The owners were very nice, the breakfast was good simple continental we paid slightly more and had some fresh fruit too. Was away from other people so able to chill out.

Phangan Natural Resort has very welcoming owners who are easy to talk to. The wife spoke slightly less English but that was fine really lovely couple with plenty of smiles. He helped us out a few times telling a few nice places to go and even dropped us off for dinner one night for a fraction of a taxi fair. Not too sure you could say there was a restaurant there. There is an area for eating but if you want any food you have to let them know the day before or early on that day. The resort itself could be made to look a lot better with a bit of gardening to stop the growth quite so much. (Didn't look much like the pictures) the bungalows themselves were ok nice and clean which is good. Beds a bit too soft for our liking but oh well. The amount of spiders, lizards and mozzies in there was a bit disconcerting even though there were nets on the windows and doors. We would it was a bit of a trek to haad salad but this hill is extremely steep and hard work. All the taxis from haad salad wouldn't bother taking us up. Not the owners fault but best to get a moped or car. Overall disappointed for the price we paid when there were a lot of very nice bungalows a long the beach for only a little bit extra. Would not stay here again
