A very good camp site.
A sufficient facilities with good location camp site. This area had power supplies and warm air supply. When I go to pica, it was very cool weather, may be -5'c. The warm air supply is very important to let the beginer to excessive a camping safety. I was highly recommended to all overseas people that you want to make happy camping experience, if you can not bring enough gear. However, you need driving and bring enough foods.

Back to nature, comfort at home
Eventhough the place is quite far and only access by car, this place is a must visit if you are an adventurous & nature lover

It's camping with extras
Beautiful surrounds, access to hiking, plenty of optionals
We stayed in the Tents in the middle of OF winter and had lots of concerns going into this option for accommodation...we were pleasantly surprised. The tent was spacious with clean wooden floor and blessedly a very effective heater. There are all kinds of things for rent but the rental option is very over priced. We opted to buy food and BBQ utensils at Kawaguchi and bring everything with. Shared toilets, showers and washing up areas were fairly well maintained. There were many activities but again a little over priced. The location is right on the "green line" sight seeing bus route with makes it fairly convenient to access the tourist attractions and hiking in the area (you can buy a 2 day unlimited hop on-off ticket for the green/red line bus system). We experience 3 different staff members 1 spoken English and was extremely helpful and was full of suggestions. There are a full variety of "camping" options if I was to return I would probably chose the fixed trailer/camper option it looked very cosy. There is an amazing view of Fuji IF you make the 1.5 km hike up the nearest mountain, well worth the hike. It is not a hotel but was a very interesting accommodation option.
