I loved every minute of staying here. The bungalows are gorgeous. I stayed in a non A/C room and I felt like the fan was enough to stay cool at night. The bed was super comfy and I liked that the resort was aways from the partying. The pool was amazing. The complimentary breakfast was fruit/toast/eggs/fried rice w veg and coffee/tea which is decent for a free breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

This resort was lovely and surrounded by nature. The room was clean and had air con and a mosquito net, however insects do come into the bathroom on the cheaper rooms so if this bothers you, I would recommend getting a more expensive room. The pool was beautiful and had a lovely view of the beach front. The breakfast wasn’t that bad. The staff were lovely and you can arrange free transport to the pier which is useful if you have heavy luggage as the hill coming up to the resort is very steep! Overall, a lovely stay and no problems, would recommend

Pros: we can see beautiful sea and beach from the room, clean room, provided swimming pool, simple breakfast, very near to Phi Phi Don View. Cons: Far from the pier and Tonsai beach, the room is hot even already on AC for an hour, the way go to hotel is little bit up-hill. Overall: I still recommend this hotel, because it have stunning view from the room

Stay here for the pool!! I swam every single morning and then again at night or whenever I got the chance. Pretty much always had the pool to myself. It is a bit out of the way and off the main path but I felt comfortable walking alone.

The most beautiful view and pool on Phi Phi. The sunsets were the best I have ever seen. The rooms were clean and staff were friendly enough. We are a you young fit couple in our late 20s and the hike up was tough but good! You sure earn your drinks every night!

The apartament is very, very small. The bed covers 90% of the area. No space for things. Only 1 small shelf. After two days, we changed the hotel. We found hotel in the same price and 3 times larger area with a beautiful view. Not worth recommending.

Serene, but inconvenient”
Great swimming pool, peaceful and serene resort. Location is quite terrible, one has to literally climb a hill to reach one's accommodation, which becomes extremely difficult after two cocktail buckets. Reception and staff is very friendly but don't work post 7 pm. Overall, a peaceful and quiet destination and value for money but I would recommend others to book closer to the jetty.

Not everything here is "sea view"”
Booked this assuming that the rooms all had sea view and ours didn't. In fact, they put us in the room with the worst view possible, all the way up the hill despite others being empty. When I went down to ask if we could upgrade to another room with a sea view, they said it would cost about $60 a night to upgrade. I asked to see the room, and they wouldn't let me! They told me nobody on the island shows rooms to people (a lie as the day after we looked at other hotels and every single one of them showed us their rooms). So naturally we didn't upgrade. I still don't understand why you wouldn't show the merchandise you're trying to sell? Perhaps the upgraded rooms are really bad? The infinity pool is great, has an awesome view but the cheaper bamboo rooms are way up a very steep hill. Also mosquito-infested. Plus, this place is quite a walk up from the rest of the village but doesn't make up for it with quietness at night since the booming electronic music is just across the water.

Book this hotel if you: Like loud music from 10:30 AM to 01:00 AM (!) Like being treated unfriendly by staff (except one receptionist) Like exactly the same breakfast day by day by day Like begging for some Bread or fruit when you come to breakfast 15 minutes before closing Like to pay 50% more as for a 80 Sqm Suite in BKK but just get basic furnished bungalow with mosicitos and cockroaches (neighbor found a snake in her bathroom) Like bad WiFi ............ If you like all of this, this hotel is your paradise! For normal people...don’t go there. Their staff hates you!

Nice rooms and staff, a little outside the village”
i stayed in phuphaya for two nights with my girlfriend in one of the fan-cooled bamboo bungalows. it after two weeks travelling around the islands this is one of the nicest of the "on the beach bungalow style" places we have stayed. th resort is a 10 minute walk from the main beach and maybe 20 minutes from the pier. though we didn't send our arrival time ahead a representative met us off the boat and carted our backpacks ahead of us to the resort. the last part of the walk is up a very steep hill so this was great. we had breakfast included - it was only okay, maybe not worth the extra cost as you'll get a nice breakfast for the same price in the town. i'd recommend this place to any budget-conscious visitor to koh phi phi if you don't mind the short steep walk to the town.

