I thought the heat system was slightl annoying that we couldn’t turn it on in the morning for example. And the room was only so so. The shower burnt me to a crisp. Even though I had no hot water on it went from burning to freezing cold by itself. Very dangerous. But city location was probably what we paid for.

Still have not received my deposit back from this place almost two weeks later. Have contacted three times about this issue and still not resolved! Never again!

staff service n patient good to improved
When I ask about how to go Old Trufford. The lady at counter just answer me take tram or bus ... she assume that I know what bus n where to take them. When I want to ask further. She answers. “Take cab”. I had been travelling around the world. This is first time I get these service at 3 star rate hotel. Kind of disappointed..

Just what we needed
Friendly staff, clean throughout ,room was small but very well equipped ,warm , quiet and more importantly clean ! Cheers all at the pendulum we'll be back 👍

Staff bad services
Very disappointed that the reception Manager bad services to charge us additional breakfast fee even we did not take the breakfast and we did not agree the charges. It is not professional and we will never use this hotel again and not recommend to friends.

Exceptional
The reception staff at this hotel were unbelievably helpful. After losing my passport at the airport they were so helpful. I cannot thank them enough. They went out of their way to help me. Far more than the staff at the Manchester Lost Property Department. Thank you so much. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Small room, but very comfy.

Good location
Good location, 5 minutes walk to Piccadilly station. Area is safe. Room is small but sufficient for a few days stay. Toilet is clean, but the room carpet is a bit dusty. Housekeeping should vacuum properly. Staff is overall friendly, except for one lady at the reception that needs to beef up customer services.

decent hotel
I chose Pendulum because it offered larger rooms for a reasonable price...everything else was a shoe box. The first room I had smelled bad and had a wet area on the carpet in front of the bathroom! I asked to change rooms and they nicely accommodated me right away! The breakfast is good but gets tired after 3 mornings. The location was ok, everything is walkable within 20 minutes but would have been nice to be central...I knew this when booking.
