Located on the east coast of Phi Phi, Phi Phi Relax Beach Resort is in the local marine park on the beautiful Pak Nam Bay. With its ideal location, the resort offers a range of activities such as snorkeling and kayaking. Fishing trips and boat trips to the neighboring islands of Bamboo, Mosquito, as well as Phi Phi Leh can also be arranged. Positioned in the Marine National Park, you are in an excellent position to explore the abundant corals and fish. A PADI dive center is also available at the resort. The resort provides transfers to the Ton Sai Bay twice daily. For the more adventurous, there is a jungle walk which is well worth it for the stunning viewpoint. The resort's massage hut on the beach is an excellent getaway when you just need to relax and unwind. Guests can enjoy sipping a cocktail at the resort beach bar or sitting in a hammock overlooking in the stunning views of the Andaman Sea. Surrounded by tropical gardens, the bungalows are rustic and basic, but clean and with all the necessary amenities. Each bungalow comes with a private balcony with a day bed. Phi Phi Relax... Primitive perfection ”
Three nights stay in May. Facilities are basic but well maintained. No AC but has a floor fan to help keep you cool. Has mosquito netting over bed but we didn’t need it at all. Saw elsewhere stated power is turned off from 8 - 6 pm but power was never off while we were there. Food was soooo good. We ate too too much because menu is huge and we wanted to try multiple dishes at every meal ha ha! Everything we tried was tasty! Restaurant staff provided excellent service every time. Would recommend mosquito repellent on your feet for dinner however. ;-) Tip box in restaurant for staff. BE GENEROUS Walked to view point “3” I think. Beautiful view, worth the walk and recovery time ice cream at top. NOT for the faint of heart for sure, it’s a solid half hour up hill. Went snorkeling there, has live coral and a lot of beautiful and friendly fish. Do not go at low tide!! Not enough room to safely float over coral and sea urchins. Go and relax, it’s beautiful you won’t want to leave!
If you want to chill its the perfect place. It takes you 45 minutes to go to the "village" So think before bookink regarding what kind of Holliday you want. The staff is really kind. We had a wonderful stay
Amazing staff ”
I can’t say enough good things about the staff here! This is our second stay at the phi phi realx. We went with my husbands parents and I will go back again. It’s a relaxed laidback place. Don’t expect high end facilities but it doesn’t matter..... it’s a hidden jem.
Leonardo style hotel :)”
Great place to stay. No warm water and electricity during the day is not an issue if you stay here for 3 days. The staff were extremely friendly. Prices were almost the same as in the town. You can rent a snurkling mask there.
good, but a lot of baht spended for services that they HAD to be provided”
even if the place had no hot water, there wasn't a problem as the water wasn't cold. one negative thing is that the rooms don't have a fridge and every time you ask for a glass of ice at the bar or the restaurant they charge you 10 baht. that's funny! the worst thing is that you HAVE to pay 150 baht per person with a boat to get to the hotel for check in (cos the only way to reach the hotel is either from the sea or by walking an hour through a pathway in the jungle). You also have to pay 150 baht per person for going to the port from the hotel on check out as well. That's ridiculous... why do i have to pay you for coming to your hotel, if there ia no other way to come? except of that, everything else was fine... restaurant food, trips organised from the hotel (with extra charge), beach was really clean.
Only stay here if you truly lthis place has no air conditioning or any hot water and bad wifi”
No AC and no hot water and only one restaurant that closes at 9 with one guy that works there with an attitude problem. All the rest of the staff are very nice. If you want to take a boat to and from town where everything is it's 300 baht minimum for two people one way and if you don't go drink the only two times in the morning the prices shoot up to like $500 per person. This one guy that works at the restaurant is a total prick. he always rushes you to order and tells you that the restaurant is closed at 9 when it's supposed to be 10 because he wants to leave or something or have something better to do it seems. I tried to avoid this guy by sitting really far from his section and and he still came to my table and when I asked to keep the menu just to be able to order drinks he said no one took it away LOL. The rest of the staff are pretty nice. The Wi-Fi sucks and cuts in and out by crazy very questionable Wi-Fi. All in all it's a little bit relaxing if you just want to do nothing.
Wonderful location, and not very crowded, amazingly thoughtful staff!”
As soon as you land at Rassada Pier on Phi Phi you are instantly aware of how crowded the island is. But, just a short boat ride (provided by the hotel for 150 baht) and you’re on a private beach tucked away from all the craziness. The bungalows are absolutely adorable, with stellar views of the ocean. The beach is very clean, and only occupied by hotel stayers. The reefs are great for snorkeling as well. Food is also very good for a resort restaurant. My partner and I were also able to schedule 1-hour massages directly there! The thing that really inspired me most, though, was how the staff reacted when my partner and I suddenly came down with a stomach illness during our first day at the resort. The staff gave us both two sets of different medicines to take to settle the stomach and prevent bacterial infection. When we emerged the next morning everybody asked how we were feeling, and they gave us additional medicine to help us get through the next day. Amazing!!!
