Staff was beyond helpful and kind. Beautiful bungalows! Great price! 10-15 min motor bike ride to downtown but recommended!! Would love to come back! By far the best place I’ve stayed during my three week backpacking

Beautiful and charming resort, surrounded by nature and agriculture ”

We love the vast agricultural fields and spectacular sunset. Would love a longer stay in future to bask in the natural environment. The room is huge with a separate vanity, changing room and bathroom. It can be too cold for comfort in the winter in the bathroom with the stark interior.

All great but villas bit old and could be cleaner. No major problem. We stayed 4 nights with young children they had fun running around. Not close to town but hotel has shuttle for minimal cost. Nice and peaceful surrounding.

There are no reception in the late night, the room is lack of maintenance, I guess the owner doesn't want to put any more money in, so everything is very old and poor maintained, for the same price, there are much newer and better service hotels.

This is an amazing resort to stay at. Beautiful views from Honeymoon suites. The only negatives are the amount of feral cats that live in the resort (one but me at breakfast table) and the pool could be cleaner. Apart from that I highly recommend staying here.

Located just outside Pai surrounded by rice fields and mountains this resort is tranquil and quaint ”

Post card picturesque. The staff are lovely. The rooms are clean. You enjoy your own bungalow. I had the superior room with twin beds and a very large bathroom. This resort has an infinity pool overlooking the rice field and farmers fields and mountains. There’s a bar beside the pool and the dining area overlooks the pool and fields. The staff build a fire at night where guests can sit mingle sing and talk. The resort is an open air concept. I went in January. The morning mist in the mountains is beautiful but pack a sweater. It’s a little chilly. The clouds clear and the sun shines bright. It’s jut past the Pai airport off the main highway. Far enough from the hustle and bustle of town yet close enough to enjoy a 10 min scooter ride into town. I will stay at the Phu Pai again.

Beautiful setting, it's used for photo shoots. Perfect for relaxing and de-stressing. A little bit away from the town of Pai ,but easy to get into town with the resort's mini bus. Costs 50 bhat one way. All together a beautiful experience.

Very convenient but a bit soulless ”

The view from the pool and the bungalows looking over the rice fields is absolutely amazing. My step daughter and I loved seating in the pool, chatting away looking at this amazing view. The staff are nice but they don't look very happy. In comparison to other hotels we have stayed at, they just don't seem to be happy or well treated. It is all very clean but a bit soulless. Happier staff might make for a bette atmosphere. The breakfast is really basic and very uninspiring but we had lunch one day at the food was lovely and fresh. All in all we were really happy but we didn't fall in love with the place. We will probably try somewhere else next time we are in Pai.

My wife and I stayed at Phu Pai Art Resort and were amazed at the value we got. It's in the middle of a rice field, which was absolutely gorgeous. All around you are mountains and fields of rice. We took a walk through the farm and saw all sorts of animals and beautiful landscapes. The pool overlooks more fields with the background of mountains, and cows were coming right up to it. It was a truly amazing experience. The villa itself was wonderful. Very spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. We will come back and stay here again.

The location is far from town. But the view is definitely worth it, during the night mosquito prey for u at the restaurant. Other than that, the room is clean, there's no mosquito at our room. Prefect for relaxation.

                  great place to relax”

We arrived as a group and admittedly we were very early for check in. The staff told us professionally they strictly enforced the check in time of 2pm and although we were not happy, we eventually settled in for some lunch while we waited. Lunch was good, although service was a little slow, not an issue because we were in a group (unless you were the last one to be served!). Anyway, fast forward to the rooms, now I can understand about checking in, the rooms are huge and the staff would need all the time they can get to clean them, which they do very well. Each building is one room, so as you enter you have a huge bedroom area with a king sized bed on a raised platform. To either side of the bed is a walk through space into a double vanity basin area, and beyond that is a huge bathroom with full bath, walk in robe and separate shower room. Beware, the rooms have the hottest hot water I've ever encountered in Thailand! The setting for the resort is very rural and quite stunning, but be warned, it is four kilometres approx. from the centre of Pai so not really a walking proposition. The resort does run either a van or a Sorngtau to and from town at regular times and for a minimal cost for guests. The horizon pool is magnificent although admittedly the decking could do with a bit of maintenance. The staff are all professional and helpful. We were sad to leave!

