I recently had the pleasure of staying at what I can confidently describe as one of the best accomodation I’ve experienced. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The suites offers a perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and convenience. The location is incredibly strategic—situated near key attractions, shopping areas, public transport, and a great variety of restaurants. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, this spot makes getting around effortless. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and every interaction with the team made me feel like a valued guest. The room was spotless, well-appointed, and very comfortable. I appreciated the modern amenities, strong Wi-Fi, and thoughtful touches that made my stay relaxing. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a high-quality stay in a prime location. I will definitely return on my next visit!
Thank you very much for your wonderful review! We are truly pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our hotel, especially our comfortable rooms and the hospitality of our staff. Your kind words motivate our team to continue delivering the best possible service to our guests. We truly appreciate your support and hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Amanjiwa 99r Melaka in the near future.
Rooms were spacious and clean. We booked max 6 pax and the connecting family room not only allowed us to get together but in fact, spacious enough to accommodate 10 pax with extra mattresses provided. Strategic location that beats traffic jam to jonker street with an alternative option to take the boat ride right down at the hotel.
The place is very clean and the instruction are clear and easy to follow through. The response are very fast , even I faced some concern to be confirm. And is very caring.. the most important is the room is very clean and you stay in like stay in hotel grade. . Will book again if go there again.
It is more like a suite because it is very spacious and has a kitchenette, sofa and a proper study table. The aircon is cold and the WiFi is good. However, the hot water is only lukewarm and the water pressure is weak. The toilet is clean and modern albeit a little small. It is on the 12th floor so it has a fantastic view. Location is great because at the back of the hotel is the Melaka River and you can walk along the pathway beside the river to Kampung Morten, The Shore (mall) and lots of eateries like JJ chicken rice ball and several kopitiams, cafes and a 24 hour mamak. If you're driving, please note there is no free car park and you need to park in an adjacent building to avoid the expensive hotel carpark. The adjacent building's carpark is charged on hourly basis but luckily the max for one day is only RM 10. All in all superb value for money.
Thank you for your detailed review! We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the spacious suite layout, great amenities, and fantastic location by the Melaka River. We appreciate your comments regarding the hot water and water pressure — we’ll look into improving these areas. We’re glad the view, cleanliness, and nearby attractions made your stay enjoyable, and we hope to welcome you back again soon!

“Exceptional”
Here’s a polished review for The Pines Melaka (The Pines Hotel, Malacca), combining its strong points and helpful observations — you can adjust tone (more casual or more formal) as needed: ⸻ Title: A Delightful Blend of Heritage, Comfort & Style — The Pines Melaka Review From the moment I arrived at The Pines Melaka, I was impressed by how well the hotel balances modern comfort with local charm. Nestled along the Malacca riverside yet minutes away from the historic core, this hotel made my stay both relaxing and conveniently adventurous. ⸻ What I Loved: 1. Location The hotel’s location is excellent. It’s close enough to major heritage sites (Jonker Street, Malacca River, St. Peter’s Church, etc.) to explore on foot or with short drives but also quiet enough for a peaceful rest. 2. Spacious, Stylish Rooms & Views Rooms are generous in size, with thoughtful décor, elegant furnishings, and nice touches like large windows or even balconies in selected rooms. Some rooms offer river views or even direct access to the saltwater pool in “pool-side suites”—a luxury for those who love swimming and lounging. 3. Facilities & Amenities • The salt-water pool (and children’s pool) was inviting and well-maintained. • Family-friendly amenities such as a children’s playground and kids’ menu make it a good choice for families. • Other conveniences: kitchenette in every room, pantry in suites, availability of EV charging at the parking, strong WiFi, thoughtful in-room amenities (coffee/tea, bottled water, hair dryer, etc.). 4. Art & Ambience One thing that sets The Pines apart: its artistic touches. Local artwork is displayed throughout, including in some of the executive suites. It gives the hotel a richer sense of place than just a “nice hotel” — there’s personality. 5. Service Most of the staff I encountered were friendly, helpful, and responsive. Check-in/out was smooth, and requests (for extra towels, room issues, etc.) were handled efficiently. The cleanliness of rooms and public areas was commendable. ⸻ What Could Be Better: • Breakfast Variety While breakfast is good and generally satisfying, several reviews mention that the selection could be more extensive. If you stay multiple days, you might wish for more variety. • Bathroom / Maintenance Details A few guests reported minor maintenance issues — things like occasional damp or slight wear-and-tear, or that some bathroom fittings could be better. Also, some said the bathrooms could be louder or have less privacy depending on the room. • Crowds / Noise at Peak Times When the hotel is full or at peak tourist hours, especially near the pool or public areas, things can feel busy. If you prefer very quiet stays, try to schedule away from holidays / weekends, and perhaps request a higher floor. (This is common at hotels in popular locations.) Noting also that some rooms nearer common-areas may experience more footfall. (Not a deal breaker, just something to plan for.) ⸻ Final Verdict: Overall, The Pines Melaka delivers excellent value. It’s a 4-star hotel that often feels above its rating: spacious, stylish, comfortable, and with enough unique touches (pool-access suites, art collaboration, river views) to make a stay memorable. If you’re visiting Malacca for culture, history, food — but also want some downtime in a modern, polished environment — this is a strong choice. Recommended for: couples, families, vacationers who want both exploration and relaxation, business travelers who appreciate comfort, and guests who value aesthetic / ambience. If I stayed again, I’d try to pick a room with a river or heritage view, arrive on a weekday to avoid crowds, and maybe enjoy a few meals outside to sample local fare (since the location makes that easy).
