Long walk but owner will help you with bags”
It was more like an old shed from the outside but it looks better inside. Everything was clean in the room. The swimming pool had a lot of flies in so I didnt spend much time in it. The owners were very friendly and even managed to carry my very heavy bag up all 100 (or so) steps to my room. It was good for a couple of days but wouldn't want to be walking up and down them steps for any more than that. Great value for money though.

Pros - Close to the action but, quiet enough to sleep. Air Conditioning worked well, pool sufficient to cool you down, breakfast satisfactory. Cons - Wi-Fi didn’t work in our bungalow although probably would work in bungalows by pool level. Wi-Fi speed fast in reception area. The man who transported our bags from the pier to the hotel was very friendly, chatty & helped a lot of people along the way.

There was a staff waiting at jetty to bring us to the hotel. Unfortunately we missed it, so we found the hotel our own. The staff at counter is so friendly, they provide us the half day island trip and and also used the van to fetch us to the Town.

Pros.... beautiful view... collection arranged at ferry...lovely pool... air conditioning...friendly staff. Cons. A lot of ruggedly constructed steps... Breakfast poor and over priced.

So many stairs ”
These bungalows are way up out of the city centre atop a hill. I guess hence “viewpoint” When we got there after hiking with our luggage all the way up there she shows us our bungalow. The highest one farthest away. Then she goes on saying that if we want to upgrade to a lower cabin it’s an extra 400 baht per person person night. I was staying with my dad who is 60. Thank god we only booked two nights. We decided to stick out the cabin that was so far away. At night you can hear monkeys jumping around on the roofs of the bungalows. Pretty scary. I didn’t sleep for the 2 nights we booked. The beds are also hard as rock, and there is no wifi in the bungalow, just in the common space. The pool closes at 8pm probably because if you are in there later you will be attacked by monkeys. Never ever again would I book or recommend this place.

Great stay for those who don't mind stairs. ”
We had a nice stay here. Someone was at the pier to greet us and carry our bags for us. It is about a 25 minute walk from the centre of phi phi but we didn't mind this. We were staying in one of the tree houses that meant you had to climb lots of stairs, and they really do take it out of you, not easy at all. But again, we didn't mind. The pool was very nice and the room was cleaned every day which was also good. I can see why this place isn't for everyone but we had a lovely stay here.

Good option on Phi Phi”
The walk to the hotel wasn't too bad, around 10-15 mins from the centre of town however, we counted around 100 steps from reception to our bungalow. These stairs are uneven and become a little sketchy at night so be careful. Room was alright, clean and comfortable. In terms of value, it's a pretty good option and I would definitely consider staying again as long as I was with others able to handle the stairs!

I think everything is great, the staff were friendly. The place is very strategic to those who dont like the noisy sounds from the clubs. JUST ONE THING!! Not really suitable for elder people, as there are FLIGHTS OF STAIRS you need to climb up (eventhough it’s good for your health) but not really suitable for the pregnant women or elder people. Overall i would recommend to my friends.

If you have a back problem this place is not for you. The mattress in the superior room was rock hard. The place is nice for about half the price that we paid. But I must mention that it was during Christmas. Very friendly staff.

Nice enough if you have a superior room. ”
This is not the place for you if you struggle to walk or are unsteady on your feet, my partner twisted his ankle climbing up the steps to the room, the steps to the rooms are dangerous, and need to be made safer. The breakfast is not worth getting up for its the same dry fried rice and scrambled egg everyday, there is a sign warning guests to eat all!! The staff were friendly to us but we heared one staff telling another guest she had to pay for breakfast 200 bhat before she ate and not after, she was quite stern with the poor woman who could have got a much higher quality of breakfast from anywhere else in town. The breakfast was not worth 200 bhat!!!! We stayed at this hotel a few years ago, the breakfast was made to order and was nice and fresh, I dont understand why they have changed this. The superior room was nice and had a movie channel in English, the room was made up every day and was very clean and the linen smelt clean and fresh.

OK for a budget but not ideal”
The location is poor, over a kilometre away from the pier and all Koh Phi Phi attractions are a fair distance away. The beds were extremely hard and one must pay extra to be able to use the air con in their room. Also, the proximity of the hotel to a sewage plant leads to an appalling smell at times. However, the staff are very nice and always willing to help and the pool is very nice.

So far from phi phi beach. If you don’t select your room than they will give you a upper hill cottage. Far up from the point of hotel center. Swimming pool is nice and the good things is the hotel is near from the view point .
