The best place you can get for the lowest price. I did not expect the amazing pool and the fact that it's super close to beach and fairy springs. Also very clean and friendly staff who let us in in the middle of the night without charging us extra night. Amazing service!
the worst hotel. dirty and hot.”
i couldn't say more but stay away. the hotel is dirty and AC doesn't work. we have to switch 1 of our room bc the Ac C wasn't working only to find the room pillows and sheet was dirty and moldy and the AC is not much different. When asked the front staff for new pillows, they asked us to wait till tomorrow bc no one is here to help. stay away.
Fine hotel with small swimming pool”
Stayed here for a night only, the room was simple and tidy, wasn't disturbed by any bugs. Hair dryer and hot water pot are provided through asking the front desk. Swimming pool was really clean and opened 24hrs, worth giving this place a try if you have a low budget.
Not too bad”
kinda great location. grocery store right in front of the hotel and a petrol kiosk. Able to fill up the gasoline for motorbike and go around the village. Staff is friendly by suggesting on the food and tourist spot. But the english level is not so pro. Cleanliness of the room need to be improve as there were some 'left over' rubbish like sticky notes and paper.
Bed bugs, loud street noise and lazy staff.”
We checked in for one night at Phuong Tay guesthouse and were led to a prison cell of a bedroom. Fluorescent lighting, no fresh air without opening the door to the loudest driveway. Woke up the following morning to bed bug bites, itching all through the night. Woke up to the staff with 5 scooters parked outside our entrance having a good old chat at 6:30am. This place is an absolute dump. Alongside that hard to get any staff attention, took us 25 minutes to find someone to check out. The only thing it has going for it is a few good eateries close by. Do not stay here, spend the extra $10 not worth a "deal".
Truly a bang for the buck”
I would definitely recommend this place. We had access to this place nearby that arrange tours around Mui Ne. There is a family diner nearby that cooks really good food that is so cheap, you will order more!
Value for money ,nice pool and helpful staff, close to many options for food.”
The only concern is that the beach at Mui ne functions as a rubbish tip and is covered in plastic, like most beaches in Vietnam. The hotel is Midway along this beach it is not at the big resort end of town nor is it in the town itself which is the really messy end ( prevailing wind ) . It is a short taxi ride to town about 4000 dong . It's is in an ideal position for me and gives a good balance. The pool and spa were great and the beach is 150 metres away .
Good location, Cleanliness, ”
We just need a place to storage our luggage while we went out for half day tour and shower before we headed to Saigon. Pros + Good price + Cleanliness + Helpful staff + This place located nearby FUTA bus station within 2-3 mins walking distance + They also have a swimming pool but they didn't turn on the light at night. No reception at night + There are a few good restaurants in this area but if you want some seafood, they are away from you like 2-3 KM. So, you will need a cab Cons - No reception at night, they will get back home around 9 PM if you have to get early check out, you should tell them because I'll keep your passport when you check in - Toilet a bit smell. After you've done your job, KEEP THE TOILET LID CLOSED.
Clean and spacious room”
Cheap and clean with big rooms. Water in the pool is clean but the tiles could do with a scrub but don't let that put you off. Located near a really nice food court and cake shop. Close to the fairy stream
Modern clean rooms”
Only stayed one night and was blackout most of day, guesthouse has a generator which was great advantage as many surrounding did not. Did not use pool as looked a bit green. Room was very clean and modern but a bit sterile as all white and tiled. No hot water. Lots of cheap and good restaurants around.
Good for the price”
This hotel would have been pretty good in its day but like a lot of cheap hotels, things don't get fixed. When I was first taken to the room and the door was opened, my glasses instantly fogged up. Sure it had been a hot day, got up to 32C but it was 8 pm so had cooled down to 26C but that room was at least 40 degrees. The staff member when into the bathroom and for some reason, which I'll explain later, put the toilet hose in the toilet. It was far too hot to stay in the room so I left my bag, took the key off the keyring to leave the aircon on and went out for dinner. When I returned, just before turning into a pumpkin, the room was still pretty hot so I took a shower, that's when I realised why the bottom washer was in the toilet, it was leaking quite a bit. That night was not good, the combination of a hot room with the noise of the aircon on full and the sound of running water, a good night sleep does not it make. Next morning I asked to change rooms, no problem, mostly vacant.
