WOW loved it all !!!!!!!!”
We flew from Heathrow to Phuket, had a short taxi journey to get on ferry to Ton Sai. When we arrived at Phi Phi Pier a man was waiting for us to take us to Phi Phi Villa Resort which was a short walk from Pier. Accommodation was lovely we were in Room 101 which was right on the beach. The room was lovely and catered for all our needs. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. Swimming pool was great overlooking the beach. Location was perfect as near to all bars and shops but was never noisy. Fab bar to go to opposite is called Carpe Diem as you can sit with a drink looking out to the sea watching the tail boats come in and some great music. We were here for 1 week and then moved onto Long Beach for a week. I would give this accommodation ten out of ten and will definitely return.
Greatly located with nice bungalows, great service”
i loved our stay on phi phi and phi phi villa was a big reason why. the resort is far enough from the loud nightlife but not too far to where we felt completely secluded either. the rooms and bungalows are really nicely laid out and decorated. we were very comfortable. the staff was very helpful and super nice. breakfast was included and was a good spread. across from the resort is their bar and restaurant were you could purchase food all day. this too was great and it is right in their own private beach access. the pool was also a bonus. it was great to be inthe pool facing the ocean! all in all we loved phi phi villa.
just pure perfection”
we were met off the boat at the harbour by a freindly face of a bell-boy who took our bags and chatted in broken english about the islan. upon check-in we were greated with a cool flannel and icey cold drink of orange juice, all was dealt with profession and efficiency, we were then taken to our villa by the bell-boy and shown how to work the safe shower etc, the pool was clean and the grounds imaculate being cared for by freindly staff. it's located just across the walkway from the beach and villa restuarant. the room was clean and has everything you need although a kettle would be nice as we're big tea/coffee drinkers but the cafe phi phi love is brilliant, run by an english lady with lots of knowledge of the island, you need to put out 'please clean my room' sign before 11am but unfortunaly our room was never cleaned before 4pm, small downside but didn't annout us. the island is very laid back and relaxing, great place to chill. breakfast what can i say the most freindliest staff and most delicous pancakes ever tasted, breakfasr room is clean and airy. my only problem is their english language is very limited and can be a little annoying when trying to find out things. would return tomorrow if i could.
you need to stay here!!! comfort & location”
we had very good luck picking hotels on our thailand vacation and phi phi villa resort was no exception. they had someone waiting for us once we got off the ferry and it was a 10min walk through "town" to the resort. the room was very nice. comfortable bed, decent bathroom and nice deck. 1 min walk to the best beach in phi phi (if you ask me) and across from the resort is a good beach bar with some good night life and fire-shows (horrible service at this bar, yet, we went back a good 3 or 4 times... location!). the concierge at the resort was extremely helpful and arranged everything from all of our snorkeling and logtails/taxi boat to our next hotel stay in ao nang (including ferry, hotel and taxi from hotel to airport the next day). perfect stay!
Definitely stay here if you're going to the Phi Phi's.”
Two of my sisters came to the Phi Phi's two weeks earlier and did not have great things to say about it based on the location of where they were staying - far walk from the ferry with their heavy bags with no cabs to help them out. They also stayed on a side of the island that was not accessible to a beach. I was apprehensive when I booked an overnight stay with my fiance, but the Phi Phi's ended up being the highlight of our trip to Thailand because of the resort. It is in a perfect location on the beach, close to town but far enough away from the noise, has it own private beach with a longboat parked that we rented for the day to take us to the surrounding islands, and has the cutest little bungalows. When we showed up to check in, I was shocked that we were staying a place so nice. The pictures do not do justice. Our biggest regret was not staying longer at this resort. Will recommend this resort to everyone going to the Phi Phi's.
Good Stay”
Overall our experience at the Phi Phi Villa was very good. A member of the staff was waiting for us when we got off the ferry (we didn't have this book this). The hotel is about a mile down the road from the pier and a bit outside of town. This was perfect because the town was walkable but far away enough that it was not too loud, as the parties on Phi Phi go all night. The hotel was right across the road from the beach, which allowed easy access. The hotel grounds were very nice, especially pool. The room was nice as well, we had a king bed, the largest since arriving in Thailand (4th hotel we stayed at). I have to take away points for the bathroom because it was very dark and the shower smelled pretty bad. It was a small price to pay for paradise though.
Lovely little bungalow by the sea”
We arrived on Phi Phi by passenger ferry from Phuket. Once on the island we had to pay 20baht each for the maintenance of the island. A guy was there to meet us and put our luggage in a carrier and we followed him through the little streets to our hotel. I didnt expect the streets to be so close together but it was lovely. We were welcomed with refreshments and then shown to our little bungalow. It was lovely and had everything we needed. We put our stuff in the room and headed straight out and walked up to the viewpoint at the top of the island-definately worth a trip for the views. We ate at a restaurant that night where seafood is really cheap and just amazing. So glad we visited Phi Phi and would recommend the hotel.
simple and comfortable hotel”
I spent two nights in Phi Phi Villa Resort, it is a villa type of hotel, my room just besides the beach of Ton Sai Bay, with great and unforgettable sea views. The room is quiet without any distubance and they would clean it every morning. I quite enjoy the day on the island and the hotel. Thanks for their service.
Beautiful place in a great location”
I really enjoyed stay at this place. It's on the side where the pier is but away from all the noisy. The little walk is worth as it's nice to have a quite place to relax and recharge after all Phi Phi Island is busy and there is always something happening. The pool was great with view to the beach. Simple but yummy breakfast. Staff are very polite and helpfully. I saw lots of review from people who stay in other places and complaint about cockroaches and I should say there are every where, even in the good hotels and that is because it's hot, humid and beach, you will find then everywhere in Thailand. Only complaint about this hotel is that wi-fi doesn't work in the rooms. Such a inconvenient as we pay a lot and they advertised wi-fi (but it does work well in the lobby and swimming pool area)
Fantastic Location and Friendly Staff”
we had 3 very enjoyable nights at the phi phi villa resort. the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. we stayed in the bungalows and they were ideal, clean and well maintained. the pool at the resort is excellent with great views of phi phi ley and only meters to the beach. breakfast was tasty. we would stay here again and recommend the resort to other travelers.
