Excellent staff owner could not do enough for us we were invited to a barbecue by the locals on both nights if you want an excellent quirky private place to stay this is a must it's on the quiet end of the beach nestled amongst the trees we had two great nights watching lightning and thunder storms

Value for money, nothing fancy. Nice view”
Budget accomodation. Alright. End of the beach location, few steps up. Noise from the nearby bar, that turn half the beach into their private disco. Not the hotels fault, more an general Phi Phi problem. Left island again after 1 night.

Old hotel”
It's an old hotel. Yes it's on the beachfront. But when the tide is high, you have to go around the back and walk for more then 10minutes to the center in Tonsai beach. I think I could have booked a better hotel for the amount I paid here.

View was really awesome ”
We can see Phi phi view thru the balcony. The view really supreme but u need to climb up a lot of stairs case to your room. Very tiring. Toilet door can not locked. Vifi not stable. We good problem communicate with owner. If u can download app that can translate I think the communications will be better. So act for this property depand to the traveller if u want best view so can try here

i cannot say enough nice things about this hotel. the hotel is ideal if you are looking for a budget hotel, with a beautiful view, right on the beach, with simple but great breakfast, amazing staff, away from the party scene but close enough to get there in a short walk. we stayed in c1, the top left room which was so great. the room had a balcony, clean sheets, and a great air con. the family running this place is just so fantastic. the women who owns it with her brother is super sweet and her husband was a joy to get to know. they were all so friendly and helpful making our experience so intimate. the hospitality at this place really stood out. i would absolutely recommend this hotel and wish i would have stayed much longer instead of doing phucket. great job phi phi good view, i hope to see you all in the future. ps, if you are reading this i am the american girl, who was speaking thai with you. if you remember me, my boyfriend, our friend and the british guys who stayed with you jan4-7th, we would love to thank you for making our experience so amazing. i wish you all the best.

Good for price. Basic but good”
Owner greeted us at port when our ship came in which was nice! Two bottles of beautiful cold water upon arrival! Yes the stairs are steep but me and my partner are moderately fit so its fine! Wouldn't wanna climb them drunk though! Best view of the whole island accross whole beach was amazing! We paid £36 for one night which is cheap for phi phi island (we booked night before) breakfast is good the owner cooked us both an omlette each and loads of tea/coffee/juice! Would defo stay again

Room with a view”
Phi Phi Good View Resort is the place to stay on the island! Amazing views & on the OPPOSITE side from all of the partying!! Once you shut your door at night you can no longer hear the thumping music & can actually sleep! A short walk into town (& to the nightlife), but far enough away to feel like you're much further away. Great staff, too!

Nice room on beachfront”
had a great stay at phi phi good view. was unsure of what to expect after reading mixed reviews. we found the place really easily by walking and taking the turning after the hospital. the room was fairly basic but clean and comfortable enough. the breakfast was great juice coffee eggs and toast. the beach is lovely there are some rough bits around the edges rubbish etc but hey that's thailand and phi phi good view isn't a 5 star resort. the noise from the bars at night is loud but we still slept! very much enjoyed our stay here!

Pleasant stay. great location of central phi phi ”
Stayed here two nights and when speaking to other tourists on phi phi was happy with my decision. Good View is located on the quieter part of the central phi phi island, but it does get noticeably noisy at night (between 20:30 - 22:00 the noise increases and does not end till some time later). Still you do have quiet time during the day because the main shops and tourism venues are on the other side and the beach is one the quietest. the bungalows have a great view of the beach and the breeze is pleasant as well. If you stay here I highly recommend paying to rent a canoe and going to monkey beach which is no more than 15 minutes away. The staff were really nice and helpful. I did not have high expectations for the room facilities since reviews stated that phi phi accommodation is not cheap, i think it more of a guest house or youth hostel level than a hotel. Food and drinks at Good View were very delicious and reasonably priced.

Great location on a budget”
this is a small house located on the edge of lodam bay. everything in phi phi town is walking distance. it's great to walk along the beach to get into town. lots of stairs to walk up but staff are more than happy to carry bags up and down the stairs as well as to the pier. clean, basic rooms with a view. would stay here again if traveling on a budget.

Nice hotel a stones throw away from the beach”
it is a real no frills hotel that is right next to the beach. it is just what i would expect from small island life really, your not going to have your luxurys but it is a roof over your head and somewhere to get your head down. phi phi is a party island, you can hear the music from way down the beach in this place so its not somewhere you can stay and relax. its for the young or young at heart, party animals.

The direction to the resort is quite confusing since it's located on another side of the island. The main areas of shopping, market, and restaurants are about 20 mins walk from the hotel. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room condition is worn out with unpleasant smell.

I would recommend to stay in villa”
Booked standard room, but was really disappointed with it's quality. In general it is clean and there is no problems to live there, but it's not very comfortable, balcony is very small and close to your neighbors. Be ready for the crazy music noise from the beach. Prepare good berushi or something like that - music stops only at 3-4 am in the night. Beware monkeys, and don't leave valuable things or food on the balcony. Every morning couple of monkeys visited us to find some food. The view from balcony is fantastic. I would recommend to stay in the villa only, not in the main building. It's not much more expensive, but much more comfortable. The view is also very good. Hotel offers kayaks for good prices, lower than on the beaches.

It was okay, nothing special!”
So the resort was better than the first place we stayed but again not great for the price you pay. The view was great but you pay for that with the noise from the beach bars all through the night until 3am (but you can hear this from anywhere!) We were on top floor and it was a huge climb up to the room, but this is expected for most places in Phi Phi. Room standard ok. walked in to two cockroaches on the floor - don't really care myself but i know some people will. Careful of the monkey's - one managed to sneak into our room whilst we were there - luckily he ran away but could have been nasty. Again - not great value for what you get but that's Phi Phi.

Great view, but ruined by many disappointments.”
The hotel has lovely ocean view rooms. However the walk to the hotel is quite far from the main areas of phi phi and is only accessible along the beach which is a nightmare at high tide as you have to walk through sea water. This is not practical if you have suitcases or small children. It is also unlit at night so remember to bring torches as that area of beach by the hotel has many crabs and we encounted a few snakes and frogs. When you get to the hotel the stairs leading up to the room are very steep and high. Then once you finally get to your room it's full of Mosquitos. There are much cheaper nicer hotels in phi phi but the view is beautiful. Probably wouldn't stay there again.
