A hotel is gorgeous suitable for a couple and travelling provided that without some leptide in a room it will be perfectly and best plight.

Nice relaxing place, but no food nearby”
The resort itself was a relaxing, quiet space with nice trees, fish pond, etc. The rooms were big with nice windows, but the beds were old and uncomfortable. The pool was very dirty. Unfortunately, I think due to Covid, the guest numbers are down, so no hotel restaurant was open. Don't stay here without your own car because no food places are nearby at all.

It's quite an impressive resort situated some 120 kilometers from Phetchabun city. The rooms are fairly comfortable certainly for the price. The wifi worked well in our room as did the shower. Would I recommend the Picha Waree resort, most certainly.

It was a stopover resort and easy to find just off the highway....lots of signs. The pool was a bonus but you'll definitely need a vehicle to pop into Si Thep for food. Bed was comfortable, standard for Thailand, but for the price, it was fine.

The staffs was very rude and suspicious (because we are strangers from Europe), and she didn't trust we are living in Bangkok (we were 4 families of expats from BKK) and we are not coming from abroad. It was almost racist honestly the way she talked to us. Then the hotel is cheap and clean but the pool was so dark/green we didn't put a toe in it, disgusting. No restaurant, no breakfast.

The price was cheap so my expectation were not high but 2 things that a old hotel can still provide is a good welcoming and cleaning the swimming pool The lady at the reception make us wait for 20min while talking with her colleague and were not nice when she arrive (seems piss off with us) and the swimming pool was green, no explanation or apologies from them... Will not go back.

A Pleasant Countryside Hotel”
The main appeal of this part of Thailand is the nearby Si Thep Historical Park, where you can see ruins from the ancient Dvaravati and Angkor kingdoms. This hotel is a good base for those ruins if you have your own car, but you can also do it under your own steam. It is about 7km out of the small town of Si Thep, and you can organize a samlor to bring you out here and then on to the ruins if you wish. This can even be done with minimal Thai language skills with a bit of persistence. The hotel itself has pluses and minuses. For $15 a night it feels like a real bargain. It has tropical resort style flourishes such as a pool, fish ponds and lush gardens. The rooms are simple but adequate with a nice TV and tasteful trimmings. The wi-fi was also good. On the down side, the cafe never once opened during our stay. Fortunately, there is a decent Thai restaurant across the road. A lack of Engish among staff also made things challenging.

Picha Waree Resort is in the middle of no where. The closest city of any size was 2 miles away. It had some shopping and eating, but no night life. But, if you are looking for a nice, quite, clean hotel, this is the place.

Disappointing”
Here is the truth. This resort? With its dirty disgusting swiimming pool is situated in the middle of nowhere. It's a 22 kilometer round trip by car to the nearest coffee shop/restaurant. You cannot pull up the window blinds in the day time unless you want to fry like an egg or until 5.30pm plus your exposed to every Tom, Dick and Harry that walks past our room with its floor to ceiling windows. So you can stay in your room with false lighting "like a vampire in a coffin. There were no slippers or outside breakfast facilities as advertised by Agoda. You have a choice of ants or live lizard "like we had in our room, which the lizard loved to crap on the floor all the time "free of charge. The bathroom door is falling apart. The coat hangers in the wardrobe were all Rusted up. The tap in the bathroom sprays water all over the countertop. The blinds in the room when you pull the cord they go up on a 45 degree angle, as the people here are to lazy to fix things. When the cleaner comes in she leaves the front door open to allow flies and mosquitoes to come into the room Thanks! There is no security to counteract any potential or unwanted outsiders and a few minutes away is shanty town. The previous reviews I have read on Agoda are a load of rubbish false and misleading especially the one posted on Agoda on the 2nd page of Verified reviews stating as follows "Very nice hotel located near all the shopping centers and not far from the airport. There is a good restaurant nearby serving all 3 main courses on top of that hotel offers a good w-ifi free of charge. Nice and clean rooms with a good staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. You can't beat the price. Thanks for the misleading posting as I made my decision to stay at Picha Waree because of this, there are no shopping centers, No airport, No restaurant nearby and the Wifi is restricted to one device only we are a couple with 2 cellphones and 1 IPad. Nice stopover Hotel”
Very well kept and maintained hotel...nice gardens, pond and grounds. Staff very friendly. Rooms comfortable, big comfy beds, nice big windows. Wifi is very patchy though. Location isnt very good as its on main route 21...if u want to eat you need transport to go 5-6kms towards Phetchabun. Hotel has beers and snacks for sale. But yes a good hotel for a short stopover.

I have stayed here several times as it is near my girlfriend's mother. It is very clean and has a nice pool. The staff do a great job of cleaning up everyday and are friends and helpful. If you want to get away from the bars and agogos for some quite time, this is the place.
