Organizing wine-tasting sessions on site and providing a large garden, Petrényborpanzió is 2 km from the Egerszalók Medical- and Thermal Bath. Private parking is possible on site. Good location, flexible hosts, the room was nice, the matresses were super comfy. There is a self-service wine cooler. You can use the garden, there is a grill corner.
The fridge in the room could be bigger. When the weather is hot, it must be difficult to sleep, as there is no airconditioning. We were the only guests and I think because of this the breakfast was not worth the money - there was only a small selection.

The small inner yard was nice. It was possible to by the owners wine.
Our room was U-shaped and therefore seemed small. Electricity went out a couple of times. Traffic noises from the street.

It was clean and building/rooms looked nice.
I missed small things such as shower gel, shampoo, or some basic kitchen stuff (oil, salt etc.). I think at this price and level these little things should come with the room. Everything else was good and we enjoyed our stay there.

Had a pleasant stay and great wines”

Receptionist guy was super friendly, (we loved him), we loved the self service wine fridge, (the wines were also really good), & the opportunity to sit in the garden / patio and also to talk to other guests (even during night). Room was really nice and clean. We had fridge inside. And we learnt that the baby bed we got in our room was originally the owner’s grandchild’s. How nice, we truly appreciated that at least they could somehow manage to provide a baby bed. Many similar hosts are not doing this. And this had a bit of personal touch to it.
We liked our stay. However, as constructive feedback: the 8PM check in was quite soon & the 10AM check out is also quite early for a “wine house” ;-) Luckily there was some flexibility. Maybe some more would be great (also formally). And the breakfast was just OK (not bad, but also not really great). As an example we would recommend more fruits (e.g. banana), and better juices + vegetarian options.
