"It was nice that the hotel wasn’t entirely central because you get the best of both worlds, the quiet and calm and the closeness to all the sights."

Loveliest hotel I have ever stayed in”
The Pestana Chelsea Bridge is within walking distance of Victoria Station and the main attractions of London. The hotel is only two years old and the room we were given was lovely, very modern, kingsize bed, nice bathroom. The spa in the basement was again very nice with a sauna, steam room and a swimming pool with warm water and friendly helpful staff. We stayed for two nights and ate at both the bar and in the restaurant, both times the food was excellent and portions generous. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back for a return visit.
Excellent Hotel slightly off the beaten path.”
As a new visitor to London, the Pestana Chelsea Bridge was excellent. The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was very good; it was set up as a buffet style. As a tourist unfamilar with London, I found it challenging to initially locate the hotel. Once found, the hotel was well worth the search. Great place to stay a little off the well traveled road. I would highly recommend Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel.
A Hidden Gem”
I stay over in London most weeks and have tried out a lot of hotels around Victoria and Kensington but haven’t ventured over the river towards Battersea before. I’ve ckearly been missing out because the Pestana Chelsea Bridge is a really good hotel! Modern,, bright and clean with extremely spacious and comfortable rooms. Honestly the size of the room surprised me, so many London hotel rooms are poky, not this one. My room had a proper sofa to lounge on, a nice touch missing in most hotel rooms. Lastly I must mentioned the bathroom. Very nicely appointed with a separate bath and shower stall. The bath was actually a full size tub, not the midgets only hip bath you fu d in most hotels. Definately tecommended, I will stay again!
Incredible Rooms, Views and Service.”
so easy to get to from the city, tube to victoria and bus 44 getting off just after chelsea bridge. nice area opposite park, great and speedy check in, very clean throughout, had a perfect view of the grade ii listed battersea power station and the city in the distance (including the london eye and thames). ignore reviews highlighting silly issues - blue lights in bathroom are optional, triple glazing (and the fact that london trains cease operating embarrassingly early) mean no noise issues, transport options are aplenty with night buses, multiple bus routes, 2 main line stations and 4 tube stations within easy walking distance, plus spa is complimentary. all in all, a fantastic hotel, will definitely be staying again!
Loved this hotel!”
Lovely location, sandwiched between Battersea Power Station and Battersea Park. Also adjacent to Chelsea Bridge which makes for a wonderful walk along the river to Westminster, Chelsea and Victoria Station areas. Victoria is 10-15 min walk away. No tube station nearby, however weekend parking is easy at only £4 for the weekend at the large multi story next door. Fantastic rooms and quality, all very new. Some may find the window between the bathroom and bedroom a bit strange though...also the window blind is on the bedroom side? Our friends had rooms on the Park side of the hotel and they had these windows...our room was on the Power Station side and didn't have this window. View is great from both sides, but I prefer the Power Station side as you can see the whole central london skyline in front of you.
Fab Location...”
I booked the hotel for a joint birthday weekend to meet up with an old friend...the hotel kindly upgraded us to a club room so we had a great view of London...and right opposite the power station, the railway track runs right next to the hotel but with double glazing u dont notice anything...I am originally from South London so it was great to stay there away from the madding crowd but 10 mins walk from Chelsea...the lovely Battersea Park is just across the road.. There are several frequent bus routes running into The Westend, Knightsbridge and Victoria Station..and if you really want the tube Sloane Square is a short walk... We mad full us of the spa which is small but pleasant and also offer treatments we didnt have time to try as we had a busy weekend..the staff were friendly and proffesional..very low key.Personally I found the location fantastic as I wouldnt want to stay in the Westend and it was a little home from home coming back there after a hectic day or night..I will definitely go baack and highly reccomend it to anyone...
Great hotel in London”
the pestana chelsea hotel is a great option in london. it trades off accessibility with great quality standards, which is a very unusual feature in london. never the less it is relatively easy to get to if you know the city's transport system well, so i do very hihgly recommmend this hotel to any business aor leisure traveller.
Good size rooms in a modern clean hotel.”
Thank you for a great hotel with helpful people. The rooms are very spacious and this is a modern classy hotel with aircon. It is a 10 min walk to the nearest tube at Slone Square but on a fine day this takes you over Chelsea bridge and passed some great buildings. The hotel staff were amazing and the lounges were very comfortable to hold meetings and talk. There is a train track at the rear of the building with some noise but the view is dominated by the iconic image of the old Battersea Power Station. I really appreciated the blackout blinds and got a great nice sleep - All in all thank you for a great stay.
