Repeat customer, 1 star Hotel Not Recommended
I stayed here in 2011, a five star hotel and staff. Very clean and awesome customer service. Fast forward to 2016, worst hotel, 1 star. When I checked in at 11pm, hotel stated room x2 was not ready. Waited about 30 mins, room was available. Staff stated my young daughter had to pay for breakfast up front, all balance due at check in. My hotel was free breakfast and kids under 12 stay free. When I explained this, the staff sated only the room is free not breakfast for children. I stated this was not the case before and the reservation doesn't stated exceptions, staff was rude and failed to meet customers request. I stated I would not pay upfront as she won't eat everyday since we have tours. Staff stated to pay after and sign a paper stated I owed them total 1800 baht. I refused and staff stated just pay at restaurant. Went to rooms, in the far back corner, away from everything. Room ac did not work, smelt heavily with mildew and showed mold throughout the two rooms. Went back to front desk to ask for another room. Staff stated he could not move us an will call the repair man to fix ac. I expressed my concern that my daughter is sensitive to mold and the ac working won't do it for us. Staff refused to move rooms and stated staff could no do anything. I demanded a manager, staff refused. I saw another staff member with a different color shirt and asked if he was a manager. Manager was friendly an poliet. I expressed my concern and disservice with staff. Manager stated all rooms were full, I stated I would have to switch hotels. Manager was unwiling to provide us with paid cost back, I expressed my concern that due to health concerns the hotel was unable to provide me with a habital rooms. After I started looking for other hotels on my internet at front desk, manager stated, we found two vacant rooms on the pool front with a breeze, which reduced the mildew and mold. We looks at the rooms, much better kept and had no smell of mold or signs.

The Hotel has serious staff-/ & management issues
Facilities, value for money wise it's fine - yet our interaction with staff was very disappointing, to the point of impolite, not well trained to just insufficient staff to properly serve the guests during peaks - ranging from checkin, unpersonal service.. to breakfast with buffet running out on a daily basis of multiple food choices and plates, cups and utensils -majority of guests are large groups of Chinese tourists, closely followed by Russians, who in defense of the hotel staff, are not always the most polite guests to the staff. Overall not a positive experience hence will not return to this hotel.

Noisy Noisy Noisy
They allow guest to use the pool till very late with no lights. Close to midnight and there are guest swimming and laughing loudly, four days stay and every night is the same. Corridor is not carpeted. The tile floor is noisy when people walks pass. Door not sound proof and it's really noisy when group tourist come back or leave their rooms. Staff is not as friendly as other hotels I've stayed in Phuket. A mix of tourist but majority china tourist. Old resort with worn down wooden furnishings. Strong Aircon.

Tired hotel
Hotel is in dire need of a refurb. The photos must have been taken 10 years ago when the hotel was in better shape. The facilities are adequate and it is as clean as a old hotel can be. It's probably max 3 star standard.

Ups and Downs
We spent 8 nights here on family vacation and I must say that I was not happy. I will just give some quick up and downs for your awareness. Ups -Every Taxi driver knows where the hotels is at so don't worry about getting lost. -Close to the beach If you will like to enjoy the sun and sand. -Staff personal such as dinning facility are awesome. -Room very comfortable in space. -Dinner was excellent and cheap. Downs -Lets start with I payed to much for what I got, a couple of days later I looked at the price again and it was half of what I paid. That's on me though for looking in so short notice and thinking I was going to a 4star for real. -About 1 hr away from the airport and no highways at all, so if you or your love ones are not use to a lot of curves prepare your self. -Rooms refrigerator not good at all and you will be charged 30Baht (almost $1 USD) if you ask for ice which they will only bring you a bucket. Had to pay it every night in order to get my drinks cold. -Bed hard like a rock -Shampoo and Conditioner wasn't great for a 4star resort. -Same breakfast everyday so if you don't mind you good to go. -Little girls topless (it's probably normal but not for our family) -Life guards from the swimming pool playing with girls (14/15 yrs) that I am guessing were staying at the resort as well. I get it where are the parents of those kiddos? but from a managers point of view I think it shouldn't be allow (pay attention to what you're tittle is "LIFEGUARD") -in the 8 nights we was at the resort the big slide was open 1 time which was the big seller for me since I have kiddos, or it was just open during the morning time and we was still sleeping since we woke up around 11am so that gives you a specific time of when was it open. -Liquor bottle (whisky) more expensive at the resort then the 7 eleven that was like 2 minutes away from the resort (unbelievable). Once again don't let this review stop you, see it for yourself. It should not be a 4star at all. Att: BEING
