Way out of Chiang Rai and overpriced.”

Friendly staff, free Internet.

I made a last minute decision to spend New Year in Chiang Rai and this was the only place I could find available due to there also being a flower festival on. I'm guessing the price was hiked up due to over demand but the price I payed was around 4 times what a room of this type usually costs in Thailand (I lived there for 9 years until recently). The rooms are basic with TV and fridge, beds are hard and uncomfortable as were the pillows. Quite loud from neigbouring cockerels starting from 4.30am too. Wouldn't be choice I'd make if there had been another option. Also, it is around 8km outside Chiang Rai, much better to stay closer.

โรงแรมเงียบๆ ห้องพักขนาดกลางและมีจำนวนห้องไม่เยอะ”

เงียบ ไม่พลุกพล่าน และทางโรงแรมคุยง่ายในการขอเช็คเอ้าท์เลทเกินกว่าเที่ยง

โรงแรมไม่ได้อยู่ติดถนนสายหลัก ต้องเข้าซอยไปเกือบ 1 กม. จึงไม่สะดวกเวลาเดินทางออกจากที่พัก ถ้าไม่โทรเรียก Taxi(ซึ่งต้องรอกว่า Taxiจะมา)ก็ต้องเดินออกจากที่พักมาที่ถนนสายหลัก และป้ายชื่อโรงแรมที่ติดไว้ที่หน้าปากซอยมีขนาดเล็กทำให้หาซอยเข้าที่พักยากโดยเฉพาะถ้านั่งรถโดยสารประจำทาง (รถเมล์ท้องถิ่น) แต่ถ้าเป็นรถรับจ้าง (สองแถว ,สามล้อตุ๊กๆ ก็บอกคนขับให้พาไปส่งได้) สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกภายในห้องพักมีแต่ทีวี และ แอร์ ไม่มีตู้เย็น ห้องน้ำหลอดไฟขาดเมื่อตอนเข้าพัก ต้องแจ้งให้เจ้าหน้าที่มาเปลี่ยนให้ และแรงดันน้ำที่ผ่านเครื่องทำน้ำอุ่นไหลค่อยมาก แต่แรงดันน้ำที่อ่างล้างหน้ากลับแรงกว่า ส่วนเรื่องราคาทางโรงแรมแจ้งราคาถูกกว่าที่จองผ่าน Agoda จึงไม่รู้ว่าจะจองผ่าน Agoda ทำไม ทั้งๆ ที่เข้าใจว่าจองผ่าน Agoda จะได้ราคาถูก เป็นราคาพิเศษ ทำให้ไม่กล้าแนะนำให้เพื่อนจองโรงแรมผ่าน Agoda แล้ว เดี๋ยวถูกเพื่อนต่อว่าที่หลังได้
