Value for money Great Location!!!”

I sooo loved my stay at Phlistay Myendong Metro, everything is so organized, very clean, perfect location, the staff is great, value for money.I will definitely recommend this place to eveyone.Dont expect a big room but just enough for everyone to stay and have a complete rest.I am very particular with the shower and restroom and the pillows and bedsheets and they passed all my expectations...I will definitely be back here..Book in advance because they are always full...

Good location and quiet ”

The hostel knew I was solo and arranged a room near to lobby. In fact it was my first solo, so it certainly make me feel safer. And convenient to the free flow water and kitchen. Stove is not available for use though. Its not really noisy eventhough my room is close to kitchen, there is a time limit 8am-10pm that we can use the microwave/washing machine. Room is small but sufficient for one pax (i booked double bed). Room service everyday. Breakfast was the same everyday though (toast, cornflakes,jam, butter cheese, ham, orange juice, milk) I get bored on my 3rd day and did not have breakfast there. Location is in the myeongdong street itself, but quieter row. Every night i sleep soundly, bed is on the hard side soft pillows. I get used to it on my second night. Staff always try to help whenever they can even if passed the reception hours. Iron can be provided upon request. Overall it was a really nice stay.

I’ve booked here for the second time. Good location and nice room. The owner/ boss was very nice that treated me soft drink when I checked out. It touched me that I would definitely book for the third time.

The location near with shopping place. A lot of restaurants shop around. just a bit difficult to find. Personally, feel enjoy when I was there. But room very small. Only can fit 1 medium size luggage.

Cozy Stay in Myeongdong”

We booked the room for our 10 days trip. The location is near to Myeongdong Station Exit 8 & near to Airport Bus stop. Staff were helpful & lent us clean bathe towels as we did not brought ours. Everyday we returned back to the room with neatly arranged bed & toilet. Room size is not very spacious as we 2 big luggages. One was tucked under the bed, while the other was half opened leaning against the wall. We have to open one luggage at a time, otherwise no walking space left.

Very friendly staff”

Second time staying in this lovely hotel. The staff are all very nice and they upgarded my room ! After early check in i put my luggage at the luggage area and when i got back the staff already put my luggage ib the room. I was so impressed by that! Thank you! Will stay there again when i go to Seoul !

Superb Services”

Location was very well located , room was a bit small but it's fine Staff was extremely helpful , needed some documents printed out urgently and they were able to assist me in getting it printed out and placed it in my room while I was away . 10/10 Recommended . Didn't know there was a 20000 won early check in fee until I arrive but it's all good . This accommodation is highly recommended for solo travelers like me .

Good location and very clean room”

The location is good, less than 2 to 3 mins walk to either Myeongdeong or Ejio 1 mrt. Amenties just down the hostel with great food like Issac Toast. The room is well maintain and clean. Although the room and toilet is small but you get what you paid for. The staff is friendly and there is no difficulty checking in or out. I will definetly go back to stay if I visit Seoul again.

Did not regret booking this hotel! It was the perfect location in the heart of myeongdong and near the bus stop going to the airport! The staff even helped us with our luggage downstairs! Thank you philstay for a pleasant stay!

Good location”

The hotel is located on 5th floor of a building. Might not be obvious from ground floor The room is a bit small but only for sleeping so is ok. Simple breakfast of bread milk coffee milk available Overall room is clean will go back again

Value for Money with Fantastic Location”

A lot of thought went into Philstay. Their hotels are concentrated in Myeongdong right on top of the action with the subway within 200m. The rooms are efficient to keep rates down. This is a great business model and Jason is a fantastic guy.

In the center of Myeongdong”

The room is small but clean, location is good, which is in the middle of Myeongdong. Very simple breakfast and got a small kitchen for you to use it. The guest house is at 5th floor and got lift to go up.

Sufficient ”

This is my first time staying in a hostel. If you want a reasonably priced place in the heart of Myeongdong (one of the most expensive area to live in) this is the place. The hostel is very new, clean and comfortable. I stayed in a Double Room which is small but the space is sufficient for a solo traveler like me. The bed is a bit hard but it was fine for me. Breakfast was basic and same daily but if you want to save a meal then it serves it's purpose. The hosts are a nice couple who is very accommodating and friendly. Usually hostels don't clean your room but this one empties our garbage and change our towels daily. The only con I can think of is the sound insulation. The hostel is small and walls are thin. So if you're a light sleeper like me you might want to think twice. Other than that this is a great place to stay for it's location too. It's pretty near to Myeongdong Station Exit 8 which is where the Airport Limousine Bus stop is located.

I love the tidiness and the setting of the place. Surprised to have breakfast provided! Staffs are generous and kind. You will even get farewell drink at your checkout! Location is perfect and made us easy to travel around!

LOCATION & STAFF VERY GOOD”

The room is quite small but it is very clean and comfortable, washing machine is free for first time use, breakfast cereal and bread. Coffee available for 24/7, hotel is located in myeongdong it can be found easily, shopping and food hunting are super convenient.

Location is very good. Clean hotel. Water /coffee/tea is available. Staff are friendly. Mr. JS Jung helped me call an travel tour for my trip. Mr. JS Jung is very accommodating, kind and nice. He speaks English well too. I spent 7 days here. The hotel is new. And they clean everyday. If i will go back to Seoul, for sure i will book again here. Excellent choice. Great value for money.

Good location , helpful staff”

Philstay myeongdong metro is located right in the middle of Myeongdong. There are plenty of food options nearby. Train station is just a 3 minutes walk. The owner is very helpful, even provided a clothes rack for me to hang my clothes.

Good location, relatively small room”

It is located right in the myeongdong district which was convenient for food and it is also very close to the train station and airport bus. However, the room was quite small and difficult to open your luggage in the room itself. They allow you to store your luggage outside though which was good for us as we had a big box of goodies. Overall a nice stay and staff was friendly.
