Worst hotel experience I’ve had, horrible service and green pool”
This is by far the worst accommodation I have ever experienced. Selling themselves as “Poolside Villa” when you can swim in the pool because of how green in it is just a farce. Secondly, the owner offers “complimentary coffee” on our arrival, and then attempts to charge us when leaving. Finally, after booking a private villa, we wake up one morning to lots of talking, and walk out of our rooms to find 30 Vietnamese people surrounding the whole villa, with little kids running around and some old men smoking next to our rooms. This place should not be considered by anyone, ever.

Lovely family who runs the place were very welcoming but male had limited English and he is around more than the lady. The rooms were good size but very damp in the rainy season. Bed was comfy but felt as if I hoped in straight after a shower without drying. Aircon available, didn’t use. Tv has good channels. Motor bike was a joke, old and felt un serviced. Tire had to be pumped first day. Was slow to pick up speed which is dangerous on these roads where it seems no rules apply. Worst thing was the 130,000 a day to use this contraption. Recommend getting a bike before arrival. Trying to get to sleep at night can be a challenge as the owner sleeps outside and snorze quiet loud. And at 5:20 there are bells (assuming monks) that are loud enough to wake you. Didn’t use the pool as was wet enough from the rain but looked fine. All in all, don’t recommend during rain season but could be a sweet spot on hot days. Be wary that if you book on Agoda that they know on arrival.

We had really bad weather during our stay here with was unfortunate but the staff went above and beyond to make it the best experience. They even cooked for us one of the nights as we were flooded in. Rooms were so clean and new! Would love to stay again.

This looks like a new place. Our room is clean. The staff is very nice, friendly and they are always at your service. Otherwise, they speak English very well and give you lots of information about what to do in Hoi An. As our room is next to the street, it was a little bit noisy. But anyway, we had a nice stay there.

The rooms are cleans and very comfortable beds! Internet also very good here! The staff are the friendliest people I've met!! Couldn't do enough for while your staying here! The pool isn't massive but more the big enough to cool down in the sun! Would definitely stay again

Had a really nice stay at Poolside Villa. I'd made the booking quite quickly without realizing how far out of town it was, so it's almost like a home stay- which I quite liked. They have bycycle's for hire there so used them to bike in and out of town- only about 20 minutes. Or, uncle (forget his name) can run you in on his motorbike. The rooms are big and clean with the most comfortable bed I had in Vietnam. Recommended!

Amazing experience ”
I had a superb experience at Pool Side Villa. During my two night stay, the owner is very helpful and friendly. The staff were informative. Room is large and very clean! The only downside is the location a little far from the town centre. Though the hotel has the motorbike and bicycle for rent. Also provide laundry service on a cheap price. Overall I would say it's a 9.5 out of 10 for a budget hotel.

Further from city center but brand new and comfortable”
We switched here for our last night after having issues with our previous accommodations. They got us a room last minute and were very welcoming. The swimming pool is a bonus for those super hot days of summer. And everything in the room is brand new and works great. Probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. It's a bit far from downtown hoi an but a taxi is only about 2 USD. Or you can make the walk in roughly 30-45 minutes. There's a lot of road work in the area but if you're capable on a bike, they have rentals for both motorbike and bicycles. Also no restaurants nearby but they have some delivery options if you want a night in.
