Nice and cozy place”
Phi Phi Resort is a family friendly resort. The staff there were very welcoming especially their manager Sir Aries. They will accomodate your request depending on its nature. The rooms were clean, theres a strong supply of fresh water and there was an ample space for you to move around. I had fun during my stay at the resort as also the view from my room is very lovely!!

Disappointed ”
Our experience wih Phiphi is indeed disappointing. Phiphi is one of the known Beach Resorts in Morong, Bataan but my experience there was definitely not pleasant. We arrived there around 7 PM. We have no food since we were informed it wasn't allowed and that there is a restaurant in Phiphi. Well, we were then informed that the resto serves only until 7 PM, we insisted on ordering and luckily they gave us a chance to order. My group ordered 4 dishes and we waited for TWO HOURS. No joke. We waited that long. We didn't complain bc we were considering the staff's work and the fact that we weren't really supposed to order. The series of bad events followed. When we swam in the pool, it's too dirty. Too much chlorine and the water is already blurring. My daughter had skin irritation due to this. The bedsheets weren't presentable either. And the comfort room was extremely dirty. :((( it was then type of dirty that cr's that was not cleaned during previous guests looked.

Good Beach Hotel with Affordable price”
I stayed here with my family last January 11-12, 2014. We really enjoyed our stay since it was a good location, peaceful, clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. Foods in their restaurant were average though there were only few selections. My only comment is for the wi-fi. Signal was very weak inside the rooms. You have to go outside near the reception office for a better signal.

saga of frustration”
It was the worst spoiled family outing we have experience. Instead of consuming the paid two nights reservation through Agoda, we just check-out the next day due to the following frustrations: 1.) We booked for the island dorm facing the swimming pool but was assign a room facing the activity area, with the reason that its been taken already 2.) The air-con unit was too small to handle the summer heat 3.) The foul odor of the comfort room was so terrible, we even bought and apply air freshener but no effect 4.) One of the double deck bed have heavy crack on lateral beam which may collapse injuring the one lying in the lower bed 5.) Their so called "Restaurant" does not have even a single menu list, nor the staff knew what were the available food, which they still have to ask the one and only chef that would cater to hundreds of guest during labor day 6.) The quality of water in the swimming pool was milky and greenish, in which the tiles were not visible at all, it taste salty and smelly too 7) The location is quite remote so that only small kichenette and small groceries were you can buy the food supplies. Suggestion: Phi phi should have not been featured nor rated by Agoda in the future in order to save other people to experience the same frustrations we have.

a worthwhile short stay”
hotel was ok but toilet needs repair. beach area security was commendable, closed after 6pm no night swimming. staffs were helpful and friendly.

Need more improvements”
We've stayed for 3D2N without WIFi access. And the cable tv are not working. Very disappointing. Though the staff are ok and approachable the food is not bad but need more choices especially native food of bataan.

Dingy, Dirty, and Rather Disappointing”
From the glowing reports in Agoda my expectations were rather high, though tempered by the low prices, unfortunately, the low priced rooms turned out to be dirty, dingy, and frankly a bit disgusting. Then I was told that I could pay an additional amount for a nicer room, despite the fact that there were only 2 of us, I paid more than twice what I was charged in Agoda for a room that had a musty smell (much like mold and mildew), a shower and toilet that was small, cramped, had a broken toilet seat, non-working heaters, and that pervasive smell. Telling ourselves that we can't really expect 3 star service from this place we went to have lunch, only to be told that the first 5 items we ordered were all "unavailable", finally we settled for adobo, which while tasty is probably due more to the extreme hunger we were experiencing after waiting 90 minutes for the adobo to be served. The pool was rather dirty, and the beach was disgustingly dirty with trash and refuse. Trying to salvage what we could, we ordered snacks for merienda, or tried to, only to be told that the items we wanted were unavailable, so we changed our orders, again to be told the same thing. We gave up and went to a Vietnamese canteen nearby which served fairly decent pho at low pricing. That evening when we tried to shower, we found out that there was no water, so I had to go out, look for a 7-11 (37 minutes away) to buy water with which we could wash our faces and brush our teeth with. The next morning we left very early to find a place that serves breakfast.

It was ok but would get another room instead of the room I got. The picture of the resort is deceiving as there are other portions and we stayed at the not so good part of the resort.

Nice hotel but Isolated”
Too far away from anything except the beach. This is 25km from Subic and there is nothing in the small town to do. Waited 1 hour 45 minutes for lunch with a 3 year old. Was told the wait was because another order is ahead of us.

crowded during holy week”
our kids enjoy the beach, the water is clear and clean, the sand is just fine though of course, its not as white as in boracay. the swimming pool is okay, child friendly and can be used until late at night but they are not strict coz at night they allowed tipsy/drunk men to swim in the pool and with the improper swimming attire. i'm quite disappointed coz i am expecting that we cud spend our holy week in a serene place but it's not coz the place was so crowded, maybe better in off-peak season. but the worst, they don't have good food, offered limited menu and they run out of food as early as 9pm. anyway, we just tried to enjoy our stay here but we're disappointed with the food in their restaurant, we have to go out to eat/buy foods that we like and there is no restaurant near the area.

Worst Hotel I have ever stayed at. ”
Original room I had reserved smelled horrible when we went in and the bathroom smelled even worse. I asked the front desk to move us to another room and the only thing available was the Family villa, which we took, even though it was just 2 of us and it's designed for 10. It was nicer but still had a smell to it. We noticed that there were no phones in the rooms, so if you wanted room service or needed assistance with the room, you had to flag down a hotel employee. We went to the restaurant only to find that it only has outside seating and a very limited menu, which they may or may not be serving at the time you order. My lady's first order, was not available, as well as her second order. We ran into this problem multiple times with them not having what we ordered available. We went back to the villa and tried to connect to the internet, but it was password protected and they had not given us the password, so we had to flag down a hotel employee to get it for us. When we got it, the service was incredibly slow on the front porch and living room and almost nonexistent in the bedroom. The refrigerator was unplugged, turned off and smelled very bad. Day 2 at about 10am the water went out in the whole villa. We asked the staff about it and they said, "oh, I'm sorry. I will turn it back on for you." 3 days and 2 nights and they did not come to clean the villa once. They have tons to learn about customer service. Once again, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I'm very well traveled.

The stay was quite good. It is just the airconditioned was not that cold, maybe it is too small for a big room. And water runs out once in a while. Rather than that, it was good.

It Was Christmas With a Typhoon”
It all was a little disappointing, we had lunch and breakfast there for a family of 7, lunch to a very long time and the same with breakfast the next morning. Some of our family said that breakfast was OK but I and the son-in-law found that the hotdog was still frozen. Could have been cleaner on the outside, the room was just average.
