AMAZING and CARING staff”
After a week in Thailand, this is the best place I’ve stayed so far, and that’s largely due to the truly kind and helpful caring staff. The reception girl I usually interacted with was a young Muslim girl whose name I did not get, but she usually wore pink slides. She was very smiley, friendly and welcoming, and always willing to answer my questions. She speaks very amazing English! The resort was very beautiful, with lush jungle greenery and dark wooden cabins. The pool area was also very beautiful, and surrounded by plants. The pool was quite spacious too! It usually wasn’t too busy when I was there, and I never noticed it dirty except for a few fallen leaves later in the day — which is totally normal for an outdoor pool, of course. There is a gym, but I didn’t go inside so I’m not sure if it’s well maintained or not. There is an on site spa, but they said due to COVID it is closed for now. There is a nearby spa on the main road that offers free pick up and drop off — it’s a bit of a higher end pricey spa, so if you want a good deal and don’t mind walking a bit, I recommend Dee Dee Masage, which has a discounts from 10am to 7pm, where I got a really nice 1 hour Thai massage for only 180 baht! There’s also an on-site restaurant which I did not try because I always left too early before breakfast started - which is 150 THB per day. The resort location is okay, it’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the main road down a fairly dark road that is not super well lit, but there are some fields around with oxen which I thought was quite scenic. The view you get out of the mountains is also amazing from the road right by the hotel, since there’s not many other buildings obstructing the view. I think if you don’t mind having to walk 10-15 min to reach 7-11 and restaurants, and about 20 min to reach Ao Nang Beach, this place is fine. Happy stay at Phu Pha”
The hotel pool was a real highlight and the fact it was nearly always possible to find a shady spot for us was a bonus. The food at breakfast and from the pool bar was good with plenty of choice. The transfer service was useful but limited on times so often didn’t work out but at 50bht per person for tuk tuk either way it was no biggy. There was some confusion when we arrived that we thought we had a double room booked but this info wasn’t sent through from Agoda so we nearly had a twin but we managed to swap to a decent double room without too much bother but not the fault of the hotel. Chose to arrange private return transfers to the airport in advance via email with the hotel and all very straight forward to arrange. Also useful to get laundry washed at 70baht per kilo!

For the price, this is a great place to stay! It has a bathtub, comfortable bed and swimming pool. However, iron is not provided. Could improve on the cleanliness and wifi (it’s a bit slow). The place is a bit far from the beach & shops area but free shuttle is provided at certain times of the day. The staffs are all very nice! Definitely recommended if you’re looking for a cheap place to stay

We had a great time staying at PhuPha Aonang Resort... The location is just perfect... And the staff are really friendly, and accommodating, especially DaDa, the lady in-charged of the restaurant... There's welcome drinks upon checking-in... Although the resort is not located in the center of AoNang (but it's still a walking distant to Aonang town-center), the resort has a transportation service and they would drop you off in the town center anytime... The manager of the hotel is also nice... We really loved our stay in Krabi, and PhuPha Aonang resort was the best resort to be... I highly recommend it, and if given the chance, I would definitely come back and stay here...(",)

Lovely resort with wonderful service”
Decided to stay at this resort after reading the reviews and looking at the photos and boy we were not disappointed at all. Upon arrival we received warm greetings, welcome drinks and pleasant check-in. The hotel staffs are all smiles and extremely helpful. Away from the main roads, this resort is tuck close to nature with quiet and relaxing ambience. The resort offered free shuttle services from the resort to the Aonang beach which is about 15-20 mins by walking. Aside to that, the path leading to the rooms are quite dark at night. Also make sure to close your doors when you're out or sleeping at night as small creatures/insects may enter your rooms. Overall, no complaints. We truly enjoyed our stay at PhuPha Aonang Resort.

great place to stay, an oasis”
We recently stayed at PhuPha Aonang Resort for 3 nights at the end of a 2 week trip. It was fantastic, quiet location just out of town, but 5 mins tut tut or free shuffle bus into the beach or shops, great pool, very good rooms, good food at not too bad price, friendly staff, overall a great stay and would definitely recommend again

Hidden gem and garden! ”
PhuPha is the right place to escape from the caos of Ao Nang, we stayed there for two nights and it was great, I would stay there again! The location is hidden in an amazing jungle garden close to the mountain cliffs and not far from Ao Nang Beach, that is easy to reach with a 20 minutes walk or if you don't want to walk, they are well organized with a shuttel who transfers from the beach to the resort every hour. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are traditional wooden bungalows, well cleaned with a minibar full of supplies. The breakfast is good. PhuPha is a oasis of peace and we enjoyed it very much!

a sweet escape from city life”
It was short and sweet escape from city life. It is highly recommended for couples/ family who are travelling on a budget. Phupha resort is located in a quiet area, and youll feel like you are sleeping on a tree top. The resort is accessible to ao nang street where you can find everything, from food to shopping to transportation and the beach. Id definitely come back to krabi and stay again here.

This is the best hotel in our 8-days trip in Thailand.the staff are veray nice and we love to chat with them.I love the decoration of the room,which was made of woods,made me feel warmth.PhuPha is not very close to AoNang seaside.but we have rented a motocycle from PhuPha(I suggest),for only 250B/day,it will make your travel more convenient.And the breakfast is preety good..btw,don't worried about the mosquitos a lot..I haven't find them during my 3-days stay in PhuPha.I and my boyfriend love here very much. Well,I will choose here too if I come to AoNang next time.

wooden luxury treetop houses with mointain view ”
immedially loved it. Ao nang beach is loud and packed with people, Phu Pha resort was our retreat from the beach party atmosphere. Absolutely stunning vegetation as soon as the receptionist showed us the way to our room, which itself is designed really great and executed perfectly. It was an enormous bed in this round treetop-style room, surrounded by geckos and providing you with a balcony viewing the immense cliff and rock formations krabi is famous for. Fascinating place, would come back anytime.

Lush resort - extremely relaxing”
We stayed at the Phu Pha resort for 5 days and enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was large and bright. The food at the retaurant is very good and priced the same as downtown Ao Nang. The resort is nestled at the base of the cliffs and is filled with beautiful gardens. The staff are very friendly and approachable. We would definitely stay here in the future.

Super Hotel on Super Location”
beautiful and spacious wooden chalets in an amazing scenery. All chalets build around a medium size pool with lots of green around it. Staff was marvelous, always smiling and helpful with everything.We loved the location, just outside the center of Ao nang, but with the hotel mini van your in and out of town within 5 minutes. Early morning wake-up to the sound of gibbons !!!! what more can we say. Next visit to Krabi/Ao Nang we certainly stay here again.
