Value for Money”
We can't decide where to stay in Batangas and after an hour of driving around the city we got lucky and saw that there's a vacant room in Pontefino Hotel and Residences. Checking in was smooth and fast. The room was very spacious even my daughter can run around without bumping into something. We enjoyed dipping in the pool especially is not really deep. My wife can't swim, so it was perfect for her. Getting a parking spot is quite a challenge since there's an on going construction which limit the space for parking. Also residential area is off limits to hotel visitors.

This hotel is in a very nice enclave in Batangas City few blocks from rhe ocean. The hotel doesn't look dated but more modern and well maintained, kudos to Mr Gutierrez the owner. The rooms were well maintained and large and has mini fridge and working A/C. The free breakfast was fine but as usual anytime there is a free buffet style breakfast then there will be few choices of typical inexpensive dishes. The pool was nice qith an attached kiddie pool. If tou want to eat local dishes then there is an abundance of good restaurants outside the hotels and also SM mall is close enough to walk and a Catholic church is next to it. The staff were very friendly and and helpful. It will be in my future place to return to. Since it is accessible from the Star toll way Batangas City exit.

Luxury hotel”
The hotel is very luxurious and offers great value for the money. Three different very nice swimming pools available. The restaurant offers great food. Rooms are really big and clean and have superfast internet. It's in walking distance to the SM mall in Batangas. Staff is very well trained and very friendly. One of the best value for money hotels i've ever stayed.

Hotel Pontefino is a good class hotel in Batangas. Although quite some ways from SM Mall, if you are not planning to wander about, then this is the hotel to stay in Batangas. Food, room and customer service is excellent. There is internet access in the room as well. Overall, satisfied with the hotel.

Nice Hotel ”
First night a bit noisy, lots of kids but 2nd and 3rd night was fine. Nice hotel and good location, near the shopping center and Batangas city town. All the staff are very nice and accommodating. Love the idea of restaurant and bar next to swimming pool so we enjoy while eating and drinking. Definitely we'll coming back again

Newly discovered hotel in Batangas City has a sprawling grounds great for kids to wander about. Rooms are big and well-furnished. The pools are clean and not crowded. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Pontefino Hotel. Excellent facilities including really nice and large outdoor pool, gym and Cafe/Restaurant & Bar. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Would def stay here again.

Good Stay but with little chinks”
The food is wonderful. Getting there is also fairly easy via Google Maps. Everything is clean and organized. The staff is as delightful as ever. We tried swimming but the water is murky. Even with goggles, I can't see 3 meters ahead of me. At night, the pool does not have underwater light for safety. The curtain band hooks are not repaired. The hotel can improve overall with maintenance of the facilities. We will definitely go back the next time we find ourselves in Batangas!

Excellent service and great location”
We enjoyed our stay at Pontefino as it was close to the SM and near my relatives. The staff were excellent especially Marion and her friend she worked with that served us day and night at Front Lobby and in the restaurant Buffet Breakfast Sheela and Grace were so lovely! Every staff member there was very polite and welcoming and we definitely will stay there again!

ponte fino hotel in batangas is one of the best hotel i've ever stayed in. Transportation going to the hotel is just easy even if you dont have your own car. The hotel staff are nice and service were good. I can highly recommend this hotel if you want to relax out of the city.

Could use an uplift”
There are no other hotel choices in Batangas City...Pontefino is the only viable and best choice. But the hotel could use an uplift - please ask them to check their black-out curtains which should be really changed already. Room slippers, though free, are paper thin...you would rather go barefoot. Breakfast is okay.

A short tricycle ride away from Batangas Pier.”
i got to the hotel rather late due to a long trip from clark airport. the staff were very helpful and the room was massive, clean and with a nice big comfortable bed. the breakfast was adequate, i sat outside by the swimming pool, which looked incredibly inviting. the hotel was a short tricycle ride away from batangas pier.

Good Hotel in Batangas”
A lovely hotel in Batangas, a little away from main city centre but great facilities and pool area. Overall experience was good. Room very spacious but dated, which is fine, everything was clean and tidy. We had a bridal party who were really noisey running up and down the hall at midnight talking loudly, once I opened the door asked them to please be quiet they were much better, I think just in high spirits due to the occasion!! I would stay there again.

Great rooms but poor location”
this is one of the better hotels i've stay in as far as the philippines go, but the location is rather isolated. from the hotel, it's too far and too pricy to go to any of the attractions in/near batangas. excellent business hotel, but do not come here as a tourist.

Pros: spacious room, cool AC, lobby recep kalook-a-like ni Dimples Romana pretty, buffet bfast, clean pools, just a 10min walk or 3min tricycle to/from SM, complimentary coffee and bottled water, soap, malakas shower sa banyo, room strong free wifi, quiet environment, cable TV Cons: due for renov, construction ongoing new bldg, limited parking w/in hotel premises else dun ka sa labas ng Pontefino area w/c are dusty, old towels & bedsheets

The place is starting to go down hill.”
This is one of the better places in Batangas City and is really close to the SM Mall if you want to see a movie or pick up a few things. But the prices are set at their glory days and not realistic. The room and facilities were clean, but the elevators did not work. The AC could barely keep the room at 24°C (75°F), even though it was running non-stop and set at 20°C. Half of the light switches did not work in the room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast buffet was decent. The pool looked nice, but it was 37°C (98.6°F) out during the day and I was tired and needed to relax in the air conditioning. I would stay here again, but only if I could catch another sale price on the booking.

Pros: location was ok. Near sm batangas. Pool was good since they have kiddie pool. Billiards table. They offer towels near the pool. Breakfast buffet has an option to get from the menu. Good staff. Room is spacious which is very good since im with my kids. Cons: elevator was not working. room was old. Needs renovation. My room aircon at the living room is not working. Food was a bit pricey. During the afternoon, hotel has a swimming class which made the pool too crowded. The place was not too private anymore.
