Amazing hotel and location”
Great location and close to the heart of the city and to the waterfront and public transport. Hotel was spacious, modern and staff where very helpful and lovely. If I was to return back to Vancouver I would definitely stay here again, without question. Highly recommend
Great Views but small beds”
Really liked the facility and location by the water. Not as many close restaurants / shops to walk to as other areas of Vancouver. Parking was very expensive. "Double" beds were smaller than expected. Room was clean and well laid out with views of the water. Nice workout facility and decent size pool. Bar had a big view and service was very good.
11 night stay from a solo travelers view”
I stayed at this hotel for 11 nights in March 2019, the location is excellent for the convention center but also the rest of downtown, I got a pretty good deal on the price. 150 AUD for a king bed room with harbour views, I was on the 18th floor and the views where stunning, room was clean and check in was fast. Some of the draw backs where loud AC and the elevators are currently being updated so they are a bit slow, another downside was the cleaning service was hit and miss, first week it was all good but the last couple days of the stay the cleaner seemed to do it half arsed. Another small thing to not for couples is that it is an older building so the walls are quite thin so just keep that in mind as the rooms next to yours will be able to hear late night activities... otherwise great hotel and I definitely would stay there again
Good hotel in good location”
Nice hotel , helpful staff especially the concierge, near to Harbourfront and Canada Place. Experienced problems at the restaurant. Our dinner was served after 45 minutes. Tried to buy sandwiches for breakfast and was told by the waiter to pay at Front Desk who in turn told me to pay at the restaurant.
Very good”
We stayed here after returning to Vancouver from an Alaskan cruise. As it is cruise season in Vancouver, the room was expensive. The hotel is in a great location - very close to Canada place and the water. We found the staff a little unhelpful and unwilling to accommodate. A few amenities should be added to the room such as cotton swabs and shower caps. Also one of the elevators was a little sketchy and frightened another guest and I as it seemed it was jolting up and down. The location of our room in particular was a little weird. We had a nice view but it was tricky to find as it was in a corner.
Stunning Vancouver Harbour Views, WOW!!”
While the rooms are a bit dated, the absolutely perfect downtown location more than makes up for it! A 5 min walk takes you to the Canada Place waterfront (including the not-to-be-missed Cactus Club), 10 min walking to shops along Robson and the music scene along Granville. Plus the Waterfront Skytrain station is 6 min, where you can hit Metrotown, Chinatown and even the airport in Richmond! Our room #735 had an ocean-view balcony, fstv, minifridge, free Wifi, great toiletries, power shower and a comfy bed. There's a bar/restaurant with a regular happy hour and ocean views! Overall, highly recommend 😉
Great pre-cruise location”
We stayed here before our Alaskan Cruise. The location was fabulous. It was walking distance to the cruise terminal. We also walked along the harbor and down to Gas Town. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We recommend the "Market" about a block away for a casual lunch or dinner. While very pricey, the hotel was extremely nice and was the perfect location for our needs. They have a very nice pool and hot tub. Bicycles were available, although sadly we didn't have time to take advantage of them. They would be perfect for a ride to Stanley Park.
Great value, great hotel! ”
My friends and I stayed here for our girls night out. It was a great deal for the 4 of us. Great location close by to everything. Would stay here again
Great location. ”
The hotel is conveniently located. Harbor view rooms. Great staff. One minus point for paper thin walls. You can hear comings and going’s a tad too clearly.
Great experience”
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked two rooms. They were also extremely accommodating in giving ya rooms close together. The view of the water was breathtaking and overall had a really good experience. The room was clean, and it was just what needed. We didn’t get to check out the pool, but I’m sure it was fine. Would come back again.
Wonderful Experience”
We were totally impressed with the hotel, staff and restaurant. Service was excellent . Cannot find one negative thing to stay.
Perfect spot to mix business with leisure”
Clean and cosy. Close to downtown, with a nice view on the Harbor. Close to Stanley Park for jogging
Exceptional”
Hotel room was very comfortable and quiet. Great location overlooking the waterfront.
Extremely Comfortable and clean.”
What a wonderful Hotel. Views were divine from our balcony. Food in restaurant was excellent. Will go back again soon.
Good hotel in great location ”
Perfect hotel for what I needed. Rooms and facilities were a little dated, but good. Great location, views and nice staff
Above average”
As warned by signs in the lobby, the elevators were hopelessly broken; out of 4 elevators going up, only two worked. I waited around 15 minutes for an elevator to go down at some point. A different time, I had to press the "going up" button to get an elevator to come pick me up even though I was going down, because the "going down" button was malfunctioning. The best part came on Saturday night; I had a business meeting to go to, but only a single elevator was in service, and it was malfunctioning. The doors would open and close repeatedly from 5 to 15 times for every floor it would move. They had an employee in there trying to deal with it but he was not being very successful. I tried to take the stairs down to get to my meeting on time, but it turns out the stairs don't lead to the lobby; someone from the hotel saw I looked lost and had to take me through some kitchen and back areas to get to the lobby. The hot tub was also kinda dirty; you could see scum on the bubbles.
Good view hotel in the city”
Good view hotel in the city. Nice staffs. The parking fee is really expensive.
Start to Canada holiday”
Lovely hotel and fantastic staff. All were really helpful.
Beds are too small ”
We booked a room of two queen beds for 4 people. But we got a room with two full size beds. We desided change hotel after one night without good sleep
Good location and Clean Room”
The room is clean. The location is a walking distance to malls and a few steps away from the posh supermarket.