This place is suited a little out of Pai which suited us very well. The view over the valley from the pool and the restaurant is stunning. A broken light was fixed in no time and on request an extra blanket was delivered at the house. Great stay, but you need a car or motorbike to head into Pai

Surrounded by lush rice fields, incredibly relaxing infinity pool & beautiful suites

I'll be going back to Phu Pai Art Resort for sure! It was awesome. The relaxing weekend away I was looking for! 5 minute taxi ride from Pai's small airport, or a an extra few minutes if you arrive to Pai by bus. Phu Pai Art Resort is on the outskirts of town, so you're away from any busyness or noise from the town's bars and instead surrounded by peaceful, lush rice fields and stunning views of the mountains. The staff were helpful. We rented motorbikes from the hotel to make getting in and out of town easier, but the hotel also provided an hourly shuttle bus. The infinity pool looks as good in real life as it does in the featured pictures. I was wary that the photos of the pool area were shot to look bigger than they were, but I was pleased to find that the pool area is rather large. The rooms are also as picturesque. There's no sneaky marketing going on here. The rooms were awesome. Well kept, cleaned daily and very private. Each room is it's own building / Thai style hut. Our room was looking over the rice fields, which was nice to wake up to in a morning and chill out on the front porch area after swimming in the pool until sunset. I can't wait to go back to Phu Pai Art Resort!

Location is a bit out of town, 5 mins with the bike, but its nice not to be right in the centre. Also, hire a bike, its cheap, easy to get around for adventuring and a whole lot of fun. Theres not too much to do in Pai, town wise, during the day-so after a day of riding around and going to waterfalls its really nice to have a pool to freshen up in. The reception was lovely and always ready to answer any of your questions. The room was clean, spacious and offered all the privacy you could want.

Phu Pai a grand resort overlooking the most beaut”

Nice view, lovely swimming pool and good restaurant

This place is beautiful!!! wonderful rooms and friendly staff. Rooms are decorated in yellow combined with cement gray, and the resort is located in the rice fields. Food was very good, swimming pool has an amazing view over the valley. Exactly what I wanted: Peace and serenity.

                  Unforgetable experience”

Super large size, super cooling air cond and nice view

Improvement needed: emergency light has not been inserted when I check in and no emergency backup light along the resort. Umbrella forgot to put inside the villa when i check in which leads I need to use my handphone as light source and walk in the dark to lobby due to the power cut off in the midnight. Power generator or the solar power emergency light needed.

                  Exceptionally Beautiful Location”

Beautiful surroundings, large rooms, amazing pool!

The Phu Pai Art resort is great value for money. The rooms are huts that are scattered throughout a beautiful landscape of mountains and rice paddy fields. When we arrived there were horses feeding on the grounds. Lovely. We stayed in their most basic accommodation, but the rooms were huge nonetheless. The bathrooms were enormous, with separate bath tub, shower, his and her sinks and a walk-in closet. Each hut has its own private balcony where you can enjoy the view. The location is a little bit out of town, but that's the good thing about it. Pai center can be a little congested. Outside of town, you really get to enjoy the beauty of the countryside. We rented a motorcycle while we were there to get around. However, the hotel provides shuttle service for 50 baht a person (about 1.5USD) each way and it's free from 6pm to 9pm, so getting between town and the hotel is not a problem. You leave this place feeling truly relaxed.

                  Huge bathroom, huge room comfortable

it's the best hotel in our 10 days Thailand trip, each room is in an individual hut. Only complaint is that it's far from city center, need to pay to arrange for transport. Will be perfect if there's free shutter Service !