Good bed, nice pool”
One of the better bed I've sted in Vietnam and also clean pool. Not for me to complain, maybe just the location is a little further out from town. Will they there again, recommend.
clean and good location”
we were only there two nights staff were friendly central location rooms were large and clean The pool unfortunately was very poorly maintained
The owner is very responsible”
The location is far from the station.
Where is Housekeeping?”
While we realise this is a budget guesthouse, we have stayed in hostels with better housekeeping. We stayed here for four nights and the room was not cleaned once, we took it upon ourselves to clean the room. However, the pool is good fun to play around in, it's down the road from the food court (Taste of India is a must visit!), and it's not too far to the tourist attractions in the area.
Value for money”
The location is good, there are food stands and little supermarkets everywhere around the hostel, should you need anything. The staff doesn't speak a very good English and sometimes, it was a little difficult to get your message across. The bed was comfortable and AC was working well. However, I had to change rooms twice because the bathroom was leaking (it was either the sink or the shower, or even both !) but the staff was nice about it so it was okay. there were ants in the room, I didn't mind, for what I paid it was fine but beware and don't leave food outside the fridge. Unrelated to the hotel, the beach I'd very dirty in Mui Ne, so even if the hotel is close, I don't recommend going. Conclusion, don't have your expectations too high.
It is a budget choice”
I booked this hostel on Agoda and the prize is cheaper than booking at the hostel. The room is ok, the bathroom is new and clean. However, because this is just a budget hostel so you should not require much
we booked coz of swimming pool, was turning green”
Booked it because of the pool but from what I could tell the filter didn't work, water turning green. We mentioned it and we're told it gets cleaned everyday and maintenance are coming tomorrow, they didn't sort it. The room was very nice but not worth the money, we could have got a room half that price and no one took our rubbish or changed our towels for three days and they don't speak English on the front desk making it hard to sort problems. Worth staying if they sort the pool but I doubt that because they think it's clean!
Clean room, poor customer service ”
We stayed here for 2 nights in October, when we arrived after a 14 hour train journey we couldn't get into the reception area it was locked. A woman came out shouted at us and gave us a key and then disappeared. We had to find the room ourselves and then return to reception as there were no towels and toilet roll in the room and we weren't given the wifi password. We weren't given any information about the guesthouse and there was no information in he room. So we had no clue what time the pool was open when check out was, we didn't have a map etc. The next day we went down to reception to find out where we could rent a motorbike from and the boy there spoke no English he rang through to a woman who spoke little English. She asked if we wanted to rent a motorbike to which I replied yes and she said "ok one minute". I heard an engaged tone for 1 minute before the phone started to make a very loud noise at this point the boy took the phone off me and hung it up with no explanation. We waited a minute but no one came down so we just left and had to walk 20 minutes down the road to rent one from a hotel. The room and bathroom was spacious and mostly clean. During the rain at night time the power would cut off 2 or 3 times a night for 10-20 minutes at a time. I had no problems with the room my issue lied with the staff we ended up going to other hotels to rent bikes get maps etc stuff that they can provide but don't. One night we waited the storm out until 11:30pm and decided to go out as we needed bottled water. There was a security guard at the gate so we told him we would be back in 5 minutes and he didn't understand us This place has the potential to be much better than it is, if you know your way around Mui Ne and are familiar with where to find the things you need then this place is fine. If you need any assistance with anything you won't get it here.
great value for money ”
Although rather far out from the hub of things in mui ne there was a lovely restaurant close by and mopeds were cheap to rent. Staff were friendly and helpful but not always on hand. An ideal place for chilling and peace and quiet.
