    Excellent accommodation ”

Had booked the bungalow room however the staff kindly upgraded us to the superior city view room in which we spent two nights. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and everything in the room worked. The staff were very helpful in answering our questions and the breakfast served was very good. Also ate at the restraurant for lunch and found the food quality to be high. Overall the stay and food is a little more expensive than other places however it was worth it for us.

    Friendly staff, nice room view”

Friendly staff, close to Sapa market, mountain view

We traveled in a group of 4 (2 males, 2 females) and it was our first time to Sapa as well so we chose this hotel based on reviews. The hotel looked warm to begin with, the lobby has the look over mountain area which we really enjoyed while waiting to be checked in. As we arrived early, it took a while before the room got ready but it gave us a chance to find out the Sapa market is just 5 mins walk from hotel. Hotel room was value for money, except the fact that no closet inside.

    Not recommended at all ”

We are staying two night in this hotel , one night still to go , but the kind the service hotel is providing made me to write review before I finished my stay!! Start with the Room , room have nice ambience and good view that’s it !! When we checked in room we found refrigerator was not working and and wash room doesn’t have jet ! I went down by stairs to reception to tell them as there is no phone at room and no lift in the hotel .. so if any thing go wrong have to walk down to the reception!! If you are lucky you will find receptionist there !! They send someone to fix refrigerator but she went back and dis mental the tv plug !! After 10 minutes one guy came and fixed the fridge for us !! Late night we found there is no water in washroom !! And no water until next day evening!!! No water literally mean not a drop of water in washroom .. we did brush our teeth with Aquafina bottle .. During morning breakfast we found that juice stuck in the tap , I informed the chief near by there .. he put his mouth direct in tap of juice and strt blowing the the air in tap !! Yes juice came !! But who will that juice after seeing that !! .. overall this hotel spoil our mood continues!! We stayed at room in room no 303!!

A metal container kind of room”

We were there during winter and the room was basically a metal container. It was a very cold room as the walls were made of metal and glass. The floor was so cold that my feet hurt when I walked on it. The metal wall was just a thin sheet of metal and we could hear guests talking in the next room very clearly. It was also very cold during showers. We were only given 1 radiator and when we asked for another one, the staff told us that the electrical supply could not support 2 radiators in each room. There were also several electricity cut off. When that happened, some of the power points in the room could not work and we had to move the radiator to the power point that was working. There also wasn't any TV in the room although it was supposed to have it.

    Boutique Heaven”

Having been fortunate to have chosen to stay at Boutique Sa Pa Hotel, we were greeted as extended family upon our arrival at 6:30 a.m. from the Lao Cai train. The entire staff were warm and welcoming. In particular Thuong, Huyen Tran and Son Vu made our stay memorable in so many ways that we could not recommend this hotel highly enough. The quality of the meals from award winning chefs were beyond compare, as was the view out the panoramic windows to the Fanxipan Mountains. Warm comfortable beds of an evening, in spacious rooms, ensured we were ready for each new day started by a wonderful fresh breakfast in the restaurant. A big Thank you all of the team at Boutique Sa Pa for making our stay so wonderful.

    Great ”

We had a big room with wonderful valley views. Breakfast was good, location was perfect. Staff was helpful but didn't smile as much as we are used to in Vietnam. We would definitely recommend this place. Tours offered by them are very over priced. Book somewhere else your tours. Pick-up from lao cai station they Will arrange for 50.000 dong per person.

Great service with a great view”

We stayed 2 nights here and had a wonderful time. We were able to check in at 10am having just got off the overnight train. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were very accommodating. The main lady at reception speaks excellent English and was hugely helpful. She works had and isnt at all pushy with their tours or services. The perfect host. The rooms are spacious, clean and cool. We had uninterrupted views of the valley from our room, which is the same view you get from their restaurant. Our only real criticism is our bathroom was a bit rundown. Still clean though. Overall we had a great stay here, it was excellent value for money and would happily stay again.

Chef Son made our stay great”

After taking an overnight bus from Hanoi to Sapa arriving at 5:30 am, we were unsure of whether or not we could leave our things at the hotel for the morning before checking in at noon. Chef Son greeted us with a warm smile and notified us that we could check into our room early for half the price of a nights stay. His English was superb and he was knowledgable in helping us choose an afternoon hike to do to nearby Catcat village. Only complaint was that the shower was actually painful- pressure was so hard that water stung our bodies and was hard to find a comfortable temp between scorching hot and too cold. Other than that facilities were clean and comfortable!

Comfortable and friendly place in great location.”

Location was excellent and the hotel was very good value for money. Rooms were comfortable (although balconies quite small) and food mostly good - especially the local dishes.

Enjoyed the stay (two nights) and found the staff friendly and generally very helpful. Did need to insist on getting the rooms with balconies that we had booked on line rather than what they initially allocated but this was rectified straight away when we pointed it out. The views of the valley and part of town were beautiful from the balconies and the restaurant. Local food dishes were excellent - not the local wine though! Would definitely go back.

    don't book garden view”

stafff work hard and try to help you everything

First we came and try to check in early they won't let us so we went out until 1 pm. we came back and check in. The room is big the garden view has only 2 rooms in the basement the view is someone else vegetable garden. The bed is hard, bathroom is wet after shower never dry out, not enough outlet at the first night and breakfast is not that good. I recommencement to book more expensive room and get better view somewhere else. Sapa is small town nicer hotels all over. Be prepare to answer where are you from? everywhere you go hill tribes will looking for you. Have fun!

The hotel is okay. The staff is very nice and friendly. The food is excellent. There's a billard board on the 2nd floor which you can play for free. The hotel is near the old market. Sometimes there is traffic jam because of narrow road.

The welcome here with a hot cinammon tea on a cold day was warmth and comfort especially after the train trip. The staff were always happy and most obliging and the food was excellent. Overlooking Sa Pa Valleys - Boutique Hotel”

    Location, Food-Hotpots, Restaurant Staff

We had a street view room with a shared balcony with another room. The security is minimal. The location is great and the restaurant has views and a balcony over the rice valleys. Breakfast was available upon our early arrival from Lao Cai. We were able to book into the room at 11am. So in the meantime we had the opportunity to walk the local streets and view the market. OTHER ADVICE transport to BOUTIQUE SA PA HOTEL: I recommend buying your bus transit ticket or arranging hotel pickup from Lao Cai to avoid the unpredictable, excessive taxi fares at the train station prior to the opening hours of the local businesses at 9am (they look open but for cleaning). The taxi owners start their mini-bus fares as you walk from the station entrance/exit at 300,000-250,000vnd and negotiate downwards to 70,000vnd by the time you wait for the second train and it's passengers to arrive at the terminal. The true price is never known. The travel agents say about 50,000vnd per person. But it can be much cheaper if you arrange earlier with the intended hotel. (off course private car is more expensive) Taxi with meters and more than one or two travellers may be more reasonable.

Good location, walking distance to town and markets

Our room was very comfortable with a lovely balcony to sit and enjoy the street sights. Not in a quiet location but central to all restaurants and shopping.A little more expensive than some of the other hotels that offer the same or even better service. The food in the restaurant was very good. The view from the restaurant looks out over the mountains and is quite scenic.
