Value for money”
We live 2 hours from Adelaide and have stayed in a few hotels in our time. The peppers waymouth hotel would be up there with the best. The beds are so comfortable, rooms are very clean and the staff are most obliging. Will definitely come back.
Convenient to city and trams, very good value”
Visit Adelaide most years and this is our first time at Peppers Waymouth. Requested high floor and quiet room and received this. Room was quiet. Good sized room was clean and good bed. Handy to trams and mall. Rate was very good as accommodation in Adelaide was generally about 30% more than we normally pay. Will use again.
lovely hotel centrally located and great service”
We would stay again. We found Rendezvous Hotel a surprisingly pleasant experience particularly for the rate we paid. It is located centrally, within easy walking distance to the main CBD shopping and restaurant areas. Staff were very helpful with directions, maps, calling taxis and anything else we needed. We ordered room service once and the staff member was helpful and the food arrived quickly and it was still hot (unlike many other hotels). Our room was clean (except for one item we found under the bed the day we left) and all facilities were good. This hotel would be suitable for business travel or anyone wanting to stay centrally in Adelaide.
A lovely place to stay”
I stayed here recently with my partner in one of the penthouse suites and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is centrally located and very convenient to get to anywhere in the central business district. There's also a number of restaurants and cafes located just outside the hotel door as well as those inside the hotel itself. The room was visually stunning and well maintained, the view from our room was spectacular. We ordered room service both of the days we were there and the food was good and there was a good variety of options. Staff were very lovely and all very friendly. A pleasure to stay there would definitely recommend.
Best hotel I've stayed in in a long time”
I would just like to say that I was blown away by how much value for money the Rendezvous in Adelaide was. I've stayed in Adelaide a few times in other hotels of teh same price and this was far and away the best experience I had. The room was beautiful, the bathroom was lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful, the recreational facilities are the best I've seen in hotels of this rating. I will definitely be staying in Rendezvous from now on! Perfect for a business trip!
I had to quickly scramble to book for an accommodation the day prior and Peppers was only of the only lodgings in the Adelaide CBD that was within the allocated budget. Upon arrival I was greeted with a doorman and the lodging honoured my special request - jokingly asked for a high floor and got the highest floor. One of the only downsides I had with the room was that I could not figure out the taps for the bathtub/sink/shower, but I think that was just me.
Value and Convenient Hotel in Adelaide CBD”
We like this value hotel for its location and big room in the Adelaide's CBD area. The staff are friendly. The hotel is near the tram station. Most of the city's attractions are within 10 minutes walking distance. The Central Bus Station is within 5 minutes walking distance. This is the station where we boarded our tour agent bus for our two days of sightseeing tour packages in Adelaide. We had an enjoyable stay in Adelaide.
I want to live there.”
Had the best experience at Peppers on Waymouth. So clean, so big and so comfortable. I want to live there.
Husband and I recently had a 2 night stay at Peppers. The hotel is located in a street with different bars/bistros/restaurants. Easy walking distance to the bus station and Central Markets. There's a tram stop at the end of the next block. Friendly helpful staff. What more can you ask for? Highly recommend this wonderful value for money hotel.
Interlude at the Rendezvous”
We often rate our stays judging the bathroom first. We found the Rendezvous to be exceptional, especially as we love a separate shower and bath. The shower was oversized which was really nice as most are tiny, also the water pressure was amazing ! The bath was a lovely size for soaking after a hard days retail therapy and touring. The bed was very very comfortable a big plus from us !! The room was a perfect size and not too pokey. We had a lovely Tapas style dinner at Lounge 55, a tasting plate for two with a couple of extra sides. This meal was amazing, couldn't fault it! There was only one staff member running this lounge and he was a little run off his feet, but he handled it very well and was quite attentive and an excellent host! We will definitely be coming back to this hotel. It was very well situated in walking distance of restaurants, shopping and trams/buses. We even hopped on a tram to Glenelg one night for a special dinner at Esca! We will definitely recommend the Rendezvous Hotel Adelaide !