You won’t regret, excellent.”
This place is awesome, the bungalow was just perfect, big and clean, the shower could be better tough. You won’t find better staff anywhere, all smiling, all treating you very well. There is no electricity during day time I thought was going to be a bummer; Not for a second. You have everything that you need there, just make sure you choose the right time of the year to go. Only one downside WiFi is horrible.
Sorry, but was too hot, with all night working air propeller and wasn't hot water in the shower.
Beautiful place, paradise beach. We stayed 3 nights only, wish we could stay longer. The staff are lovely, hard working, made our stay just great.Thank you Nee,Mok and rest of the staff,I am sorry I cannot remember all names.
On the Quiet Side of the island”
One thing I did not realize when I booked this hotel is that it's on the opposite side of the island with only boat access (or an hour walk each way over the hill) to the main part of the island. I stayed in a bungalow on the beach but there is no hot water. It was good for the quiet experience but I personally would rather be on the side with all the shops and bars. This would be good for a couple or people that want seclusion.
Very friendly staff, especially the barkeepers ;). A beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the beach and the sun. It also was very quiet and clean. There was a boat at the Pier waiting for us to bring us to the Resort! Unfortunately was the restaurant a bit expensive and there were no alternatives. Also if you want to go to the main town, it took about 1h through the jungle, what was an adventure but still far away when you're hungry ;)
Amazing place, total relaxation!”
Great location away from the noisy crowded party places. You feel like you are staying in a jungle bungalow but it's also right on the beach. It's about a 45 minute hike through beautiful jungle into town so if you get bored you can go check out the beaches around town. The food at the restaurant was great and the service is quick. The staff are all very friendly as well. I didn't know it the first couple of days because the wind was blowing a little and the water in front of the place was rough and murky, but after it subsided, the snorkeling in front of the resort was on par or maybe even better than the snorkeling we paid money to do at phi phi lee on the long tail boats. Anyways, our stay there was amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again should I ever end up back in Phi Phi islands.
Nice place in the better side of the island”
If you are not keen to crazy-party 24/7, choose this place! A long-tail from pier takes you to quiet side of the island to enjoy delicious food and relaxing atmosphere. A hiking trail to jungle and viewing point starts from right behind your bungalow! Make sure you take water with you, sweating 100% guaranteed. ;)
Had an awesome stay”
Friendly and lovely staff and good food
Beautiful resort ”
The small beach , clear water and very green was the things I liked most also our bungalow was with sea view right on the beach was so charming. Room is basic , I liked the interior just what I wanted all woods and bamboo. Toilet and shower had opening , I wished had a door to the room instead of curtain because I thought an animal can get in the room while we were sleep . Nothing happend . No hot water for shower . No ,electricity between 8’am to 6 pm. Only Restaurant was nice with good waiters and good food. The long boat passing by was noisy. I loved the beautiful surroundings natures .
Thank you so much for your comment. We really appreciate and do apologize for any inconvenience during your stay. Hope to see you again in the future, take care. Kwan General Manager
The room was ok and clean. The bathroom is attached to your room but open, so make sure you are ok with bugs. The stairs to the Top View Bungalows are very steep. We had monkeys in front of our room in the morning. It was fun to stay. Good place for snorkeling. Staff is very very friendly. Food is great but costs a bit more because they have to bring the ingredients by boat. I recommend to take the long walk to the viewpoint. Takes about 40 minutes through the jungle. But it's worth it. There's a restaurant right at the viewpoint and the view is amazing.
Dear Mr. & Mrs., Greeting from Phi Phi Relax Beach Resort. Thank you so much for your kind review with us and we’ve appreciated to read and hear that. Have a nice day! Best regards, Phi Phi Relax Beach Resort
Amazing place!!!!! Bar on the beach with most amazing sunset! Menu is amazing and staff very friendly! Only one downside was that there are big rocks in the water on the beach.. so swimming wasnt as nice.. will definitely go there again!!!
Exotic location at the base of hills .. jungles above ”
if you are looking at getting away from the hustle bustle this is the place to be .. the power is provided through generators .. basic facilities in cottages .. good food at its restaurants & bar . since there was an issue with providing us the first line from sea cottage .. they were apologetic and provided vouchers for the bar, massage etc. finally though we did get the "first line cottage" as per what we had booked.
If you are looking for somewhere away from it all to relax then this is your place. Accessible only by boat, we spent 3 wonderful days relaxing and spending time on and in the water. We paid the extra to have a bungalow right on the beach and would recommend if you have the funds that you do this. If you are looking for action or night life then this isn't the place for you. Bring a book and your swimmers.
