Expensive for the place mostly for indian standards but not for European ones. Breakfast not good for occidental people. Humidity in the room. Internet not working very well.

Hillview is the lodge its located at the top of munnar hills.. ah water is too cold in that area. If u turn on the water tap u get ice cold water. Rooms are large and clean.. bed sheets blankets are clean and fresh.. if you visiting first time to kerala n if u are pure vegitarian then dont forget to take pounds of bread and jam with you.. its hard to get pure veg hotels

Old dirty Hotel with unprofessional staff ”

Hotel on main road old stinking room and bathrooms , we have to sign for the mini bar items when we enter-the room , never happened to me anywhere so far traveled 20+ countries, took 20 minutes for check in It was a big mistake by booking here, Small room

The hotel is located 6 min walk from the District Tourist Office, and another 25 min walk to old Munnar.Only 50 rupie in a tuk tuk from Hotel to old Munnar. The Tourism office operate 3 good day tours to the surounding attractions for 400 rupies each. My favourite was The Sandel Valley Tour, because you see the best scenery from high up. The hotel rooms were very clean, large with hot shower and good wifi. Execellent included breakfast, with lunch and dinner available from their good restaurant

Brilliant hotel at reasonable rates”

There were two of us and we were looking for a place to stay and we were on a budget. We looked this hotel on Agoda and we booked out of instinct. We reached the place very quickly since it's easily accessible and auto drivers know it. The hotel is located in a very quaint, warm location. We were really impressed by the location of this hotel. A nice steam of water flows in front and there's a thicket of trees right in front. The staff was very helpful, they gave us the room keys with all the necessary instructions.. about the hot water timings (11-5 and 5-11), breakfast timings etc. We were given a room on third floor. The staff guided us to the rooms and explained how the key at the door worked.. mini fridge is loaded with goodies and other important details. We were carrying only backpacks and we opted to carry it ourselves. The room was neat, tidy, stacked with all the basic amenities (water heater, coffee sachets, sugar etc.) The bed was neat.. and trust me a beautiful room.

I think, now Munnar is over crowded & lost its beauty & cold. We do not feel much cold even in January.
