Nice location and nice staff”
The rooms have nice wooden vintage look and its near river. You always have a beautiful view of river and mountain. The hospitality by the staff is great. Almost everyone understands English here. The owner also has two beautiful kids. We had celebrated our diwali in Coco riverside. The manager helped us in pickup and drop off to the bus stop. He also helped us in visiting Phong Nha k bang national park through a tour operator at very reasonable price. The tour operator came to pick up from our hotel and it was worth visiting. I would defintely recommend this place to people who are visiting Phomg Nha.

This was the most amazing Homestay. The views out my window were stunning! The family were so amazing and kind and friendly and were willing to help out with anything you need like tours to the caves or a transfer to Dong Hoi. They also have a restaurant on site with delicious food. This is a must stay! 5 stars for everything. I loved it so much I’m going to stay here again next year!

The room with the balcony looking out the river and mountain is mesmerizing. We love it so much we didnt go out the first day. Quiet and beautiful. The staff was helpful. Perfect location. Cons: - issue with hot water sometimes (not enough if you take long shower)

San and Hung were very nice and hospitable with helping me in booking tours, transport! Room was simple and good enough for a good sleep, equipped with air conditioning and hair dryer as well as en suite bathroom. Clean room! Very nice view of the mountains and the river! Sad that I had to leave earlier due to the typhoon but will definitely come back to stay again!

Poor management ”
We were only staying for half a day and even then we were not given early check-in. Since we were leaving the same day the host should have given us dinner instead of breakfast the next day, but we did not get the same. The homestay also charges 3% even for debit cards which is unfair.

Dear Anupama, We want to clear something for you. The first: you could not do early check in, because the check in time is 2 o’clock, and the the check out time is 12 o’clock. and the time you came was 11 o’clock,the people not did the check out yet .but after the people did the check out , we was trying to clean as soon as possible to help you do early check in . Do You remember that, we let you did check in at 12 o’clock, you did not say thank you , inversely, you upraid with us. The seconds: The room price is not included dinner, so funny that you want to have free dinner, you say instead of breakfast but the menu for breakfast and dinner are definitely different. The thirds: We already told you that, you have pay more 3% for banking fee if you pay by card, if you do not want then you can pay by cash, and the ATM is close from out home, but you want to pay by credit card, that is your choice . Anyway, Thanks so much for chosen us to stay with, hope you have more experience on
Spectacular setting with great hosts!”
Hosts were very welcoming and even got up at 4am to let us in from the night bus and accommodate an early check in. The breakfast was nice as was the food available for lunch and dinner. They provided great recommendations for local places such as where to get a SIM card and a lunch place nearby when they were unable to serve lunch. We made use of the bicycles and paddle board available and they rented us a motorbike to get around the area. The room could have done with a fridge to keep water cold and the air conditioning was fine but struggled to cool the room down quickly, however it was particularly hot during our stay (40 degrees). The river is right outside the property and it was a lovely experience to paddle board just a few steps from the property.

Best view rooms if you choose the right one. Honestly booked this because we got only one room in funny monkeys. I would say I liked this place much better. They are similar but this much more value for money. And the room with a view comes at far decent price.

Room is very clean and spacious, soft comfy bed, strong wi-fi, have hot water, free breakfast. Everything is perfect here. Run by a lovely family, they do everything so well. The view to the river is amazing. Highly recommend!

The best homestay in Phong Nha ”
We came here 3 times in the past year. Located in the centre, close to all of the restaurants and shops. Friendly staffs, they do have lunch and dinner which is very nice. Free yummy breakfast, clean room, comfy bed, hot water and wifi, and they have the spectacular views to the river. Can't ask for anything more!

Awesome Homestay ”
Phong NHA Coco Riverside is an excellent homestay . Its location is nice as It is far away from hustle and bustle of the city. The Mountain and Riverside view from our room was awesome. The staff was Courteous and very helpful. The Hotel also provides facilities to book tour to nearby places as well. Good enough for vegetarian people as well. I would recommended everyone to book this homestay for their trip to Phong NHA.
