It’s 10Km form sapa to the tavan, I ask them for domes quastions about the room they are not replying me. And I rent a moto to the village but on they way the tavan needs tickets. But I don’t know befor So I don’t go to the house at all.

The owner is nice and helpful. The location is not really near the centre of Sapa town but it's a great place to experience highlands life.

Good place to stay”

We stayed in Tavan Chopai Homestay for one week. It was nice, not very special but the owner and his family were lovely and helpful! There was a familydinner with other guests and the owner family and food was great, it was also nice to meet new people. When we stayed here it was really bad weather in Sapa, so I think this Homestay is a wonderful place in the summertime.

i like the style homestay here.people here are great,speak very good english,helpful.only thing is that shouldnt keep the dog indoor which push our room's door open,then laying down there.but not big deal.

Bit out of town but fantastic home stay ”

Family dinners are a MUST! Fantastic food and plenty of rice wine! Accommodation very basic but for the money GREAT value ❤️❤️

Homestay style hostel ”

Very friendly staff, good location. Do the family dinner - lots of great food and copious amounts of "happy water" (home brew rice wine). Bed mattress was a bit uncomfortable but had a reasonable sleep for a one night stay in a dorm style room on the top level.

Modest but does the job - incredible location”

We stayed for just an overnight and enjoyed our stay because Ta Van is so beautiful. The homestay is basic but you get what you need. The only thing I would recommend for future travellers is be sure to have warm clothes for the evenings and be sure to have a way to keep your valuables safe (I just kept everything on me) since there is no safe / locking area. Great wifi! Lovely staff, too.

Chopai Home stay ”

Booked After reading reviews well was disappointed ok its a home stay but the place was of low standard , first mattresses was the same density as concrete, the second was a little better ,rooms are just made of paper thin bamboo sheeting hear every think in the next room, from a fart to a moan , Shower had low pressure had to sit on the toilet to get it to flow so as to get hot water , The place is in need of maintenance for the price you will get better and ,for a few dollars more you get a lot better> the young fellow that runs it for his grand mother is a top bloke and well educated , but i got the felling he just dose not want to be there so there is no real care taken of the place .

Honestly, this place was amazing. The staff is so incredibly helpful, always there to answer any questions you might have and just so friendly. They do a family dinner every night which is a great way to meet people and the food, especially the spring rolls, are absolutely amazing. If you want to do a homestay in Sapa, I cant recommend this place enough.

I can't say enough how much I enjoyed my stay here. Thanh and his family really care about their guests and do their best to make sure everyone I comfortable. DONT MISS FAMILY dinner, it is still the best meal I've had in all of Vietnam. Very reasonable pricing. We arrived around 630 am, were greeted with hot tea and breakfast and able to check in by 730 or 8 am. You can rent motorbikes, organize treks and taxis, anything you want. Mosquito nets, comfy bed, fans, etc. Overall amazing experience, will be back with friends!

We looked for this place high and low and couldn't find it. If you choose this location I suggest getting very precise directions from host. We were disappointed because we would have loved to have stayed there.