I would thoroughly recommend this lovely modern hotel in central Adelaide. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the French concierge was exceptional in suggesting both events and places to visit in the city. The facilities such as the gym, swimming pool and spa were very good and the bedroom was spotless with beautiful new furnishings and a luxurious new bathroom.
penthouse with a view”
so, the room was excellent, the staff were excellent, especially vivek, (i think thats how you spell it.) he was very friendly and helpful, and had a great sense of humour. we also went into the restaurant, and were late getting there, before time, but not much to spare. but they were great, they didnt show that it bothered them at all. i got axactly what i ordered. back to the room, the royal toilet at the entrance was beyond thoughts. the blinds were hard to work out but thats cos we couldnt turn the lights on either, so the switches can be a struggle. but we eventually worked it out. rick and myself for a lot of years have not stayed in many hotels, but lately we have been staying at a few, so as being new at this game, we have found the rendezvous to be the best one we have stayed at so far. and we have stayed in about 4 others within the adelaide city centre. so congratulations and well done, we will be back.
great hotel, most friendly and helpful service eve”
hotel staff went above and beyond their duties to cater to our needs and also to ensure that we enjoyed not only our stay in the Hotel, but more importantly, in Adelaide. we asked the staff where to go for dinner/wineries/beach and they gave us a full list of options and which to visit first. hands down, made our experience in Adelaide the best ever! thank you all so much.
Don't miss this one!”
the rendescous adelaide is a terrific place to stay if you want to explore all that the city has to offer. close to the markets, trams, rundle mall and the parks. immaculate rooms and the bar is well priced for that relaxing drink at the end of a busy day.
Fabulous hotel. Great location, room & facilities”
All round this hotel is very good, lovely rooms, good size bathroom, indoor pool area is great, nice bar/reception area .. a lovely property. In our opinion it is one of the better hotels in Adelaide and most importantly has quiet rooms which is not so common in Adelaide.
Not qualify 5 stars ”
We had a good time in Adelaide. Overall, the hotel is good but we did not feel that we stayed in 5 stars hotel. Pros: Inside the city, it is close to everything. The room is very clean. The staff is very friendly. We very happy about that. Cons: In this website, they said there are Valet parking and car park on - site but need to pay $38/day for valet parking. The car park on- site is the normal car park that not belong to hotel so we paid a lot for parking this time. Secondly, the hotel does not have a bell boy to carry luggage to the room for guest that I believe a 5 star hotel should have. Third, there is no basic things in hotel room such as free bottle of water, Bathrobe, Disposable Paper Slipper, tooth brush & toothpaste that should be in every hotel room. Finally, coffee taste bad for coffee lover. We do not mind to stay in this hotel for the next trip but we hope they can improve the service that qualify 5 stars hotel.
Peppers - simply the best”
This is by far the best hotel in Adelaide CBD, nobody else has bathrooms like yours. Baths seem to be a dying item in rooms who's name dictates there should be one "Bathroom", please never get rid of yours. We have been staying here for years but have also tried most of the other hotels in the city, always come back to this one as our favourite. When bringing friends into town, we always stay here.
We had a great time at Adelaide. Staying at Peppers was perfect for what we need. WE higly recommend it. Very friendly staff.
Great location + huge room = Great value!”
We chose this hotel for its excellent location. It's only few minutes' walk from King William Street which is Adelaide city's main street, and from "Pirie Street" tram station. It's right in the heart of CBD, close to everything - eateries, convenience stores, Rundle Mall, North Terrace etc. The room itself is also far beyond our expectation. It's huge with a huge king bed and huge bathroom. Since our room is one of those corner ones, it also comes with a balcony where we can get some fresh air if we want to. The bed mattress, the quilt, the pillows (you can choose from their pillow menu) and the air-con temperature are all very comfortable ensuring good & restful sleep during our stay. The indoor swimming pool is also a super bonus for us relaxing after a hot day outdoor. We are glad that we have grabbed this deal from agoda and got this room at a very discounted rate. I can understand why the regular rate during weekdays is that high! The only fault I can find from this hotel if I really have to is the cleanliness of housekeeping, cause we found dust in some spots of our room.
Beautiful facilities & views”
was at a busness function and brought my wife to get away from teenagers. the late checkout was great because we could look around the markets but still had the room for things such as bags, change cloths and shower. althought he weather wasn,t good, we still had a great view of adelaide and the park lands. my wife was very excited when we pulled up out the front as she has always wanted to stay at your hotel.