Fabulous hotel, good reception”
Slightly off the beaten track but in a quiet position just off Chelsea Bridge. We walked into Kings Road from the hotel, only took 20 minutes and very enjoyable through the park. (We did not know but 5 mins walk away is Battersea Park Station, easy for commuting)! A lovely welcome at reception and very helpful. The room was immaculate, cannot fault it at all. We chose a room on a high floor and had a view towards the park. Very comfortable bed and pillows! We loved the bathroom, shower and bath (including dressing gowns) which made my holiday! The coloured lighting in the room was a nice added touch. We did not eat breakfast in the hotel but had a very nice evening meal there albeit rather expensive but again everything spot on regarding service, ambiance etc. Will definitely visit this hotel again when visiting family in London. Wonderful Place To Stay”
My Partner and I stayed at the Pestana for the weekend to celebrate her 30th Birthday. From walking in on Friday to leaving on Sunday we got nothing less than 1st class service. Front of house staff always wore a smile and couldn't be more helpful if they tried. The rooms were spacious and contemporary, and the spar facilities were great. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Pestana and will be visiting there the next time I go to London.
Upgraded from excellent to excellent”
Our two night stay at the hotel was a taste of luxury away from home. We came to sight see and so walked a great deal and were glad to return to the hotel to relax and be refreshed. This we were. It is a lovely hotel near to Chelsea but without Chelsea prices due to it being on the other side of the river. Superb.
Great hotel, good location.”
it's a great hotel, the only problem is the money, it's quite expensive, but for being in Chelsea is fantastic and affordable, i mean, other hotels in London use to have shared bathrooms, small rooms and are not cheap at all, so i think this is a great choice if you want to spend a little bit of money in a good hotel instead.
Exceptional rooms in a fantastic central location”
Stylish and modern accommodation near one of londons greatest landmarks- battersea power station. Centrally located and although not directly near any tube stations, an enjoyable walk across the river from Victora via Chelsea, or a short cab ride. The bar was a little expensive, however the food was excellent, particularly breakfast. And all service with a smile! Will definitely be returning.
Excellent”
This is a very clean and modern high end hotel. Very luxurious sheets, bedding and spacious bathroom. The gym/spa facilities were unavailable due to ongoing renovation, perhaps explaining the reduced room rates. Still, for 160-170 pounds per night, excluding breakfast, I did not find the hotel particularly good value, and left after two days. The staff was very courteous and efficient. If you need a quality hotel in the nueighborhood where the Pestana is located, then this would not be a bad choice.
Dear Leonard, Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for taking the time to share your experience. Our Sauna and steam room are closed due to some refurbishments we are doing to improve the area. Our indoor swimming pool and also our Gym were open. I am sorry if you were informed wrongly. I hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in a near future. Kindest Regards, Arturo Esposito - General Managet
Hidden gem”
Had a fantastic 3 night stay here. Rooms were big, clean and very modern. Separate bath was great in bathroom and room was spotless each day. Staff were fantastic and we managed to get an early check in which was no hassle. Pool and spa were lovely and quiet during the day for a bit of relaxation. Location is great if you don't mind a 10 min walk to tube station and battersea park is right across the road and well worth a visit. Have stayed in many hotels in London for same price but not a quarter of the quality. We will definately be back!
Great location by the Thames”
we stayed here to visit the Chelsea Flower Show, which was a short stroll across the bridge. Sloane Square tube was a little walk further as is the Kings Road with great shops & the Saatchi Gallery. The room was lovely, spacious enough with sofa, desk and a very comfortable bath. Handy features like an ipod docking station made for a very pleasant stay. We did not eat here so cannot comment on the bar or breakfast. Shame there was no free wifi for guests, that was the only inconvenience.
fabulous”
Lovely staff on reception, very welcoming. Room was very spacious especially for Central London. Great bathroom, bath and separate shower cubicle. Robes and toiletries provided. Bar area is very relaxed with plenty of daily newspapers. The drinks are on the pricey side, £6 for a bottle of beer seems excessive. Spa area is small but beautifully done and very relaxing. Great access to bus routes but a good 20 minute walk to a tube station. A fabulous hotel in the centre of London.
Birthday weekend”
This is a superb hotel just south of the river but still a Chelsea postcode. There is no tube service but the buses into central London are excellent and run for 24 hours. The staff are superb and deliver a great culture to the clients.
Dear Ian, Thank you for these positive comments about our location, service and staff. We welcome guests feedback and I personally pay attention to all comments made. I look forward to welcoming you back in a near future. Kindest Regards, Arturo Esposito - General Manager
Excellent hotel, very helpful staff”
we spent a weekend at pestana and it was a very good choice. the rooms are really large and comfortable. although it is a bit far from the underground, there are plenty of buses to victoria station or sloan square. from victoria station, the cab fare is approximately (british pounds). front desk staff also booked us a cab to heathrow, very convenient and comfortable ride. hotel breakfast is just ok, next time we will skip it. having to pay for wifi access in the room is a policy the hotel should reconsider, we find that preposterous.
Nice hotel, friendly staff but slightly isolated”
i loved this hotel. i espeically liked that it was near landmarks like battersea park, chelsea bridge and not far from kings street. the staff were friendly in general and made the extra effort to accomodate a shy solo traveller like myself. my room was fantastic with scenic views. what lets this hotel down is the distance to the nearest tube and a total lack of a convenience store in the vicinity - it forces you to use the hotel services which is very very expensive.
