Good quality for price”
The room was very cleaning and nice, one of the best we had in Cambodia. The lady on the counter did not speak english but we managed everythink with owner and she was very nice. Not right in the city center but very near by. Great internet connection.

Awful place! Thiefs, irresponsible staff, no service!”
1) There is nobody there who speaks English. When we came to check-in, a local woman was sitting in a sleepwear and watching her phone. We said "hello" and she didn't react. We tried to find somebody, who can check-in us, and in 5 minutes only a local woman gave us the phone, the owner told that we can go to our room. If we had any requests, like drinking water or changing towels, nobody was there to talk with us. If you want to find the owner, you should pray to khmer gods to make her come there by accident. 2) While your absence staff (same local woman in sleepwear) comes to your room with her own key!!! For what? She just takes old towels (without change to new ones, doesnt give new soap, water), and looks for smth in YOUR bags and clothes! We noticed that twice, she just comes as to her home! We didn't have anything valuable in the room on that time, but just imagine if we did! Once she came in with her own key when I was in a bed naked. What's that, excuse me? Am I in a hotel or what? 3) When you enter a guesthouse, it is required to put off your shoes, It is normal in every asian country, okay. They have gates, that protects the hotel, and they have a reception, that has to be occupied time to time. In theory. On practice nobody is there and gates are opened to everyone 24 hours. One night a dog came and took my shoes. She ate one of them (totally, no reparation is possible). Nice and almost new sport shoes, that I bought not for cheap price. And... yes, there was nobody to talk to about that, because nobody speaks English! In the evening a husband of the owner came and said smth like "I dont care, it is your problem, I am not responsible for that". So, who is responsible? For your gates, for your reception, for your dogs? Me? And some small things as: a door to the toilet didn't close, and water in the shower had such low pressure, that you have to wash yourself during half hour. That is why I do not recommend anyone to stay there. Even small price d

Not great walking back at night”
I wasn't very comfortable walking back there at night in the dark with lots of dogs around. Most of the time we got a tuk tuk because of this. Maybe you are not as sensitive as me. Rooms are nice but they are noisy. Staff quite often not around.

Nice time at Piphub Thmey Guesthouse :)”
It was a really nice stay at this place, the room was clean and the private bathroom was one of the best we had during our entire trip through Asia. The WIFI was excellent and fast and the staff was really friendly and helpful:) Unfortunately, the government closed the old bridge a few weeks ago, which is the fastest way from the hotel to the city (about 5-7 min). The good news is: you can still cross it by climbing over the fence or railing and walking 2-3 meters on a pipe like all the locals do. It's a small adventure but it can be done without any problems. We liked this place very much and recommend it.

New claen guest house but a little bit far away”
The guest house is new and claen but has no place to relax or hangout. Our room had no window. You have to walk about 10-15 minutes to the city centre (crossing the old bridge).

The hostel is a bit far from the center, but still within walking distance (10min). The room was clean&nice.but really hot&stuffy. The staff was very nice&helped us with a booking of a bus&the renting of a motorcycle. It was value for the money.
