Exellend value for money with incredible location”
This hotel is located north of the city of Pai, direction Mae Hong Son. The 40 bungalows are set in a green garden and breakfast is taken in a beautiful setting with views on the infinity pool and rice paddies. The rooms are very large and clean but quite basic in terms of furnishings and decoration. The main reason to choose this hotel is the unbeatable location and quieteness.

Nice place but one staff is terrible in customer relations”
It was a nice place and good ambiance. One let down is the staff in the evening at the front desk was too moody to deal with me about a miscommunication with Agoda about my booking. He/she was quiet rude actually...needs more training or needs to find another job not in the service industry.

Very big room”
The room is very big for this value. It has surprised me when i enter the room especially the bathroom. However, the shower room is too dirty full of spider wax and dust.

Will not come back”
We booked under payment condition to pay at Hotel however about 1 week before our trip, a guy from Hotel called and asked us to pay. The guy was rude and dared to cancel our booking if I did not provide my credit card info. Finally they charged to my credit card without my permission ( they only said they need my credit card information ). About our rooms, toilet was not clean with bad smell, breakfast is not good, it totally is not worth for money.

Great hotel in Pai”
I really loved the room. I booked the deluxe villa; it seemed to be worth the upgrade. As far as I know, the deluxe villas have the better view toward the mountains, which can be enjoyed from the large front terrace in the morning (or on a beautiful moonlit night). The bed was centered in the middle of the room as you come in, and behind the concrete divide was his and hers sinks. The bathroom was huge, and there was also a walk in closet and desk. The owners also own a large amount of land (all the way to the mountains you can see in some of the pics), so you can also rent quadbikes (although I didn't take up this opportunity). I really enjoyed my stay at Phu Pai art resort. In fact, my girlfriend had booked us a second night at a different hotel - BURA LUMPAI resort... big mistake! It was poorly managed, and the restaurant was abysmal (in the top 3 worst hotel breakfasts I've ever had, dirty table cloths, etc)... during our night at Bura Lumpai, 2 of the new buildings they were building COLLAPSED! It was a very poor experience. Do yourself a favour, and stay at Phu Pai Art Resort... it was one of the best places I stayed in Thailand!

Relaxing resort in lovley Northern Thailand”
This is a lovely resort, perfect for a couple who desire a few days away from it all. The food here is quite god, although the breakfast buffet could have more selections. The pool is marvelous, and seems to blend in with the surroundings. We stayed in a Deluxe cottage--the mid-level accommodation available at Phu Pai Art resort, I believe--and the cottage was outstanding and well kept up. The staff were very attentive and helpful, and we had no problems during our three-day stay. There are shuttles, scooters, and bicycles available at the hotel, and about a 4 km. ride into the city of Pai itself. There are lovely temples there, as well as a pleasant walking street (which was overrun with tourists, I might add!). Overall, Pai has become a tourist destination, but it still has maintained a bit of its old self, I think. Please note: The drive to the hotel is not easy but, unlike many places I've visited in Thailand, there is excellent signage. And if you're driving from Chiang Mai, the road is difficult and can be treacherous. I recommend driving there in the daytime, and not trying to rush (especially if its been raining!). There are some lovely sites on the road to Pai--just be careful getting there (and fly if you can!).

Perfect for a weekend away”
I'll be going back to Phu Pai Art Resort for sure! It was awesome. The relaxing weekend away I was looking for! 5 minute taxi ride from Pai's small airport, or a an extra few minutes if you arrive to Pai by bus. Phu Pai Art Resort is on the outskirts of town, so you're away from any busyness or noise from the town's bars and instead surrounded by peaceful, lush rice fields and stunning views of the mountains. The staff were helpful. We rented motorbikes from the hotel to make getting in and out of town easier, but the hotel also provided an hourly shuttle bus. The infinity pool looks as good in real life as it does in the featured pictures. I was wary that the photos of the pool area were shot to look bigger than they were, but I was pleased to find that the pool area is rather large. The rooms are also as picturesque. There's no sneaky marketing going on here. The rooms were awesome. Well kept, cleaned daily and very private. Each room is it's own building / Thai style hut. Our room was looking over the rice fields, which was nice to wake up to in a morning and chill out on the front porch area after swimming in the pool until sunset. I can't wait to go back to Phu Pai Art Resort!

Right in the middle of paddy field”
Phu Pai Art Resort is 4 Kms from town. Bungalow chalet is decorate with dark wood and concrete floor and locate among yellow fields. Bathroom is spacious with a bath tub and shower area and painted in yellow and orange brick color. Shower gel and Shampoo is in refillable container. The window panel is badly designed and leave a big gap between windows that one can easily put fingers in between and mosquitos can come in to visit you while you were sleeping. For comfort, there's TV with 5 channels and all are in Thai, minibar fridge, electronic pot and hair dryer provided. There's a swimming pool but closed due to the rain. Staff said that the rain caused high in Chlorine and not safe to swim. Overall experience with this resort is disappointing due to its location and minimum service provide, feels like someone let you stay at their house, so you got to serve yourself.

