Excellent value for money”

I stayed at the Phoenix Grand for 4 nights, had a very enjoyable stay the hotel is very clean, beds are hard but that is okay with me. Everything you need is close by only a short walk to the action of Bangla Road. I will stay at the hotel again when I return to Patong next year.

Different hotel check in on 23/12”

On 23/12/17, We were supposed to check in to the hotel for our 3 nights stay. Arriving at time about 9.30pm, to our dismay, we were being informed by the hotel receptionist that we could not check in to our room due to some electricity malfunctioning that affects the entire hotel building. We were being allocated to another hotel, Mirage Hotel which was within 3 mins walk from The Phoenix Grand. The hotel room was smaller than what we had expected when we booked for the Phoenix. And we are not pleased with the cleanliness in there too. We had a poor sleep and ought to check out at 12pm the next day in order to move back to Phoenix and make ways for mirage hotel-goers. We are asking for a compensation now for a night that we did not manage to spend in Phoenix Grand hotel. In addition, the hotel we booked is a 3.5 stars recognition in contrast to Mirage which is only 3 stars. We paid for Phoenix Grand Hotel was almost 30% more than Mirage. Good location”

Phoenix grand hotel has got a good location in the Patong area. Everything nearby, mini mart (just down), Jungcelon Mall (5 mins walk), Patong Street/Patong Beach (10 mins walk). Good restaurants & shopping area nearby. Breakfast is okok, we were family of Indian vegeratian, so had very limited/rare options. All over spread is not huge, but yeah can have a couple of choices. Hotel rooms are spacious enough, but during the night light is very dim, not enough also. Cleanliness ok, a sink is having issues for all 3 rooms we booked. Bathroom shower good (hot & good pressure). For the price we paid for the hotel, I think it was a decent hotel to manage things.

Convenient Spot ”

Phoenix is a good hotel if you are looking for convenience. It is in walking distance of everything in Patong. The rooms are nice (AC, cable TV, small fridge) and decent wifi. It reminds me of a nice college/university dorm. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great value for your money. I've stayed here many times and plan on returning. It not a luxury hotel but has what you need if you want to have fun in Patong.

New Hotel. Cheap Price”

So this review is a little late...almost one year to be exact. This hotel was brand new and not completely done being constructed. It was really modern and clean, which is something I prefer. The price was a steal at the time, but I think prices have went up since I stayed there. It's a great location. Patong can be kind of loud and crazy at night so I felt it was far enough and close enough to see everything or escape everything.

Phoenix, but not grand!”

Phoenix Grand Hotel is anything but ' grand'. Stayed with my wife and a friend couple. The hotel was still under construction or was going through refurbishment. We were asked to walk 15 minutes to another hotel for breakfast since the restaurant was not yet functional. Rooms had limited amenities which did not include even a box of tissues! The price was good though for the location. Perhaps the only reason I would recommend for a friend looking for a low cost hotel in the heart of Patong excitement.

Great Place. Great Location. Great Price”

It is literally a few roads from Bangla Road. It's also really close to Juncgelyon mall. There are lots of great places to eat! Make sure you bring your own wash cloths, also give the 500 baht deposit for the extra key so that you can keep your air running all day. It's nothing worse than coming back to a hot room. Other than that we loved our stay at the Phoenix💖

Best location + awesome room”

Might be that the hotel is very new, everything is very nice. The location is near enough to soi bangla and patong beach, but far enough to not get the noise pollution. Cheap food can be found if you walk down the street from the hotel to the main road and turn left. On the left is some awesome cheap street food. Bad thing was when i lost my keycard one night. Most places would just replace it, but they charged me 500baht for it, almost the price of 1 night at that place. The staff on duty wasn't happy doing it and didn't even activate the card to open the door.

Good Value for Money”

Overall, I had a pretty good stay. LOCATION Super-conveniently located at Sai Kor Road, just 5mins walk to Banzaan Fresh Market/Night Market and Jung Ceylon Mall, and 10mins to Bangla Road madness and the main throng of the beach. You can never get bored by experienced taxi and tourist touts. HOTEL/FACILITIES Poorly built and finished, even though the initial ID was definitely grand---modern industrial look, open-plan lobby/restaurant/kitchen, glass elevators, open-room, rain shower, wading pool... Felt like the hotel opened for revenue before it's time because the business needed funds to finish their vision. For the price I paid, my room was bigger than I needed, front-facing and relatively clean with a large balcony. Room well-serviced by a team daily. In-room Wi-Fi broadband was fairly decent as it should be. BREAKFAST Sufficient, modest Asian and western spread for the breakfast buffet. Much better than I had expected---value for money. (BTW, it doesn't cost a cent to offer smiles and thanks to the morning waiting staff and chef, which make their day and your next visit to breakfast free of spit.) 😂 RECEPTION If you were an unreasonably demanding, rude, loud and obnoxious customer, you'd be expecting a real-person, scorned, defensive receptionist or staff no less. Though I had no exceptional experience, receptionist and staff were polite and helpful, even though their English could be better. You are in Thailand---so be respectful, and go learn some conversational Thai to make decent communication. Overall, I had a good, stressless and comfortable 3-night stay at this hotel. I'd say for the low price, I was offered a more than expected standard of hotel accommodation and service.

Nice design and new ”

We booked for 3 rooms and stayed 2 nights here, we loved the hotel, the room is spacious, it is so new and clean. The roof top swimming pool is so beautiful during the sunset time. Very Closed to Junceylon and Bangla Road. Overall, we would recommend this hotel for those who likes to go around Patong area, very convenient.

value of money, awesome location”

room balcony lacks a chair, theres a safety hazard (barrier) in the middle of swimming pool, other than that all is good! awesome location, 5mins left to baazaan(street food)/jungcelylon mall, abt 8mins to bangla street, 12mins en route to patong beach, what more do u want for the price paid! awesome and satisfied... room is new clean big safe and quiet and thats what u want after a hard day tour although the reception service can be improved further! (more polite please, have met more polite thai people in phuket than the people at the reception especially coming from the service industry myself! )

Est value for your money”

The Hotel is nearly new, located at the dead end of a small street, maybe 250 meter to the Bangla Road. I have been there for 3 times in this year and will very sure return. It is quiet, spacious rooms, a balcony, LC D TV, a fridge,a roof pool and a nice little bath. The staff is kind and professionel. Only a few small problems: there is not enough light in the bathroom, the matress is hard and the safe in the room is an old model. But - I paid around 20 Dollar and for that price it's a fantastic offer and a real good value for the money !

Can't go wrong ”

Stayed here for two weeks. Had a spacious room with everything I needed. Close to everything with convenience stores at your doorstep and Jungceylon across the road. Bangla Rd just a five minute walk. Despite what others have said I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I guess they perhaps have to deal with alot of whining and demanding tourists so that would be enough to dampen anybody's demeanor at times. Will definitely stay here again.

Value for money and nearby everything”

This hotel is really value for money and have a very best location nearby everything. We stayed in 2 different hotels in Phuket and the breakfast of this hotel is the best. We have the breakfast just next to the lobby of the hotel, no need to another building. Also, we have 2 chairs in our balcony. Anyway, everything is good, we are happy and like this hotel.

Great price for the quality of the hotel. Helpful staff. Clean rooms. The only compliant is there were no chairs in my room and on the balcony. But, as this is a new hotel I am sure there will be chairs add in the near future. But 100% I would stay here again.

Excellent”

First night was horrible. The air con was broke down and we have to change room in the middle of the night! Staff speaks very limited English. Room was equipped with mini fridge and balcony. Location was great, next to Banzaai street food market, and 800m to Patong beach.
