cool sojourn in a hot town”
Отзыв о Petit Temple Suite & Spa Отзыв в обработке It’s a real oasis for a traveler. Reminiscent of Angkor, but granting freshness, relax and comfort. Exceptional design, unique bathroom, swimming pool surrounded by wild greens. Like the origin it is all on the water. The hotel lives up to its name! The staff – Chomrouen, Hort and nice girls - Kim Houy and Khania –are very hospitable, friendly and helpful. And mr. Roth (of course!)- the driver and a night porter . Great service, cleanliness, beautiful served dishes, good breakfast, local and international cuisine, shakes and freshes.
Couldn’t believe it is one Agoda Preferred. We’ve been traveling since then and this hotel is one of the worst. Take care fellow travellers READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK: We stayed 4days 3nights and this is what we got: 1st: if your flight is later than 10pm, no pick up from the airport at that time already. BUT they will still say yes, so we waited there for 1hr in the airport for nothing. 2nd: “Sorry” is not existing in the language of the reception there, they’ll even raise there voice at the end like its your fault. 3rd: the pool is just an empty box with water until your feet maybe, so don’t expect for a pool. 4th: if you book for suite with balcony don’t bother yourself to pay additional as they will put you in whatever room they want without any explanation why. 5th: expect the smelly room, sheets and washroom. Like mixed of old and stuck water. 6th: room are nice couldn’t deny but you’ll but poor maintenance and cleanliness is couldn’t hide it. 7th: don’t expect for a good breakfast.
Unfortunately this hotel is lacking good management and had not been maintained. - No transfer arrived at the airport - On check in we were taken to a basic room having paid for the Petit Suite with Pool View. I pointed this out to the staff and we were then taken to a Petit Suite with no pool view. - The grounds are not maintained, there are fish ponds all around that had plastic bags and empty bottles floating our entire stay. The trees are over grown all over the only path and the wooden deck had broken boards that were a hazard. - The pool was ok on our first day but on our second day the water level started dropping and it was green with a lot of floating leaves and dirt by the following day. Staff said it was broken and it was not fixed in the remaining 2 days. Extremely frustrating when it is close to 40 degrees. - Breakfast is below average. It is put out at 6:30 and left sitting uncovered till 10. I would not recommend this hotel, there are better options in this price range.
An amazing hotel, beautifully designed and decorated, made you feel like a queen while there. The staff were great, the food excellent, the hotel itself to die for. Altogether, a terrible place to start a holiday - my expectations for the future are totally unrealistic now.
An amazing oasis. A complete sanctuary for the senses”
I have nothing negative to say about my stay here. The staff, the rooms, the breakfast, pool area, location.... everything was amazing. Staff are extra friendly and went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are specious and clean with an extremely comfortable bed. A lock up cupboard is also provided in the rooms. The bathroom is amazing with a huge bath tub and a very trendy shower. Hot water is not a problem as It is in many other hotels in Cambodia. The bathroom has the feel of an outdoor bathroom without being outdoors. The gardens are lush and inviting and give an extra special tropical jungle feel to the hotel. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly. A beautiful stay from beginning to end. Thankyou so very much
Loved this hotel & this is why”
I loved staying at the Petit Temple Suite & Spa! I went with my boyfriend and another couple. We were greeted with mango juice as we arrived, which was a great way to welcome us after a long day of traveling! I love how the hotel has a jungle feel with trees and bushes throughout the lobby and by the rooms. The room size was great with comfortable beds and a fun jungle themed bathroom. We had a family room which was a great option for a hotel to offer. The hotel gives free breakfast which included getting to choose an option from a menu for free, which was very nice. The service was great and we were able to eat lunch several times at the hotel instead of having to go out. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I plan on going back next time I go to Siem Reap.
Not quite what agoda suggests”
On first views it seems quite nice, a bit tomb raider/Disney style. It's only when you are settled in that you start seeing..... and smelling things. The lounge area is small, a good wide angle lens was used by the photographer. All seems very dark and moody during the day. There is a bit of a jungle theme going on and it could do with a trim. You have to duck and dodge going to the poolside rooms. The pool..... looked cloudy and the seating/loungers are very restricted and limited. Having said all this, you dont go to Siem Reap to sit in a hotel. The staff were 1st class and the manageress , Anna was excellent.
Really friendly and helpful staff would do anything for you, rooms was a high standard and clean pool was amazing I was traveling with 2 young children and they abolsutely loved the setting and felt safe.
