Lovely views but out in the sticks and understaffed”
My review is somewhat biased because I can't ride a motorbike so had to walk from the resort to the beaches. It isn't easy to get motorbike taxi once you have left the port area. It is a long walk of 40 mins or so to the two main beaches. Walking back in the evening is dangerous because of the packs of aggressive wild dogs. I also got covered in sand-fly bites and had to go to the clinic for stronger antihistamine tablets than I had with me and cream. I was waiting for almost an hour for someone to check me in. I had arrived an hour before the check-in time, but it was 1pm. The resort doesn't serve lunch or dinner despite menus strewn around - I guess that is because most of their guests eat at the beach. They do serve breakfast but it is not recommended: I had to wait about 30 minutes to order and then, after a long while, a very cold plate of fried eggs and toast arrived (obviously cooked off site!) The rooms are lovely but you can hear everything from your neighbour's hut.

The bamboobungalows are looking very beautiful. But it is visible that they are a few years old. So screws peeped out - which seemes to me very dangerous. The resort is located in the middle of the island, next to the loud and dusty road. The 25 min. walk to the beach is very dangerous because of the scooters and very aggressive dogs. The dogs are also the reason that it is impossible to sleep. They are barking and fighting all night long. The staff is also the most time not at the resort. That is why you have to leave your stay and walk along the road if you are hungry.

Genau der richtige Platz wenn man Ruhe sucht und nicht unbedingt direkt am Strand sein Bungalow haben muss. Habe das Bambus Bungow zufällig günstig im Angebot gebucht und war sehr positiv überrascht! Sehr uhrige Bauart aber sehr sauber, tolles Frühstück und sehr höfliches Personal! Günstiger Rollerverleih möglich mit dem man in ca. 10min am Strand ist! Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Ein 2014 erbautes kleines Resort. Die Hütten sind komplett aus Bambus und eine Schau. Durch die erhöhte Lage auf einem Hügel in der Nacht einigermaßen kühl. Sehr sauber. Toiletten und Bad einwandfrei. Negativ: Da die Hütten sehr offen sind nichts für Angsthasen, es kommt schon mal ein Geko rein. Großes Bett mit Moskitonetz. Ein besonderes Erlebnis!
