The beach is beautiful, clean and safe for kids. We can see small fish, crabs and other sea creatures swimming in the clear water. My daughter loves it. Hotel facilities are good for the price and 3 star standard. Rooms are spacious and sparkling clean. All the staffs are helpful and friendly. There’s no fancy bar on the beach or large infinity pool. But if you want to enjoy a nice and clean beach and sunshine with good food, this place is a great choice.

PROS: Beautiful sea-view room with quality service. Affordable, quiet, buffet breakfast, peaceful location, Directly opposite the beach, Courteous staff, big well maintained classy older style hotel, big comfortable bed, silk robes, minibar, balcony, aircon, bathroom with bath, toiletries, TV, writing desk, WIFI, internet computers in the lobby for patron use. CONS: The hotel (on Back Beach) is a long way from the city Centre and local scene (STAY at front beach if you intend on being close to cafes, nightlife, any signs of life etc). The pool is across the road (not in the hotel), the upstairs bar does not open (functions only?) hard to meet people, limited access to tourist information.

Almost alone during the week a bit crowded on the weekend. Pool and beach very close together. Restaurant functional, but nothing extra. Restaurants a few blocks away. Bike rental on the other side of the street. Minimart 10min walk. We booked a triple(for 2 adults and 2 children) thinking our 8 yr old could sleep in existing beds. Staff informed us that hotel policy was child over 1.20m=adult. They were reasonable and we agreed on paying a small fee for his breakfast.

ok...so, don't stay here if you want a nice stay. the bedroom i stayed in was great and all the rooms were nice, we had a group booking for friends of about 20 rooms. the hotel is very basic. the last time i saw a checkin method where the hotel was still using a rooms ledger was about 25 years ago! anyway, there is nothing else i can say, am not going to list silly things like, the hotel ran out of beer or the breakfast was revolting but i just did and you have been warned. there is nothing redeeming about this place. its not a nice hotel but the bedroom was clean and comfortable. but i only paid for a sea view room with breakfast so what would you expect?

The Cao hotel was beautiful and clean but still needs a bit more flare in the lobby area. It's still very new and needs a bit of a womans touch...The rooms were perfect as was the views of the beach. The free mini bar of drinks and chips each day. The breakfast was great with a large variety of food. The staff were great. But the most beautiful was Linh from the front desk Manager. She was friendly, helpful and very kind and honest. Linh always did what ever she could to make us feel so welcomed from the time we first walked into the Cao Hotel until we left 3 days later. Even the 1st day I was there I was looking at the Agoda site on my mobile when I pushed one of the buttons on the phone and I accidentally booked a room in the Cao Hotel for a night, we were not even going to be in Vung Tau at that date, as soon as I realized what I had done I tried to cancel it, but it was a non cancellation booking/no refund. I contacted Linh or Lucy as she is called. (I think because she looks like Lucy Lu the actress 😍) and she went out of her way to make sure we got a full refund, when some other person did not want to (not from Cao Hotel.) But she would also make time to sit done with you to have a friendly chat. She was Beautiful too. 😉
