Nice Ocean View
Swimming pool, Beach, Diving
Raining day when we reached, take half hour long tail boat to the resort. But when there is sunshine, the life is so good, you can swimming in the sea, or the swimming pool. Lay on the beach, the life is so relax!

Go to the village
village, dive shop,
A great resort in the off season. Size of the place suggests it may be nuts during the year. Note that there is a nice little village behind with lots of tourist focused bars, restaurants, and services. It is cheaper than the resort, and so the resort in no way facilitates your finding this place. But to avoid the captive resort experience, it's a great outlet. Otherwise, the beach is great, food is good, and dive shop is friendly and professional.

Unclear on ferry and flight times
Location, beauty, tour
We were booked for 3 days and when we checked in they said we have to leave a day early due to the ferry schedule. We were not given any type of refund .... Very disappointed!!!

Great hotel with average service delivery
Bungalows, Location, Pool
This is a very nice hotel with great facilities. The pool(s) and the bungalows are outstanding. The location and view from the resort is very good, yet a bit remote. A boat is required to get to other places (200 Baht per person per transfer to Tonsai Bay). The staff is friendly but seems very inexperienced and misses attention to detail. Management and their interaction with staff or guests was not visible and could not be felt in the daily delivery of service. The employees (especially Supervisors) cannot speak English well enough to handle guest inquiries smoothly. The quality of food was good but not outstanding. Landscaping was very nice and the overall experience in this resort worth the money if one books a discounted rate via third party travel agencies like Agoda. The indicated rack rates would not be worth the service one receives. I suggest a USD 150 to 200 per day as the maximum rate for this hotel.

Isolated Relaxation
Beach Access, Pool, Views
Very relaxing stay and nice staff. We went with a 1 year old and there was a nice baby cot. Good breakfast and decent quality food, though not as good as behind the resort in the local village. Only issue is you need to book golf buggies to get to your room as they are far away from the lobby (mostly).

Lack of professionalism and tourist knowledge
Nice resort huts, beautiful private beach, away from the crowded party central pier, nice and quiet
Hotel stay: August 27-30, 2015 Paradise resort attended by hotel staff with attitude. It is such a shame that the resort has its own very beautiful private beach and nice resort huts, to have such rude and unknowledgeable staffs. They were grumpy at most time, as if with an attitude. The staffs were extremely unhelpful and they didn't communicate between departments (e.g. Simple as check out credit card payment procedures to taxi boats service enquiry would take a long time. We inquired about things to do or see around the island but staffs at the reception or activities centre were not able to provide any sorts of basic tourists info outside their hotel resort.) Only activities/facilities available on the resort were island tours (provided by external providers - excellent service), kayaking (2-hr complimentary with island tour package), a very nice beach (less crowded compared to central pier beach), a small gym, and a nice pool. Disappointing food quality and choices at the resort restaurants (there were three restaurants at the resort but one Thai restaurant was not opened due to low season). Taxi boat to and from the central pier is about 20min away from the resort and costs about THB800 one way (by hotel boat) or THB 1000-1200 by public taxi boat. I would recommend this resort only if you plan to stay on the resort premise and enjoy a nice and quiet ocean view by the private beach. The resort does offer a very nice and tranquil surrounding after all. For us, the quality of customer service does matter and it was the worst hotel service experience we've ever had.
