Close to nature with comfort”
Khun Bo the owner built 8 rooms for guests who seek peaceful and quiet place maybe for reading, spending time with themselves. She grew rice for the view and rooms facing a shallow lake where you can take a boat out with self paddling. Hotel is located in center of Hod town a small town 2 hr away from Chiang Mai. I went to Doi inthanon and this place suited me well.

Beautiful stay in the countryside”
Stopped here while doing the Mae Hong Son loop. The view from the room is exceptional. Very quiet place that is close to nature. A lot of beautiful birds that are just mesmerising to watch. Sunset and sunrise were amazing. The room was simple but clean, comfortable, cozy and spacious, and extremely well thought out. Great use of up-cycled materials. Highly recommended as a getaway from the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was excellent. Restaurants and convenience stores are nearby as well. Recommended to have a motorbike/car to get around.

Basic rooms but you come for the view and the wildlife. Rooms are shabby chic there is no food onsite except for breakfast but plenty of places within 10 minutes walk

Budget hotel with a million-dollar view”
A nice and peaceful hotel with an amazing view. Lovely breakfast, and a small cafe to sip coffee while enjoying the view.

Simple and genuine ”
Simple stay when you visit Hod district ! The building has only 8 rooms ; 4 on each floor. Every room has its own little balcony overlooking the pond with mountains in the background, lovely. The northern breakfast they offer is very nice - they can prepare it in vegetarian as well. Everything is as photographed, nothing less. Expect nothing extravagant and enjoy its tranquility !

Charming location”
The sheer location seeing the mountains and the river, makes this place breathtaking. The old world charm leaves you with a cozy feeling. the only downside if you are a foreigner with very specific food requirements, you will not find a restaurant that suits those needs. The location of this place is closer to local food; soup and noodle shops. we wanted a serene location and this was the answer for us!!!

Loved it!”
We were just looking for a place to stay near Ob Luang park, but Phu Anna turned out to be an attraction in itself. It is a small hotel with only 8 rooms and a few staff. The atmosphere is charming and peaceful, with a beautiful mountain view. I enjoyed paddling around the pond in one of their small flat-bottom boats and meeting their pet water buffalos. For breakfast, you can choose between American breakfast and Northern Thai breakfast. I highly recommend the Northern Thai breakfast. There was sticky rice, fried chicken, fried pork, steamed vegetables, chili paste, and some sort of custard. Delightful!

Great, homely, quiet place set in nature. ”
I was on the first night of my road trip around the Mae Hong Son loop. The location of this place is delightful, overlooking a lake, farmland and mountains. The sound of birds, insects and frogs is so soothing. The rooms are designed in a lovely, rustic manner, that makes you feel at home, like living in your dream farmhouse. The staff are friendly and efficient. For breakfast, I opted for the traditional North Thai breakfast... what a feast!! I am a big eater, but I struggled to finished it. Well worth a try!! There is no restaurant at the guest house for other meals, but it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the nearby 'town', where you can find some restaurants and convenience stores (7 Eleven is never far away in Thailand). I really loved my stay here. Had I not have been on a tight schedule ( I had 1000km to drive in the next few days), then I would have stayed at this guest house for a couple more nights. Take a good book, relax and enjoy your stay here if you like peace & nature.

WOW. Very nice hotel with GREAT view and most friendly owner”
Highly recommended. Staff in all Thailand hotels are (very) friendly, but here the owner and his wife were fabulous. Lot of explanations about the hotel and surroundings. In the evening they gave us two lampions and helped us to launch them (it was Loy Krathong). Hotel was a great view on a small lake and surroundings. Perfect at sunset. Large clean room and bathroom. I highly recommend this hotel

Cozy room with exceptional view”
The accommodation is slightly difficult to find, but once you get there and walk into the room, you'd feel the coziness. The view of the rice field and mountains from the balcony is exceptional! It is a great place to relax with the nature while still enjoying the luxury of soft comfy bed and hot shower.

Fantastically beautiful buildings in a most marvelous spot”
This is the most beautiful place we stayed at in all of Thailand, with 20 locations we booked into during our 4-week trip. The buildings are gorgeously designed, rooms are large and comfortable, and the common area is tasteful and cosy. Most beautiful is the view from the rooms and terrace and the common area: right accross small rice fields and a little lake with frogs, birds and stuff. We were there during the rainy season, and I might have felt one single moscito, not even two, so I don't know what happened to the guest who mentioned a special moscito problem, all was fine for us. Go there, it' even worth a detour.

Lovely stay”
The hotel is so beautiful. The location is great if you want to travel around Aob Luang. It is not far from the town and a local market where you can find everything but the property is quite private. The space with the rice field and the view are exceptional. The thing that you cannot miss on the stay is the sunset. It is soooo beautiful.

Slow Life and touching the nature.”
If you are looking for somewhere to relax and stress out. Here could be the right place. It's about an hour from Chiang Mai city center. However, view from the room is so great. Full of facilities as standard hotel. Clean room everyday. All rooms are facing to rice field. Services are good. All staffs are friendly and helpful.
