My stay at Phuc Thao Villa has been one of the highlights of my trip in Hoi An. This is my second time in Hoi An, and I wish I stayed here the first time. Why? First off, the location is off of Cua Dai street, it is 20 minutes bicycle ride to both beaches as you choose (Of course they provide free bicycles, which is the ideal way to get around, especially in the city centre). It is 5 minutes bicycle to the city centre. Second, they have a nice pool/lounge area if you are tired of the beach. Third, the staff speak great English and understand your needs and urgency. Fourth point is that the breakfast is very good and hearty for Vietnam. I do reckon you stay in this place. For the price, location and the modern room with up to date facilities, you cannot go wrong. PS. They have individual wifi hotspots per each room, so its super fast. We had a wonderful 1 nights here, Room 201. This great hotel is in a quiet location between the beach and town centre. The rooms were large, spacious and beautifully. The balcony is quiet, comfortable and private. Everything is brand new and the pool is always kept totally clean. Everyone always said hello with a smile everytime, free use of bicycles. All staff very helpful and eager to please like as I said the staff is always on hand with any help needed. We loved our stay at Phuc Thao Villa, thank so much guys. Phuc Thao Villa 10 ++

Wonderful stay in Hoi An”
The hotel is not easy to find, but a taxi will help you. Actually, in case you arrive by bus, just call the hotel to organize you a taxi. This will be the cheapest way to get there. The location is not directly on a main road, but somewhat inside a small road in a resident area. However, once we arrived there, we were stunned. The hotel is very new and very nice. Staff performance was outstanding, the room had a generous size and was very clean with a nice balcony. I wasn't there for leisure only and had to work during the day. The internet connection was one of the best I've ever experienced in Asia; fast and stable and I got my things done nicely. The staff organized all our needs (trains, taxis) for our further travels within a short time and with great professionalism. One potential drawback is, that you can't go on foot to the old city; it'll take more than 30 minutes, in my estimate. But you can rent bicycles and motorbikes and we had the former all the time (they're very cheap and of a good quality). So we were very mobile during the day and in the evening. Bicycles are the way to get around in Hoi an, as the streets are reasonably safe and the distances are short. Breakfast is good, but may get repetitive after 5 days. A 2 minute ride away are many small and inexpensive, yet nice, restaurants, so if you don't want to always go to the old city for lunch or dinner, there's plenty of choice. Clearly, on our shortlist for the next stay in Hoi An.

A great hotel in Hoi An, very good value”
I originally booked for 1 night. On arrival I was immediately of the thought that this place is a complete gem of a hotel so I booked for 3 nights. The location is very central, 10 minutes either way to the old town and the beach. The hotel is brand new and everything is very clean and well built. I hired a bike for 2 days and had a great time cycling around this very beautiful town. The staff (most notably Hang who is a very lovely woman who was very friendly and made sure that I had everything that I needed, including booking a bus from Hoi An to Saigon for me). The swimming pool is great, it is located just in front of the hotel building and was very nice to swim in every day. I saw them cleaning it at night, so everything is good in the future I think for this hotel. The price I got was low because of a special offer and was great value for money. I shall return again in the near future as Hoi An is one of the best places in Vietnam.

Home from home. Perfect!”
Can honestly say that staying here was an absolute pleasure. Booked for 2 nights and stayed over a week. The hotel itself is lovely!!! Brand new, well designed, modern rooms that are cleaned daily. Felt just like coming home every night. The staff were just amazing!! From check in, the entire stay, to arranging our taxi to the airport, all brilliant. The hotel is slightly outside the river area but we hired brand new bicycles from the hotel every day and was great fun riding up to the river or to the beach (each is only 10 mins cycle either way so we found it a great location) We stayed during the run up to Tet which was a lovely time to be in Hoi an as we got to see all the preparations. The staff invited us to join them for their new year party which was one of the highlights of our entire travels! Such lovely memories. Hang and all the girls are just too cute! A million thanks to you all once again.... we will definitely be back.