We stayed in fan bungalow. On our first night we were acquainted with the termite nest in our roof which made its way down onto our bed and floor. We told staff the next day and they moved us happily to the bungalow next to ours. They were also very proactive about fixing the issue and had the room cleaned out/ fumigated etc. The staff there are very friendly and helpful. They were waiting for us at the pier on arrival to help with our bags without us even notifying them earlier and they also helped us back to the pier after checkout. The views here are beautiful, but beware that this comes at a price of to having to hike up a hill to get to the hotel (and even in the hotel down to the restaurant and bar from the rooms). We didn't mind this at all really. I would recommend getting an air con room here though because Phi Phi is hot. Especially when the hotel doesn't have a pool and the beach isn't nice to swim in on this part of the island (low tide means very shallow and often dirty). An air con room would offer a cool sanctuary. In saying this though there is a very nice area down by the water of the hotel with sun lounges and access to the water to swim if you like (just no beach, and sometimes dirty). While the staff were very accommodating and the hotel nice enough we wouldn't stay here again. The noise from the beach every night (starting about 5-6pm and turning off at 2am like clockwork) echoes straight up to Phuphaya and is pretty loud. We noticed it was actually quieter down closer to the beach and back from the beach away from the speakers. We also probably won't return back to Phi Phi again. This island is far too full of young party-goers out for a good time, and given there is a party every night its just too rowdy and dirty.

A private treehouse in the jungle with a seaview”
My stay at Phuphaya Seaview Resort was mostly positive. However, if you want to be really close to the beach, this is not the right hotel for you. It's about a 10-12 minute walk to the beach, and on an incline. It's also very dirty around the hotel, which is pretty much a characteristic of Phi Phi, rather than the hotel itself, which is very clean. The dinner at the hotel restaurant is great, and there is a private bar with beautiful seating outdoors. The breakfast is not very good, so I would recommend going elsewhere. My only other warning is that Phi Phi Beach is an all night party until about 3 AM, which you can hear crystal clear from your room. If you are not up for partying, you should consider a different island for resting at night. I was amazed by how loud the music is! This hotel feels like a cute little treehouse in the jungle, overlooking the sea. I enjoyed my stay here.

Loved Phuphaya - what a view from the pool! The staff were a bit iffy...not the friendliest lot but highly effective. They fetched us from the pier and took us back when we departed, as we definitely would not have made it up that hill with our luggage. I's a 3 min steep climb to Phuphaya - having said that it was worth it to be a bit further away from the madness that is Phi Phi beach. The super loud music until 2am is really over the top. My friend booked the deluxe aircon suite right at the front and her bed was literally vibrating from the music. My little fan hut at the back was actually better for sleeping. Nice breakfast, beautiful place. I would stay here again.

It's location means that you can escape the madness that is Ko Phi Phi but be withing touching distance of the ocean and a short walk from the town. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Phuphaya Seaview Resort. Liked the location, away from the busyness of Kho Phi Phi which was refreshing. The resort is on quite a steep hill, but we enjoyed the exercise walking to our room (which was quite a work-out!) I wouldn`t recommend this hotel to anyone who has trouble walking though.

a lovely hotel with great seaview”
it takes 10 minutes walking from the phi phi port to get this hotel. it is easy to find it since the hotel will send someone to pick you up at the port and guide you to get to it. it is located at the hill and a bit secluded from the crowd and the loud noise of phi phi island. my husband and i felt so relax here. the hotel area is wide and surrounded with green trees and beautiful flowers. the room is clean, air conditioned, and of course hot water. there is a fine distance from one bungalow to another. free wi-fi is available but due to bad weather (we went there on december), we found it hard to get connected to it. the hotel serves breakfast, you can choose one menu out of three. the seaview from this hotel is breathtaking, my husband enjoyed taking pictures. we would like to stay here again someday.
