Peaceful, Clean Bungalows and Friendly Staff is a winning combination”

We loved our 7 Day stay at Phayam Coconut Beach Resort, the beach is nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I liked the garden and the fact that the Bungalows are not on top of each other. It had 24 hour electricity which is not given in Koh Phayam. Finally the food was good too, we tried several places outside and I think the food was as good in the resort as outside. looking forward to go back.

Pros: Location, staff, food Cons: where do I start, the resort is very run down, not looked after and not clean. Dirty bed linen, only cold shower, very few facilities etc etc too many to mention

Very good location on the centre of the beach. Very basic accommodations, but it's all you need when in koh phayam. Would be nice if you received 2 bottles of water each day as most places do. Also having to ask for toilet paper everyday was a bit of a pain, but honestly it's a very chill island so no big deal.. All the staff were extremely friendly and the food was good as well. Would consider returning next time in phayam.

heavenly beach location”

We totally enjoyed our stay. The resort is on a beautiful stretch of beach, almost all the cabins have a beach view and have a sense of privacy as they are not closely spaced together. Cabins are simple but clean and attractive. Parn and his wife are relaxed and friendly and go out of their way to make the stay pleasant. I would definitely return to this resort.

Great place to stay for a few days”

On the whole, my stay was very pleasant, even though the normal manager was on maternity leave and another worker had stepped in to fill the role temporarily, but he was competent enough. The location is gorgeous and the huts adequate, though the electricity is not on continuously. For this reason alone, it doesn't deserve a 2-star rating. Also, there's only wifi in the dining area and not in the huts. Otherwise, breakfast arrangements were flexible enough to suit me, which is a big plus, and they didn't mind my using the socket in the dining area for doing my emailing, though they resisted the idea in the beginning. Overall, the resort deserves a good rating,and I wouldn't hesitate going there again.

Beachfront cottage perfect and quiet”

Loved my bungalow once i got in it. Booking agent, Tik, was wonderful once she finally returned to the property and switched me to the correct bungalow i had reserved and prepaid for. The waitress had stuck me in what was available, a older, shabbier, bigger bungalow for 5 nights until Tik returned. I think they had overbooked. Mama Coconut gave me a warm welcome after a Thai guest had spoken to them about straightening out my bungalow.

Bungalow direct to a beautiful and clean beach ”

The Bungalows are Directly at the beach. you also can eat there tasty stuff! The service is very friendly and kind. The bungalows are situated 15 min with the motorbike away from the pier. The bathroom is open so we had 2 frogs- but they turned to be quite useful because they eat all the flies!

Location, location, location.”

Very old bungalow on the nicest beach of the island. Good and cheap restaurant, smiling staff. NO service at all in and around the bungalow, but that's not very important for a few days. We stayed there a week.

Relax relax and fantastic service”

Lovely bungalow with fantastic see views. We slept listening the sea every night. Run by a family is a very relaxed place. They serve us coffee in the bungalow great service. We loved our stay. Will return. I suggest to rent a motorbike as you arrive in the port are cheaper that anywhere else.

Evaluation”

1. Ok, but Deluxe Category was very dirty and old. Not value for money. Simple and basic is okay, but cleaning is possible. 2. Interims Management hardly able to manage overbookings. Told Problems to guests, which is not our Problem. We had to "fight" for our Bungalows with the category we paid. 3. Staff (besides management) spoke hardly English, causing wrong food deliveries and misunderstandings.

The Suite Bungalow is great”

That was the best bungalow in the resort and it was really nice. Big space, an extra day-bed for relaxing, a modern fan und a good AC. It had everything you need. The only problem is that directly in the neighbourhood is a bar with louder music and people who get drank and are loud as well. if you are there many days and want to relax, it's maybe not what you want to experience. It's a shame, because this is the best bungalow for sure. I only spent one night there, so it was not a problem, what I wouldnt stay there one week or even many nights, because there are more quiet places. But if it dosent disturb anybody, it's a great bungalow! The resort has some sunbeds, much better ones than other resorts (which have wooden sunbeds with ANY cushion on it, so I'm not sure whether the sand is not more comfortable). But the resort itself doesnt offer many comfortable options to relax or chill there, which is a shame. The reception and restaurant area could be more inviting and nicer as well. Maybe after a better financial season than the last 3 years they can invest again a little bit to make the place nicer for the customers.

Bungalow avec vue sur la plage. La chambre est basique mais le cadre magnifique. Personnel sympathique. Louez une moto au port pour vous y rendre car pas de transports dans l'île.

Einfach aber wunderschön ”

Wer nicht viel braucht hat hier alles! Großer Strand, mit kaum Menschen, eine kleine Hütte mit Van und freundliches Personal.. was braucht man mehr?

Lage direkt am Meer mit schönem Strand.”

Personal ist freundlich. Leider sind die Bungalows nicht sauber und es wurde während unseres 6tägigen Aufenthaltes auch nicht gereinigt. Auf Nachfrage, ob ich einen Eimer mit Wasser und einen Wischmopp bekommen kann, damit ich die Terrasse reinigen kann, gab es die Auskunft, dass es nur einen Wischmopp für innen gibt. Die Bungalows waren innen auch nicht sauber und die Bäder sind ebenfalls schimmelig und alt. Die Lage der Anlage ist allerdings sehr gut.

Die Anlage ist heruntergekommen und gehört dringend renoviert.”

Das Bad ist eine Zumutung.