Lovely room, lovely pool, lovely people. ”
A slight disadvantage for some would be the mile walk or cycle ride into the town centre. ( bicycles provided.) The advantage for me is that it's a peaceful retreat. If necessary a Grab taxi or motorcycle is also an option. The staff were all friendly and went out of their way to help in any way they could, arranging trips, taxis, and always with a smile. I found that I was dealing with friends rather than staff. Hoi An itself is such an enchanting place that is easy to stroll around but it is always nice to know that you have a good temporary home to relax in when you wish to.

Quiet Villa , friendly Staff”
Phuc Thao Villa is located at the end of a lane off a busy street. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast choices were good. Because of cool, rainy weather , I did not use the pool; however it looked very clean and the area surrounding. The only negative would be that the bikes are very old and hard to adjust the seat.

I visited Hoi an several times but this was my first time I enjoyed my stay. With advantages of good location, friendly and helpful staff, new facilities and reasonable price. Besides, bike could be rented with only $1/day, it made the town trip more fun and enjoyable. This hotel offered all you need for a pleasant holiday. High recommended for person who is looking for a comfortable stay.

I am so happy to have stayed here. It was a joy start to finish. First off, great value. Beautiful brand new huge room and bathroom, nicely furnished. Good wifi in the room too. The staff and owners were amazingly kind and friendly. Several times they greeted me and helped me plan my days and transit. Motorbike rentals were affordable and this made it easy to get around town. It is a bit of a walk or taxi ride otherwise. Pay the $6 for the motorbike and you'll have great access to everything. Highest recommendation for Hoi An. I wish I had more time there!

Great hotel, poor location ”
Air conditioner was not working on the first night. I complained and it was fixed immediately. I was able to secure valuables in the hotel safe. The manager gave me excellent recommendations for things to do and see in Hoi An. She also arranged for a private vehicle to drive me to Nha Trang and saw me off at 5:00 AM, which showed real dedication.

The rooms are large, clean and comfortable, great view with nice balcony. The staff are wonderful. This is the best hotel I had so far on my trip in Hoi An. I found this to be the best hotel I stayed in and the best value.We would gladly stay here again.

Not bad for the price”
Unfortunately when we arrived there was building work right outside our room. This is not the hotels fault as it was a neighbor but it started early so didn't get a great sleep. Breakfast is not as good as some reviews suggest. Very basic and nothing tasted fresh. We have stayed in 6 other hotels and homestays in Hoi An around the same price and this was by far the worst breakfast. Location is pretty good, halfway between the beach and the town. Pool looked lovely but we didnt use as left the next morning to a different hotel. Its OK but nothing more

Good value for money”
We picked up a good deal for this hotel for only 27USD per night. It was very clean and a nice room. It is a good distance from the town as we found the short bike ride very enjoyable. The hotel hires bicycles for $1 per day. The staff were very helpful and the owner let us have a late check out too. The rooms could be a little more sound proof as in the hallway you can hear the TV from inside a room. The breakfast is al carte and could do with more options but the scrambled eggs were lovely. If your staying on a Sunday night be away that the locals have a party on the next street over that has loud music until about 9.30-10pm but we didn't get to bed until that time anyway. Thanks for a great stay!

Great hotel - brand new”
This is a brand new hotel so the standard is very good, lovely little pool outside the front and the rooms are of a very good standard! Very modern. Lots of cable tv channels including the english movie channels, every room has its own wifi box so signal was very good for facetiming relatives back home. Staff were friendly and very polite, very good value for money. About a 20min walk to ancient town but bikes to rent at the hotel and about a 10/15min bike to the beach.

Nice little hotel ”
The pool was very nice, however smaller than on the pictures. The rooms were very nice, spacious, clean, and bathroom had separate shower from toilet. It was slightly far from the centre of the Old town, but very quiet and calm. Breakfast was good, pretty much the same as in every Vietnam hotel. Would recommend, and stay there again, the price is very good for the quality you get.

The stay was like a picture from a post card from the balcony of my room I felt like a king. The rooms are very big each room decor differently with silk lanterns that hang on the side of the bed . I fell in love with the waterfall shower and the staff are so kind to you they treat each guest as if you are the only person staying their making sure they can cater to your every need. The breakfast is awesome you get fresh fruit omlette