Excellent location and staff”
Few pros about this hotel: a) Very friendly, prompt and warm staff b) Breakfast was nice, and served with bread, jam, eggs, toast, bacon and fried rice with fruits selection c) Very near to Pub street and eating places. Do try out the restaurant at the corner, food is tasty and reasonable. d) Staff are friendly and very prompt. My warm water was not working properly in the room and took some time to warm. They came immediately to rectify the problem. Cons: The toilet floor is a bit uncomfortable as it is made of soft wood. Made me feel as though I was going to break it anytime. The bedsheet didn't seem extremely clean as I had itchiness on my skin after sleeping on it. But asked the staff to change it and it was ok. Floor in room seemed a bit dusty. All in all, its a rather good hotel for its location. Walking distance to foot massage, eating places and pub street, and the night market.

Pros: The location is fine. It is two to three blocks from the riverside. As long as you know the way, you can walk to the Old Market and Pub Street. You can also find some awesome resturuants within walking distance at Tripadvisor. The traffic is almost a chaos. There are too many scams to rent a Tuk Tuk. The hotel charges you a high fee if you ask for a Tuk Tuk from them.(3 dollars one way to town. And 30 dollars to the sight seeing spots.) Rent a bike instead. It is only 2 dollars a day. The staff are helpful. They help you solve every problem you ask. (Although they may be unpleasant if you don't rent a Tuk Tuk through them.) I had one staff who gave me a fake 10 dollar bill. But she was willing to take it back, as I insisted. Otherwise everything is fine. The facility is fine. You can use the pool anytime you want. There is also massage inside the hotel. Free breakfast is a plus, so as free airport pickup/dropoff.
A decent cambodia food will be served”
this is a small boutique hotel which is beautiful decoration rooms will be provided. however, since this is built by wood, we saw several insects in the room came out from the woods. which is really normal in south asia. also sewer smell was a bit there, but since my husband did not feel much, i did not say anything. it was ok. for the price, i think it is really decent hotel. AMOK(cambodia food) was amazing there. you should try it.
Very relaxing atmosphere, rooms were large and beautifully decorated. Staff are wonderful and very accommodating. Will definitely stay again and would recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing break in beautiful surrounds.
We booked a package including massages, transfers, meals and Angkor Wat tour. Although slightly old the room was HUGE and comfortable. Staff were fantastic - friendly and very helpful. Food was good and the setting is fantastic with all the plants and water etc. Massages were great. Transfers were in a tuk tuk so an interesting but fun experience with all our luggage haha. Location was good, a little out of the way/off the beaten path but a very easy walk to pub street, markets and food. Would stay here again.
I love the Hotel”
wonderful place. Unfortunately I stayed only one night there without making use of the massage which in my opinion was too expensive. The landscaping is beautifully arranged. Regrettable the telephone and the television did not work. The batteries of the Aircon controller also had to be replaced. However, this is something I am used to in Asia where maintenance is not a priority. As a whole I really enjoyed my stay there.
this place is a gem”
best place ever... the staff so good and helpfull..the lady who owns hotel or is the manager is the best lady i ever met....so helpfull and did lots of things for us booked buses ext....if she was not married i world of married her....
LOvely boutique hotel in central Siem Reap”
We had a wonderful stay at Petit Temple. Our room was beautiful, as was the pool and breakfast areas - it feels like a lush garden hideaway in the middle of town. However, we were disappointed to find out on arrival that due to a confusion over our booking we were unable to stay at the hotel on our first night (despite my sending two confirmation emails the week before and not receiving a reply to either). That said, alternative accommodation was arranged for us, and our luggage was moved for us the next day, so inconvenience was minimised. We were also offered complimentary massages as compensation. The spa room was lovely. However, unfortunately, the masseurs appeared not be very well-trained or professional. While my Thai massage was still an enjoyable experience, it seemed strange that no pyjamas were provided and I was left to wear the clothes I arrived in. It was also frankly bizarre to have the masseurs talking to each other throughout, and one even going to the bathroom mid massage!
Great place to stay for Cambodia New Year”
10 out 10 for price at great hotel with a very nice big breakfast, big room and great garden that has a clean big swimming pool. The staff are very nice and helpful with great owners who invited hotel staff & guests to a Cambodian New Years party at there house with free food + drinks all night long, I had one of the best nights in Cambodia but still have to learn how to dance Khmer but that can be for next year.
Refreshing, relaxing and unique”
Our stay at the Petit Temple Suite was absolutely amazing. Of all of the hotels that we have stayed in over the last few weeks, this was the best of them all. The design of the hotel is very unique and interesting. The food was inexpensive and fabulous. All of the staff were extremely friendly. The pool area is very lush with greenery and you feel like you are not in the city. Great value.
I thought Petit Villa a great wee hotel but v disappointed the way Agoda presented it. It was charming and the staff fantastic and a great location, but not in the price range of US$171 dollars a night which Agoda claimed it to be before a %75 discount. At %75 off I thought it would be a great last minute deal in a top hotel, but it was a very simple place and barely worth the $57 a night.. My complain lies with Agoda not the hotel.
It's silent good place and room with temple design look so cool and relaxing .
