We stayed in the Dao Ruen building. Pros: attentive staff, clean room, quiet complex, decent pool, simple breakfast buffet spread with good choices, big TV, fresh air and lovely surroundings, good price, nice cats, 7-11 near the resort, easy checkout Cons: my mattress was worn out and uncomfortable, temp swing of the air con was inconsistent (should consider switching to an inverter air con), some debris needed to be skimmed from the top of the pool in early evening

Spacious room and best location”
Location is the best with 7 eleven in short walking distance which is hard to come by in Suan Phueng area. The resort is located right at the intersection of two main tourism roads. Room (2204) were spacious you could even fit 4 or more beds in there. But the room and facilities could use more renovation. They look old and smell a little dusty. The are even some mold spots in the refrigerator. Staffs are nice, but breakfast could use better quality of ingredients. Overall, for the price we paid, it was ok. It could be one of the best resorts in the area maybe 20 years ago. That's the short description.

It’s only a night stay. Hotel location is great. Only a few minutes drive to Veneto, SP Highland, and Ban Hom Tien. Also, there’s 7/11 and a few stores at the main entrance.

Quiet, out of season, ongoing refurbishment”
This was OK, and was at a quiet off-season time, a few guests only...pool not used as waiting to clean. We were in an annex room waiting for refurb, but there was a deal of refurb ongoing, including a major new building. Should be great when the real season starts. Breakfast was disappointing but again, maybe due to off season limited numbers at the hotel. The staff present in limited numbers were very friendly and helpful, and seemed enthused.

The room is not sound proof. you can hear children screaming and running at night. the staff is friendly but not helpful because he is only operation level, not a duty manager to control other guest. The light is leaking into the room. So the room will not dark at night time.

Hotel area is dirty a lot of birds Poo around the restaurant and swimming pool ,staff are not professional,the breakfast is close at 10.30 am but during we having breakfast at 9.45 am they clearing the buffet without ask us .are we finished or not? Also staff just help themself from the buffet (eat) during we eating.

Don't consider this hotel....pay more for better as this hotel is too lousy”
The room furnished with wooden furniture, looks old some more with dim yellow light make me felt creepy. Most unpleasant is the bathroom smell badly with drainage once enter. The shower area is missing 1 glass panel so water all flow out, make the whole bathroom wet. Next day found a worm crawling in the bathroom....yeaks!!! My room is so far away like golf coarse area till need buggy service to move in and out so very inconvenient. After check in, found no dryer in the room. No staff station in reception for your enquiry. All the staffs are friendly but they do not speak simple English so we need to use body language well to make them understand.
