Hospitality in Luang Namtha”
The bungalows are situated in a very nice garden. Sitting in the morning on the little terrace and watching the sunrise was great. The family who owns the resort is living nearby and very friendly and supportive. There is a night market not far away from Phou Lu III Bungalow, delicious food!

Lovely big bungalow.”
Sper-sized bungalow where you have room to turn round, table and chairs plus a terrace overlooking the garden. Normally calm, you do get a bit of music, but it was finished at 22h00. 200 metres from the river where a bamboo bridge takes you over to a small village. The resort IS a bit off the beaten track from town but if you can't walk 600 metres you shouldn't be in Luang Nam Tha anyway.

best place in Luang Namtha!!”
this was the best place I stayed on my trip to laos! It was a phenomenal room with a lovely deck and just a huge room! It's about a little bit out of town off the main road but well worth the 2-3 minute walk to stay here! It's one of those hotel rooms you just want to hang out in all day. The staff for a quiet but a tentativeI think everyone should experience this place!

Bleak”
Well, lets see. I had a VERY large double room lit by two 60 watt bulbs. Couldn't even read. Furniture was "hand crafted" but not comfortable. The breakfast was good - until I got diarrhea while on the bus about two hours later and barely made it to a private area. The owner agreed to take me to the bus station [out on the highway - about 15 minutes away] but instead took me to a vacant lot in town saying the bus would come. No one else was there. I finally got him to take me to the bus station in town. The bungalow is about a 10 minute walk, in the dark on roads filled with pot holes - but I did find very good pizzeria there. The bungalow has neighbors with dogs that entertained me much of the night. Sad to say I would not recommend Phou Lu III bungalow

the staff is unmotivated. we had to help him first to kove the matraze out of the room,. he told us after showing the, we can stay here one night, next day we hade to move to another room. we insisted on stay in the same room for 3 nights as booked by agoda. this hotel need another management.

Terrible management”
Terrible. We loved the concept, the gardens were lovely, rooms were large, but two things really spoiled our stay. The main one was the noise. We chose this hotel because it was away from the center of town and hoped for some quiet. However, it is next door to a beer garden with I credibly loud outdoor music. When we asked àbout it we were assured it would be over by six, then by nine, finally by midnight it got quiet. When we asked about the noise the next morning, one staff member said it was a new house party, and another said a wedding. A departing quest laughed and said it was the nightly noise of the beer garden. We hate being lied to. Also, all the staff were surly and unhelpful. We never got a greeting or a smile. This is a real shame. The area was lovely, the rooms large, and we had hoped to spend a week or more relaxing. We gave up after a couple of nights. We had the same experience at their other hotel in Muang Sing. Everything good, but a disco next door, surly staff, no room cleaning... These hotels need new management.

Lovely big bungalow with a nice terrace. Nice staff on arrival who spoke great English and gave lots of help and advice. Looks like they have a pool but it was out of action when we went (wasn't cleaned). Breakfast was reasonably and it was well located. Maybe a tad too expensive for what it is but still a nice stay.

The staff is amazing and everything is super clean. Confortables beds. Only notes is that there is a bar nearby with very loud music. This is of course not faults of the hotel. And can be solved by bringing earplugs

Quiet location, close to the center. Nice spacious bungalows. Great breakfast. And a very helpful host. One point of improvement could be the cleaning but that is not a big issue.

Bungalow option close to town centre ”
Spacious bungalow in garden surrounding within ten mins walk of town centre. Decent breakfast included. My bungalow had several mice running around at night eating my soap and toothpaste, otherwise an OK place to stay.

Sad to say I don’t recommend ”
The people who run this place are so lovely, very very nice and welcoming. But there are some things about this place that make it unpleasant, some that are maybe out of their control, others not. Like many businesses they maybe suffered a huge setback during Covid and are trying to get back in their feet. The good: the rooms are large, have a nice little porch to sit on, and are in a nice garden. Although mine was next to the garden wall and I could hear everything going on next door. The not so good: the bungalows are doubles, so one bungalow, two separate rooms. The walls are so thin that you can hear EVERYTHING going on next door. If you’re lucky and have quiet neighbours, great. But if you have neighbours that talk loudly till late, not so good. I could also hear all the intimacy between my neighbours, which was excruciating. It’s also slap bang in the middle of a neighbourhood, so you hear the radio blasting from 6am, the roosters, the dogs, the kareoke, everything. The beds are a bit past it, I could feel the springs digging in, and the bathrooms are meh. Not much hot water. There doesn’t seem to be a daily clean. It’s sad, but I have to warn you, my stay was not pleasant.

The properties has seen better days, probably before Covid. The room is gigantic but not very clean. Staff is very nice and helpful. Music from nearby bar is insanely loud until late at night.
