Good”

If you want to relax and away from the crowd, i recommend Phoenix Jeju. The location is on the top of a cliff with a good view of the ocean. Downside is that you don't have a lot of choices for eating. You need to drive back to town for that. The room was big even with 2 bathrooms. It was clean however, you have to bring your own toothbrush/toothpaste. The walk to the glasshouse and lighthouse was very nice and both places offers great view of the Sunrise Peak from afar. Overall, if you want to relax and enjoy the resort, I would recommend this resort.

Fantastic apartment style hotel”

Plenty of room, concierge especially helpful for non Korean speaking travelers

All restaurants in Jeju are incredibly expensive. This is n excellent hotel because it has a kitchen and a family mart on the first floor. I would recommend bringing your own groceries - if you can. Also, eat the buffet breakfast early as kids (and some adults!?!?) put their hands in the food

beautiful hotel”

Excellent location near to seongsan ilchubong

Beautiful setting on an attraction itself. Rooms were big and designed for bigger groups/ families. Location also about 10 - 15 minutes drive away from Sunrise Peak (Seongsan ilchubong). Staff were friendly and helpful.

Trying but falling short”

Great for a non-tourist family to relax in a secluded area

1. Great price for a decently-sized suite for a family of 4 2. Location, layout, facilities all suggest an upscale intent; maintenance quality and the crowd don't live up to that intent, likely due to the disproportionate appeal to budget-conscious families with kids 3. Location remote. It is a tourist hot spot but away from everything else. For good food or other activities, you either need to drive 1hr to Jeju city or 1hr to SeoGuiPo city. Hence, great if you are trying to getaway; bad if you are a tourist or are planning on an active vacation 4. Brunch was great, considering that it is included in the price.

Special experience”

Near to beautiful scenary, interesting modes of transport for exploration, gift shop at affordable pricings

It is pretty interesting to live in an 'island'. In Phoenix Island, there is pretty seaview and vendors that caters different modes of transport to explore the area - eg. horse carriages. However, it is not a pleasant thing that there is no free wifi in the island. Also, it is far away from the seafood area and we had to take 1.5hrs of cab ride yet was recommended a lousy seafood buffet by the hotel staffs. This is indeecd a regret for my Korea trip.

Great location , good for long stays”

Big resort with all the conveniences in one place

this resort is in perfect location to explore the east side of jeju. it has a convenience store and atm. breakfast is very good, lots of choice for every taste. rooms are apartment-like, it is more like a vacation property, there are no toiletries in rooms, everything else is perfect for a long stay.

Great location and room”

Beautiful island

The environment of the hotel is great with a beautiful sea surrounding! The room is large enough to house 6 person with 1 master room in double bed and 2 single bed at the living room. The only problem is that the service is not very good and like a bit hostel. A little bit disappointed on the quality and variety of the breakfast. Recommend to be here for sightseeing! The phone no. in agoda website could not lead you to the hotel by GPS so that you need to locate it in the map.

Beautiful location but unsatisfactory stay”

Location, location, location.

Sad to say, I have nothing positive to comment about this hotel other than the location it was at - which is Phoenix Island, a natural wonder. The exterior of the hotel was quite magnificent. But the interior failed to live up to the impression set by the exterior. Furniture was old and many things that you would expect to be found within a hotel room was 'missing'. Towels and toiletries were not provided - and when I called room service to enquire about this, they responded by saying that towels will only be provided upon request and that toiletries are chargeable! It doesn't stop there, even room service was chargeable! So in the 3 nights that we stayed in the hotel, the rooms were not made up. Why would we pay extra? We've paid quite a hefty sum for the room already. So you guys have been warned.

Lovely place”

Well located. Surrounded by beautiful scenery

all was good except that air con was disabled during the period that i was there. i believe they were trying to cut cost as it was a pretty cold period. however, ventilation from inside the room isn't good without air con. also, they do not provide free wifi, bath soap and shampoo. for an hotel this expensive, it was rather surprising and disappointing.

Spacious Room but lacking of service”

Spacious, good location and the sighseeing within the hotel proximity (Seopjikoji area)

Spacious hotel which is good for family as they have 2 rooms with kitchen in a unit. However, for the price we paid, the room doesn't comes with at least the basic of toiletries. Also, the customer service mentioned that they will clean the room 3days once however, my trip was 5days 4 nights and there weren't any room service cleaning done.

The view is great and it suits a family of 4!”

great location

It is great in the sense of clean and tidiness. The room is called the suite and it really suits 4 people because it is really spacious! It was written in the Agoda voucher that breakfast was included. But the staff kept saying that breakfast has to be paid. They finally gave us coupons for breakfast. However, the staff still have some difficulty communicating in English and it really took some time in clarifying that out. And you really have to bring all the personal stuff including soap, shampoo, toothbrush and tooth paste. It only provides towels.

Spacious room; sufficient choices for buffet breakfast; good surrounding environment

Nice but hotel should allow one family with even 4 members like us to stay in the room which in fact our family stayed leaving the other room booked unoccupied so that we could stay together.

Wait until after Covid”

My family and I recently stayed with our young children, and the resort is nice, the staff are kind, and they did their best to accommodate as much as possible considering the government restrictions...but the whole experience (and the value for the money) would have been a lot better without the covid safety requirements. I realize the resort can't control the government, and we will happily stay there again after life returns to normal.
