Very good
I was assigned to the 3rd floor, and although they said they can't speak Korean well, they actually communicated very well, so there were no issues. I stayed for three nights, and they helped me with the electric bike rental as well. The room condition was moderate, and the hygiene of the restroom and bathroom was quite good. The lobby was a bit small, making it a bit inconvenient, but most things could be solved in the room after going out. It's very quiet since it's near a residential area. Although check-out time is 10 AM, when I asked if I could leave my luggage, they said I could leave it in the room. In fact, other places usually have you leave your bags in the lobby. I was surprised. I could drink water from the kitchen purifier, but the lobby was always crowded, making it hard to go there. There are two showers on the first floor, one of which has a bathtub. Although I didn't need to use the bathtub, it's important that it was there. It was surprisingly spacious. The towels were always fluffy, which felt nice. Since we are near the sea, maybe they prepared large towel-like blankets in case the beds weren’t dry enough. I slept well on top of them. I had a heavy bag and struggled to go up to the 3rd floor, but they were very kind to say that if I informed them in advance, they would help me down. I didn’t inform them in advance, but I managed to get down somehow; after all, kindness is the basis of service. Overall, I had a satisfying stay, and I would rate it about 4 out of 5 stars based on my criteria. The 1 point deduction is because the lounge was small and a bit crowded; it’s a bit dirty on the floor from other people using it, so I wiped it with wet wipes. There was no inconvenience in using the place, and being on the 3rd floor, I enjoyed the sound of rain falling softly. During my stay, I had a good time without any issues or troubles with other guests. Thank you!
돌아갈 때 만날 수 없어서 미안합니다 수하물 운반에 함들었죠 도와주고 싶었어요 좋은 일본 여행을 해주세요 머물러 주셔서 감사합니다
There’s some bad reviews on booking.com but I was very glad to have chosen this place to stay the night. Location and price is a good value for Kamakura. It’s located near to the sea which would be great in the summer. Not too far from the train station and Main Street. Check in was easy and the friendly host also offered to lend me his bike to cycle around. Others would say the living room and kitchen is messy and crowded but it’s really not bad and the rooms, toilets and bathroom is clean. It’s cozy and homey; home away from home. I could see myself living there. Please give this place a chance. It’s fantastic!
A very basic room ,but clean. Shared toilet and separate shower on a different floor.every where in this property except your room is unbelievably cluttered ,there is clutter throughout ,you cannot walk without tripping up for stuff on the floors .even the outside space is full of clutter.that is why I would not recommend to anyone elderly as I am . It's very difficult to even find a place to sit because every bit of space is full of stuff.the owner is great and speaks good English.
The staff and their families have been in the living room continuously from noon until dawn, so the living room is currently (....) unavailable for use. The only place to wash up is on the first floor, which made it uncomfortable as I had to run into them every time I went to wash up. The individual rooms are nice and have a pleasant fragrance. The laundry and vacuum cleaner are always in use, and it’s tidy! It was great that bikes and umbrellas were available for rent. The location is on the beach side, which is good for surfers, but since I mainly used the city side, it was a bit inconvenient for me. Not many people likely plan a long schedule in Kamakura, but I would recommend it for a short visit.

“A place I want to visit again.”
Originally, we planned to go to Kamakura for a day trip, but later decided to stay for one night. After considering the location and price, we chose to stay at Plaza Yuigahama. Yuigahama Beach is a popular spot for locals who enjoy surfing and swimming in the summer, so we intentionally booked this accommodation to enjoy the beach as well (the beach is a 3-minute walk from the accommodation). I heard that the owner teaches surfing, but we weren't quite prepared for that, so we didn't ask! Instead, we borrowed a tube from the owner and played with it. They were really friendly, and thanks to that, we had a lot of fun~ Oh, and the owner speaks Korean very well! There were no communication issues at all, and they were very kind, making for a happy time hehe. After playing in the water, the owner made us takoyaki. It was my first time trying kimchi takoyaki, and it was really delicious! It was kimchi takoyaki with seaweed instead of bonito flakes, and it was super tasty, hahaha. I spent a great evening talking with the friendly and entertaining owner and other guests at the accommodation, and that dinner became a happy memory that I will never forget for the rest of my life. Many regulars were there that day, and everyone was kind and created a family-like atmosphere that made me not want to go back to my room. Thank you, Plaza Yuigahama, for creating such joyful memories!! I sincerely recommend it~ - Room size: Not large. However, it was enough for just sleeping, so I had no major discomfort! - Bathroom: There's one on each floor. I never encountered an inconvenient situation where someone was using it. - Shower room: Equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body towels. Just bring your own foam cleanser. Both hot and cold water worked well, and the water pressure was strong and good! Towels are also available for use as you wish~ - Living room: Everyone gathers here to watch TV, eat, and chat, but it was smaller than expected. However, the small space created a more family-like atmosphere, and I was able to enjoy my time~ If friends around me say they are going to Kamakura, I definitely want to recommend it, and if I come to Japan again, I want to stay in this guesthouse for a long time. The neighborhood of Kamakura itself is so beautiful that I felt like I wanted to live there. This accommodation made my memories in this beautiful town even more lovely! Thank you, and I hope to meet again~
