I hired a motorbike at the wharfe and started to drive to Aow Yai beach.I spotted Phayam Sport Bungalow. It looks different and interesting. I really enjoyed my stay. I joined in with the other guests and played various sports. What a great idea. The rooms were clean and I slept well at night. It was a short walk to the beach along a shady path. I loved my morning swim. I will stay here for sure again.

I checked into Phayam Sport Bungalow. The staff were polite and showed me to my bungalow. We passed by people playing badminton and petanque My friend and I enjoyed a cool beer and good food at the resort's restaurant. During our stay we walked along the nearby beach and swam each morning. The rooms were clean and I got a good nights sleep. This is a good place to stay.

Nice Bungalow a Short Walk from Aow Yang Beach”

The hosts were very accommodating, helping us with taxis, reccomendations, food and drink. Whatever we needed. The bungalow was cute and comfortable, but electricity was only on intermittently, and the water in the shower didn't drain completely. Yet, for the price, this is definitely worth it.

Lovely stay”

I stayed at the sport bungalow three nights with a friend so it was really cheap. The stuff was so nice and helpful, really like them. The bungalow was clean and tidy. I enjoyed the time there a lot, though you need to be aware that you'll have some little friends living with you.

Actually we booked for 3 nights, but we extended our stay for 3 nights more! The bungalow is small, but good! The bed is comfortable and the location in general is amazing. We saw a mouse and a geko, but in general there a lot of animals on the island. So we didn’t have a problem with this. The last day there was a little party and we got free and very good food! An addition to that, they picked us up from a beach party from the other side of the island (we paid 250bath). We really hope to come back to the island and then we’re defintily going to stay in your hostel again! Greetings!

the bungalow is really clean, the restaurant is good and not expensive. location is good, near to the beach.. you also can take a bike and go everywhere. hosts are really friendly. they give you free water every day i really recommend this place, good and not expensive!

Nice little bungalow. But too small for the the price. I understand that because it's close to to the beach. They give 2 bottles of water per day which is nice service. If they put lower price and need to give free water. I think much more worthy to stay. And I think they will get more customers. Still recommend because I like bamboo bungalow and they service.

good bungalow at 5 min walk to the beach”

clean bungalow close to the long beach, bars and shops. very friendly staff. there is also a very good restaurant close to this place called lucky restaurant.

Good location, friendly staff”

(+) toilet paper and water in the bungalow; location is good, not great, just good; doble and quite ok bed, but the space too small for 2; friendly staff; (-) despite they say they have internet in the commom areas, they don´t have it; I´ve been here in the end of the season, but there was no people around, nobody at all. If you´re looking for this, it´s a good place. No chill area, it´s a "just to sleep place" and for stay in your bungalow in the evenings; and that´s it. You can find better places with the same budget.

A beautyful stay on a very nice hotel on a place different from other crovdy places. Beautyful nature and beaches. Good food. Very very good value for the money.

basic but fine”

A very basic bungalow which is reflected in the price. What looks like sand is actually dust. The beach had fine black dust/ash through it too. Please note there is only electricity from 6pm to 3am, the mosquito net means most of the cold air is lost. Bottled water was provided. It is right beside little hut and a thai vendor selling fruit, shakes, pad thai and fried rice.

Expensive for what you get if you go during peak season”

The staff here is simply amazing, especially the lady who cooks at the restaurant and her husband and lovely daughter. Unfortunately, in peak season, the bungalows are waaay to ecpensive for what you get. They are not worth more than 500/600 thb.

300m to the beach. Toxic bonfire from the neighborhood who burn plastic, so low air quality can be a problem, also at night. People with asthma should be aware.
