Food and Coffee amazing, rooms nice and great balcony seated area outside each room. If you are doing the Thakhek Loop i would base yourself here and ride to the Konglor Cave and back again. Dont bother with what options are available at Konglor Village.

The price is decent, it's clean and spacious and there's a great restaurant - cafe attached, with good food at a mostly very fair price and good service. However only the owner really speaks English. Also the menus could be better explained to make it easier for English speakers. It's a great jumping-off point for going to Kong Lor Cave (or other sites and features). The rooms, including the bathrooms, were as advertised. The hotel receptionist is low on English but tries very hard to help you. The water stations (ie for coffee, tea) need to be refilled more diligently.

I slept straight through for 9 hours. The only odd thing was the American breakfast - apart from egg, bacon, toast etc there was also grilled or fried carrots, cauliflower and green beans 😀 on the plate? Not seen that in my 62 years on the planet. Another first for Laos.
