Best in Vang Vieng”
This is a place where you want to be when in Vang Vieng. The backdrop view of the hotel with the pinnacle limestone and rice paddy is just amazing. Every room has air conditioning except the one with the main lobby that sleep 8 people. Be aware that it is located on top floor and has kitchen next to it at ground floor so sometime you might be able to smell the food cooing. Overall, very pleasant experience and would love to go back!

The resort is a little far from the town central, which is about 8-10km away. We have check with the mini van driver and tuk-tuk driver which claimed that the location is too far and refuse to take us. Luckily we got our way to call the resort and found out that we need to check in at one of their hotel in town and then transfer to the resort with their free shuttle service (This was not mentioned in booking details, so we were quite a lost to make our way there!!) Anyway, we finally meet the Mr. Owner, nice guy, friendly, helpful, and English speaking. He shows us where to explore, how to rent motorcycle and where to go about. Thank you to Mr. Owner, we have great time go round vangvieng. The staffs are helpful but difficult to communicate with. Scenery of the resort is awesome!! We had our breakfast and enjoying the view of paddy field and mountain. We would recommend you to stay a little long time to relax and enjoy the scenery there. We definitely will come back again.

Swiss chalet in a pine Forrest on top of a hill.”
We loved our 3 nights here, this hotel is on a hill overlooking phonsavan so suggest a Tuk Tuk to get you here from the town if you have bags, otherwise it's only a 25 min walk into town ,so unlike other reviewers we walked in and out with no problem. They are little wooden chalets, with a sitting area which has the fireplace and the staff will give you as much wood as you want for no charge, and even light the fire for you. We loved this, every night when we got back from town after dinner, to sit next to a real fire reading a book in what is best described as a Swiss chalet on a hill..the dogs are super friendly ( and numerous) and will walk around with you if you walk in the Forrest, they know the best paths! The breakfast is one of the best in Laos. Can't recommend this place enough, you will love it if your not to fat and unfit. Don't mind walking. Or have your own transport. The two young lads who seemed to be running the place where fantastic and couldn't do enough for you..great place to stay.

Nice place but a bit far”
The resort is located in remote area which is far from the city. Environment is quite. View is great. The owner takes care of us so well. The only problem is that the resort is in very far from the city which you need shuttle bus from the hotel that is not available 24/7. So if you want to party in the city until late night, you will need to think about how to get back to hotel.

Nice place to relax. Super friendly staffs. Delicious dinner. Little noise from the the main road but very convenient to access. The resort also provide free transportation to the city all day until late at night. WiFi also working alright. Love everything. Will go back again!

The bamboo house need to upgrade with a good one. Now there is a lot of insects and drop down from the bamboo ceiling. So we feel scare of insects to bite us. If more develop than now, it's a nice place to stay peacefully with family or group.

It’s not a peaceful and comfortable stay. Couldn’t sleep at all near the roadside, where more than normal semi trucks and train honking dozed through all hours of the night. The door also doesn’t latch close and no one told us and when we asked how to keep our things locked, they just said it’s safe don’t worry 😬🤷🏻♀️. For $75 it was not worth it. It’s cute and the staff are kind though. Will not be staying here again.

Positiv: schöne Anlage mit wundervollen Blick auf Reisfelder und Berge, mobiles Wifi, Shuttleservice klappt Negativ: überteuert 90€ pro Nacht, Service auf Niceau eines hostels oder darunter: z.B. Checkin nicht vorhanden, Zummer wurde gezeigt, jedoch Schlüssel nicht übergeben, keine Infos über wifi, shuttleservice oder Frühstück... einholend der Infos nicht möglich, da Personal kein Englisch spricht. Personal hängt herum und schaut fernseh. Erst Infos bekommen, als der Chef kam, der jedoch vorallem ein Hostel in der Stadt führt. Frühstück auf Hostel-Niveau: Rührei und trockenes Baguette mit einem Stück Butter und Marmelade, Kaffee/Tee zum selberholen, Fruchtsaft kostet extra! Bestellung anderer Sachen aufgrund kein Englisch nicht möglich. Sauberkeit: Ok, Klimaanlage war lange nicht in Betrieb, bei anstellen, kam ein’ges an Getier und dreck mit. Buchungsservice: vor Ort nicht vorhanden, alles muss über das Hostel in der Stadt organisiert werden. Insgesamt weit überteuert!
