It's a great place to visit in the weekend with your kids as there is a great pool. It's located near the sea which brings a great view to the hotel during sunset. The rooms were clean and they had great sanitary facilities. They followed necessary precautions in order to keep the staff and guests safe from the pandemic. The food was excellent as it had a great variety of them. I enjoyed my stay there. A good place to relax with loved ones... ❤️Nice Colombo Harbor View!

Had a lovely stay at this hotel after my arrival before heading out Colombo. it is a lovely hotel and very conveniently located. staff was very helpful and the room was clean. Just hotel requires some renovation as its been built years ago. nevertheless the place was clean.

Stayed 2 nights before my departure to Australia. Can’t blob anything. They have upgraded my room at no cost. Seafood restaurant is an amazing feature here. Buffet was good And value for money in particular during the current crisis period. Happy to return once the fuel issues are settled.

Not the newest hotel, but in hindsight... Its pretty good value for money and has a nice outdoor area and a beautiful beach right next to it. Rooms are a little bit old, but honestly... How much time apart from sleeping do you spend inside your room? For us, it was a nice place to start our Sri Lanka trip after a long flight. We spend 3 nights there, had a city tour to nearby Colombo (ask for the hotels driver Kishor! Amazing guy! Offers airport pickup as well.), relaxed at the beach and celebrated new year there. I liked, that many locals where at the hotel. People from Sri Lanka are very pleasant and kind. Spa was also great. Absolutely a good choice for moderate money to stay next to the beach on your arrival or departure in Colombo. Would do it again.

The staff is very attentive and helpful. The hotel is nice and has good amenities,the pool is nice and the lights in the evening. The rooms were spacious and clean and toilets were good and pleasant also. Food was good and the price was reasonable,breakfast buffet could have some more variaties. Overall it was a nice stay,one time they got my order wrong for dinner but they gave some free papadums. Another time it took some time then they gave complimentary soup

Pegasus hotel has improved a lot. We stayed in this hotel a long time ago and it was not so good. Now the room has been renovated and it is very nice and comfortable. We stay for 2 nights downstairs room. The buffert breakfast and dinner was excellent with plenty of varieties. Staff offer a good service in the restaurant. The welcoming of guest in the front door need improvement, as we need to take the suitcase from the van ourselves. The swimming pool was good but need more chairs and umbrellas. and a bit of renovation as well. The pool guy was good he make sure people had shower before entering the pool. Nice garden and it was good to see so many weddings. We will come back to Pegasus again next time. The price is affordable, nice food and very relaxing.

First of all, its old school type.went there after 5years,if Im nt mistaken.still same .Good thing is food section they have improoved than before. 1.On arrival 25december Parking was not available , Whole area was full, poor security guards running hear nd there, bean up so much.upon inquiry with them got to know they have inform the situation but there is a Senior guys who seems on a cool room just giving commands to these ppl at ground without even look at what s hapaning in the field.So very first impression on arrival was negative .Who ever so called security manager (whoseems responsible ), not down to earth type.not friendly personal ,seema not aware how s the hotel field work s . 2.reception was soo busy. Kind of again seems overloaded /over booked , express checking seems took about at least 1/2hr. Probably Im not that lucky on that day. 3.even thou they all overload all jounior guys, security personal seems friendly ,and try there best.could see there expression like exhousted . Importantly have to mention ALL THE SENIOR ELDERLY PEOPLE ARE NOT FRIENDLY TYPE.SEEMS THEY HAVE KIND OF ATTITUDES LIKE BOSSY ,AT RECEPTION ,EVEN AT BUFFET ENTERNCE ,Which is very unplesent and unprofessional in hotel industry ,and a inslut for srilankan hospitality .which was famous smile at face . 4.food was great.tase, arrangements , selection s etc.top notch.no dissapointment .even met chelf Cheff (i guess) mr.kolmabage ,nice gentlemen .who was inspect around the buffet and helping guests. 5.On the dinner time, it was VERY VERY VERY UNPLESENT /UNPROFESSIONAL ,playn sooo loud music, which was not controled by any management level personal .it s not acceptable environment to enjoy the food. Over all, as my topic says.for a discount rates it worth.but dont expect much.with my expirence they wont change ,this will run as it is.if you get a gd deal check it out.can have nice food atleast .enjoy !

This is always our first stop after arriving in the country. As usual, the staff are helpful and courteous. Food is good. Not very sure about the maintenance as could not find the usual bar fridge in the room. May be only this room. May be the pandemic affected every budget.

Comfortable bed, clean room, bathroom definitely requires upgrading. Check in staff ok, restaurant staff, particularly senior male staff member very polite and helpful. Dinner was set meal due to visitor numbers, however was very tasty.

Rooms are a bit run down with a shower room that’s has seen better days. Arrived 5am and paid for an extra day but woke to find not a pool view but the back end which would have seen the ocean if the view was not totally blocked by trees and there was noise and visual disturbance as they ripped out rooms perpendicular to us. Saving graces though, the Fisheries restaurant (don’t go anywhere else), the warm pool and friendly staff. Tuktuks at gate if you need provisions or atm. Once rooms upgraded would be a great spot. Apparently it’s an old BOAC hotel which tells you it’s age and the communal areas are more than tired!