Perfect. 5 star in every way. ”
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Ph Phi Villa Resort for 4 nights and enjoyed every single one of them. The hotel is in the perfect location where it is quieter, more relaxing yet still only 5-10 minutes walk from the port and the centre of town and about 15minutes from the party beach where you can do fire skipping rope. There is an excellent selection of restaurants and bars in the area. The rooms are the perfect size and the beds are extremely comfortable. The staff are extremely useful and are always happy to help with just about anything. The pool and beach are gorgeous and the breakfast that was included was fantastic. We were blown away by the quality of the hotel, which claims to only be a 2 star resort, when it would definitely be a 4 or 5 star resort back home.
Quiet but close ;-) ”
This resort is on the quieter side of Phi Phi but in saying that it's still only a 10 min walk to the busier side. Most of the best restaurants and chilled out bars are on the same side as the resort and in fact only a 3-5 min walk. The bungalows are set in beautifully kept gardens and with absolutely no noise what so ever you are given the chance to completely relax whatever time of day you choose. There's a great swimming pool with views to the sea and breakfast is served quite literally on the beach overlooking the bay. If it's the best beaches your after then simply turn left walk a little and you'll find them soon enough. There are plenty hotels on Phi Phi and this resort is in the area where I've found out to be the best as far as quality and size goes, yes you can find loads of cheaper hotels/bungalows on Phi Phi if that's what your after but if your not travelling on a budget it's worth the little extra to chill out in style and enjoy the silence around you.
Good location ”
We have stayed on Phi Phi before and wanted the quieter side of the Island which this location gave us. There wa no one to meet us at the pier, we found out they only go at certain times a day to meet or drop off and there is no movement on times. It was a 15 minute wak after a local agent directed us and gave us a map. I specified we had booked a certain room and was delighted we got exactly what we paid for. Room 101 is a Villa overbooking the sea that sleeps 4 in two double beds and was perfect for us. It is a bit dated but the air con worked well as did the fridge and beds were as usual in Thailand hard but comfy. The pool was a good size but very warm! Not great to cool down but ok for a dip. There is extensive building work going on so not a peaceful spot if you are planning on spending days here. For us it was ok as we were there two nights and out all day. Breakfast was good, enough choice with eggs cooked to order. Overall it was good for the price for Phi Phi.
Well priced resort with everything you need”
Considering this was a more affordable resort on Phi Phi island, it was great value. There was a free luggage transport service to the resort from the ferry and same for the way out. We were greeted with cold towels and drinks. Pool towels were provided daily and so was a breakfast buffet - the pancakes are delicious. The villas are clean and provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hair dryer and a passcode-locked safe. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Exceptional”
We had a great time in Phi Phi Villa resort. Location is perfect, just 10 minutes walk from the Pier and 15 minutes from beautiful Long beach. Quiet at night and sweet porch for leisure in front of Villa. When you come to the Pier somebody from Hotel staff will wait you and drive your luggage to the hotel (and back on departure day), which is very helpful! Recommended!
Phi Phi Villa Resort”
Phi Phi Villa Resort is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are great and very clean. The pool is beautiful and the beach is right across from the hotel. The breakfast supplied was great. here was a problem with the lock on our door and the staff were friendly and helpful and replaced the lock straight away. I would definately recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, good location, clean”
After a deathly scary ferry ride from koh lanta it was a pleasant surprise to see staff from the resort there to greet us and take our bags upon arrival. I assume they greet all the ferries if they are expecting new arrivals and this was very nice. There are no cars on phi phi, so our bags were loaded onto a cart and we were lead the way to the resor, about a 10 min walk through town. Good service and welcome drinks on arrival. Super clean villa, however sea view was maybe a sliver of ocean if you really tried to see it, so don't bother upgrading to that. Great buffet breakfast with omelette bar and good selection of food. Within easy walk of all the hotspots but far enough that is quiet. Great ocean side restaurants and bars with cheap, delicious food located very close. Only major problem that we encountered is that there are no beach chairs!! I was looked at like I had three heads when I asked where I could find one and told to use a towel. This is amazing to me that ko phi phi is supposed to have some of the best beaches in the world, yet no where to sit to enjoy it! Ended up leaving after one night and relocated further down the line towards Long Beach (very nice beach area).
Phi Phi Villa - not Villians!”
Shortly after I booked this resort I read some unfavourable comments about it on the internet and I was terrified that we were going to have a horrible time. I am pleased to have this opportunity to say that our stay there was perfectly comfortable. Phi Phi Island is very expensive (for Thailand) and unless you want to pay about USD$400 per night then the Phi Phi Villa is a great option. I think the people who complained about the place perhaps need their creature comforts more than my partner and I. It's not luxury but it's bloody affordable comfort and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for simple digs close to the beach with friendly staff who speak enough English to get you by.
Lovely little bungalows and a beautiful stay”
the rooms are bungalow style and we really enjoyed our stay in them. the rooms were clean and spacious with air conditioning. since the tsumani, phi phi is still rebuilding, especially all the beachfront resorts and restaurants which were obliterated. with this, comes some minor issues such as plumbing and water, which are still affected. the water doesn't have great water pressure and the drains can be slow to drain water. the drains do have an odd odor about them, but in light of the tragedy a few years ago, this is easily forgiven. breakfast was nice and we found the staff very helpful.