Peaceful Bungalows and Beautiful Scenery”
The Phu Pai Art Resort is one of the most peaceful resorts I have ever been to. Each room is a separate bungalow and they are very spacious and clean. The whole resort overlooks large rice fields that are just breathtaking. Each room has a porch with a daybed to lay out and look at the mountains. It is very quiet and the staff is very helpful and friendly. There is a beautiful infinity pool that is so huge and refreshing to swim in! They have a nice restaurant as well, however we never got the chance to eat there. The only downside is that it is a pretty far distance out of town, so it can be hard to find at first. The best suggestion I'd have is to rent motorbikes that way you can come and go as you please. There is a shuttle provided by the resort, but I'm not sure how often it runs. However, that is a small downside in comparison to how nice this resort is!

Beautiful, peaceful place”
We loved our stay at the Phu Pai Art Resort! The fields are so beautiful, and the weather was magnificent in late October. The resort is outside the town of Pai, so it's very peaceful and quiet, but it's an easy drive to all the area's attractions. The pool is beautiful and the temperature is nice. The river in the rice fields is worth a visit. The surrounding mountains are glorious, and the tiny Thai town you drive through to get there is charming. Wonderful place. Breakfast wasn't special, and the coffee was bad, but who cares?

Time of ours lives”
My wife and I stayed at Phu Pai Art Resort and were amazed at the value we got. It's in the middle of a rice field, which was absolutely gorgeous. All around you are mountains and fields of rice. We took a walk through the farm and saw all sorts of animals and beautiful landscapes. The pool overlooks more fields with the background of mountains, and cows were coming right up to it. It was a truly amazing experience. The villa itself was wonderful. Very spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. We will come back and stay here again.

Fabulous location, peaceful and tranquil”
we absolutely loved our stay at phu pai art resort. the location is amazing, the rooms are very large and have a cool vibe. the staff were flexible and helpful. the pool is lovely-infinity pool that drops off into the rice paddies. we did not want to leave. only negative about our stay is the beds/pillows are not the most comfortable. i'd recommend bringing your own pillow if you are not a fan of hard pillows. the beds as well are pretty hard. small price to pay for an amazing hotel otherwise.

Hidden gem in Pai”
This was our first stay in Pai and we totally enjoyed staying in Phu Pai Art Resort. Location is great, not far from city and yet hidden in the centre of beautiful rice paddies with an authentic Thai village nearby. Stunning views of the valley and mountains, the river nearby, infinity pool, - we've had a very pleasant and memorable experience in this resort.

Located just outside Pai surrounded by rice fields and mountains this resort is tranquil and quaint ”
Post card picturesque. The staff are lovely. The rooms are clean. You enjoy your own bungalow. I had the superior room with twin beds and a very large bathroom. This resort has an infinity pool overlooking the rice field and farmers fields and mountains. There’s a bar beside the pool and the dining area overlooks the pool and fields. The staff build a fire at night where guests can sit mingle sing and talk. The resort is an open air concept. I went in January. The morning mist in the mountains is beautiful but pack a sweater. It’s a little chilly. The clouds clear and the sun shines bright. It’s jut past the Pai airport off the main highway. Far enough from the hustle and bustle of town yet close enough to enjoy a 10 min scooter ride into town. I will stay at the Phu Pai again.

Nice resort in a spectacualar location”
the phu pai art resort is a large faculity located 3 km outside of pai. the location is superb, overlooking a farm and with distant views of the mountains, although to appreciate the view you need to book one of five honeymoon suites, as the other rooms are set back from the view. the honeymoon suites are separate large villas, very spacious inside, with a huge bathroom area, and a large two- or even three-person bathtub. unfortunately, there was never enough hot water to fill the tub more than ankle deep - a big disappointment. there is also both a separate indoor and an outdoor shower. the restaurant provides all meals, if desired, at a reasonable cost. however, at breakfast (which was very poor), the presence of several cats was not hygenic -- especially when one sees two cats on top of a table eating left-over breakfast scraps.. the staff is pleasant, but not particularl well-trained. if you do not have transportation, the hotel runs a free shuttle to town during the day. however, in the late evening you would have to pay for it.

Exceptionally Beautiful Location”
The Phu Pai Art resort is great value for money. The rooms are huts that are scattered throughout a beautiful landscape of mountains and rice paddy fields. When we arrived there were horses feeding on the grounds. Lovely. We stayed in their most basic accommodation, but the rooms were huge nonetheless. The bathrooms were enormous, with separate bath tub, shower, his and her sinks and a walk-in closet. Each hut has its own private balcony where you can enjoy the view. The location is a little bit out of town, but that's the good thing about it. Pai center can be a little congested. Outside of town, you really get to enjoy the beauty of the countryside. We rented a motorcycle while we were there to get around. However, the hotel provides shuttle service for 50 baht a person (about 1.5USD) each way and it's free from 6pm to 9pm, so getting between town and the hotel is not a problem. You leave this place feeling truly relaxed.

Awesome”
This resort is a perfect getaway from the city life. It had a relaxing pool with a beautiful view of the rice fields. The fresh coffee roasted and prepared right in front of the guests is the star of this resort. I loved the coffee. The chef even made special vegetarian breakfast for us on request. The rooms too were clean and well maintained. I was satisfied with my stay at Phu Pai Art Resort.
