We had a great stay at petunia garden! The locations was perfect right in between the beach and old town. Bike rentals available and for a great deal. The owners were so helpful with information. The breakfast was fantastic. Great stay for a perfect price!

        Well looked after at PGH”

This family run homestay was perfect for our stay in Hoi An. We enjoyed the breakfasts that were changed each day we were there, noodles, fruit, soup etc. Room was very clean and bathroom looked like it had been recently renovated! We were even served breakfast at 4:50am before we had to catch an early morning bus (even after we insisted that we didn't need anything the evening before!) Your also able to buy bottle water, beers, and even rent bicycles for less than £1 per day. Without bikes it took us about 10 minutes to cycle into town. Would definitely recommend staying at PGH!

        Cool”

The family, the garden, the quiet

Living among a lovely family of flower sellers, the surroundings are quaint and refreshing. You will be taken care of with utmost hospitality, and your needs will be attended to. The mother is a real sweetheart and genuinely wants to make her guests happy. The son appears to constantly be attending the upkeep of the homestay, and the grounds themselves are full of birds and flowers, tucked away from the often bordering chaos Hoi An can produce. My stay here was perhaps the best part of my visit. Just make sure that you are guaranteed a bed; one guest was asked to share a bed with a stranger and left with a horrible impression of the homestay. Sure, this is unprofessional to double book a bed and you should make sure you get what you paid for, but it was unfortunate that the guest's notion of the family was tinted by this incident.

Nice garden, friendly and kind family, and clean room

It's 5 minutes to get to the beach by bicycle and 5 minutes to get to Hoi An old quarter, very convenient. The room is nice and clean, very nice garden with lots of flowers and vegetable. They are very friendly and kind. Brought for me lots of locally special food. You can see the daily life of local people, experience amazing thing in the rural area of Hoi An that you can not experience if you stay in the other hotels (not home stay). You can tell them to book tour for you to Cu Lao Cham island or any tour you like...

        Lovely homestay with friendly hosts”

        Host, atmosphere, the other travellers

Hoi An is just a beautiful city to stay in for which I extended my duration of stay; the host is friendly and helpful, I told him I need to stay for a few days more and he said that it was OK, that I could pay by cash when I'd checked out. His mother doesn't speak english, but she is a nice caretaker, she was smiling with us all day and made sure we had breakfast before went out and about exploring. She was so nice that my roommate called her "mom". The homestay is about 1.5-2km from city centre, a bit isolated from noisy streets and has nice garden. Quiet place to rest after long day exploring the beauty and enjoying the food of Hoi An.

        Great breakfast, nice garden,

Booked for 3 nights but I left after a night. Great homestay choice if you want to be far from Hoi An center. Bicycles are available for rent. Breakfast is served to your room and you can enjoy it with a nice view of their garden. Shower temperature is hard to control and no one at home understands or speaks english except for the son.

        Lovely Homestay!”

        Staff, Comfortable, Clean

Lovely stay, very relaxing. Clean, spacious room, huge bathroom, very comfortable bed. Had breakfast included every morning which was very good, although usually noodles and pork, something we're not use too for breakfast, made us feel like locals though! Older lady does not speak much English, but is so lovely and happy all the time! Always a younger lady or gentleman around who spoke good English. About 2 km from the heart of Hoi An, but a very easy walk or bike ride. We rent bicycles for 30,000 and I think motorbikes were 120,000.

        comfortable stay and nice owner”

Stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed my stay. Private room was comfortable and clean with a good shower. The room has a small patio but it should state it's shared with the neighboring room, picture can be seen as misleading. I thought it was a private patio. Breakfast was ok either a banana pancake or omelet/bread with tea/instant coffee. Could do with some butter/jam to go with the bread. Guesthouse is located away from the main road so can't hear the traffic. Scooter can be hired for 110000 or bicycle for 30000. Place is halfway between old quarter and the beach. Owner was very kind and booked onward bus and printed my boarding passes. Would recommend staying here.

I very much enjoyed my stay here. Te owners are nice, the rooms are the largest, and cleanest I've had so far (3 months in SEA) and the shower is a godsend! 3 person dorms almost feel like a private and the house is brand new (only three months old). The breakfast is very good, only the wifi connection is rather slow.

        Excellent ”

We stayed here for 2 nights and had the perfect stay. We actually tried to book for another night but it was unfortuantley allready booked. This is run by a lovely family, very friendly. We had breakfast and dinner diring our stay and both where delicous. This place has very homely welcoming feel about it. I would highly recommend.

        Good value for money”

The hotel was cheap, clean and in a good location.

The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, as was the bathroom. The location was good, only 5 minutes on bike to the town. However, we would not recommend staying here if you will be wanting to take afternoon naps or have a lie in. Upon arrival the staff told us how quiet it was, they obviously didn't think about the noise they were making amongst themselves sitting outside. We also wouldn't recommend staying here if you would ever be in a rush to take a warm shower as it takes about 15 minutes to heat up! Overall it was good but there are a few small things they could improve on that would make a big difference!

        Basic but good”

It's super basic, no frills but that's what I wanted. I met some awesome people there and staff were super friendly! Breakfast every day was served whatever time you decided to wake up. One point if you WANT to b fairly central; it's not! Again this my choic, 2k from the town and 2k from the beach. I enjoy walking so I did this all the time however they offer bike rental and cabs are super cheap (the lady kept telling me it would $5 to go to down but it was more like $1! Such a safe place and I can't rate I have enough! Would 109% stay her again!

        Nice place but untrustful staff.”

        social, close to beach, cheap

Great homestay "close" to the beach. DON'T rent anything here, if something happens they will force you to pay ridicolous amounts. It's quite far away from the Old Town if you're walking, but it's just a 7 min bike ride. Can't recommend it because the rental-mentality but if you don't rent anything it's allright.
