Good value for money
Very friendly staff - willing to help you with anything you need. Location is very good - 5mins walk for bars, restaurants, street markets, bus station etc. Rooms weren't regularly tidied, but will happily do it upon request. 1 of the 6 toilets/showers out of action at the moment but never had to wait and are promtly being fixed. Definitely would come back!

something special
The family that runs the place is trying very hard to make you having a good time. Sometimes it's just trying though (language barrier is quite significant - nonetheless with enough patients we always made ourselves understandable to the other ones). The place itself is unique with its modern and stylish approach. It's reasonable clean and well maintained. Those little singe rooms ("capsules") are great value if you want your private room (they do have normal dorms as well). If you can deal with a tiny room (literally only space for the mattress on the floor and nothing else) you might love that little personal space as much as I did. However the shared AC is of mixed benefit as it powers all those capsule rooms in a row - and whoever slept next to me always set it to 34 degrees which left me sweating at night (you'll get a mini fan for your room, too). The walls in between the capsules are paper thin and no buffer for noise - but all they do is give you privacy to not been seen. So if you know what you want and a tiny capsule does the trick for you, I'm sure you'll like Phuket Capsule Hotel as much as I did.

dont stay at 2 bed-fan dorm, noisy,hot,mosquito.
2 bed-dorm room is hot, noisy whole day and night so u could not sleep! Many mosquito...maybe It was speciality of Phuket... 1 single fan room of this "Capsule" the bed not good (not Thai standard ) so hurt your back body after overnight (the guest from Malaysia told me). Better you choose room air-conditioning or dorm air-conditioning mattress lay on floor and stayed together with owner (her family). That is called " capsules "!

you get what you pay for
Terrible - I didn't want to have a shower; the place was locked up and there was fire escape; they had a dog that they kept in the building and in the morning you had to dodge puddles of urine.
