We travel here as a family (Cousins, Aunts - so we didn't put it as Family with children). The resort is clean, and new - operated since about December last year 2016. It is on the same street at the Hospital, about 1.5-2km down that street... So I'd say it is a pretty good spot when you have car/motorbike to travel around. The welcoming of the staff over there (Ms.Jiw) was really nice, and the owner (Ms.Ploy) was there to accommodate and being nice with her humors. The resort has only 22 rooms and wast crowded by the time we arrived, though they only have 1-2 rooms left vacant! The owner said that they will construct a swimming pool on the small hill in the middle of the resort (just a few step up the hill from lobby, same hill of the villa-style accommodation, and some steps from the 2-story hotel building on top of hill which has an over look of the resort. The room was really nice, clean, cozy, and large. Beautifully designed, the lightings and everything were just right. WE LOVE THE ROOMS. Plus, you can go to any room, the differences would be the Left-Right layout and size. The bathroom has this Loft style with amenities and electrical outlets, and large. In my room, the water flowed slowly, but it wasn't that annoying (on the other hand, to my cousin, he was kinda bragged a little about this and the heat adjustment of water.). In addition, the water heater is unreliable, when adjusting, a person got to wait for it until the water is warm - but before you know it, it got too hot! (But this did not troubled me, as I'm used to cold showers - not to my cousin though...). HOWEVER, I was on the second-floor... My Aunts were on the first floor, and they did not have the problems my cousin and I had. We didn't watched the TV, so no comment of that. Each room has its own big balcony (personally - I really enjoyed sipping wines+beers with my book, or switch to my work from time to time). And you can get this mountainous breeze and serenity! This is a brand new hotel, well-designed and with an enthusiastic management. It’s probably the best place to stay at the moment in Sangkhlaburi. It’s not in an interesting or pretty location, but they’re doing their best to improve the large grounds, and once the trees and shrubs have grown a bit more (it doesn’t take long in Thailand) it will feel more welcoming. The rooms are well above average for this area with nice balconies, but they would be more pleasant with one or two comfortable armchairs. The water system needs work; only cold water most of the time, but scalding hot on a sunny afternoon because the storage tanks are uninsulated. It seems that at the weekends the hotel is full (with Thai tourists) and the breakfasts are very good then; on weekdays when the hotel is nearly empty, they’re mediocre at best.

Uncomfortable experience checking out”
We were disappointed with the policy of the hotel on checkout after what was otherwise a pleasant stay. My dad had accidentally cut himself shaving (a cut so small he hadn't noticed) and a tiny bit of blood had got onto one of the towels. On checking out we were told that we were being charged 200 baht for this, which seemed unnecessary and unreasonable. We paid because we didn't want to exacerbate what was a petty issue to start with, and because the staff we'd encountered until then had been friendly and helpful. The management should understand the line between treating guests respectfully while absorbing a few very minor running costs like this, and squeezing a few extra baht out of their guests before they leave. We were there as a family of 3 generations with young children, and the experience made us feel unwelcomed. Friendly advice to management: Put our 200 baht toward fixing the hot water supply to your showers, as the one in our room only ran cold water the entire time we were there.

I was there for 3 Night with my 4.5 Years old kid, The room is clean and bigger than what I think. With the nice swimming pool my daughter really enjoy. Breakfast in the morning is come with set in the Week day and Buffet during the weekend. Staff are nice and polite...always give a very good suggestion for our family activities and also prepare umbrella for our little girl before we go out.

There was a large crack in the doorway so mosquitos could get in, so we squished the curtain in the door to prevent bites. It was quiet, but on a hill, no real view. But clean, good facilities. Has a nice pool (but warm in hot season). Close enough to the children's home where they have delicious vegan food.

Tug away from main road, could be a bit of walk if you don't have car. We stayed on the ground floor of the 2-story building, it is noisy when someone walked or coming down the stairs. The room size is okay, with very basic amenities. Bed was a bit hard. Breakfast is so-so. The resort has lots of empty land - would be great if more trees are planted as it is very hot during the day.
