Pleasant Stay ”
Went for Full Moon Party and paid a lot more than it normally costs, which is pervasive across the island, but mostly in Haad Rin. My bf and I stayed in the twin bungalow, which wasn't really a bungalow. It was like a duplex, sharing a wall with another unit. There were bungalows on site, though. I read in reviews that the bungalow's bathrooms were exposed to the outside and had a lot of bugs. The bathroom in ours wasn't exposed and had no bugs. So...if you don't like bugs then you might want to get one of these rooms. The room itself was super basic and small, but that was fine for what we needed it for. It's like 2 seconds from 7-11 and a 5 minute walk to all the activity on Haad Rin. It's just far enough that you can sleep in peace as there is no noise from the party or the crowds. The property itself is peaceful and reminiscent of other islands like Kon Lanta or Koh Tao. It doesn't look like a dumpster like the rest of Haad Rin. The owner is SUPER nice. She offered us water and bananas and told us to help ourselves whenever we wanted more. She greeted us when we saw her. She was awesome. The restaurant/coffee shop on site is good too. I'm glad we stayed here instead of a hostel. It was great!

We were greeted with smiles and cold bottles of water! The staff is so kind and make a great vibe here. The grounds are lovely and cared for and so are the bungalows. We are still here but I'm writing the review now because I have nothing bad to say about it here. The rooms are big and so are the bathrooms. So far it's been the cleanest place I've stayed in all of Thailand (and I've been to 6 or 7 different cities and multiple resorts and hostels around the country). If you are coming to Koh Phangan check this place out, it's a short walk to town, but far enough away from the noise of Haad Rin (we're here for Full Moon Party so there's a lot of people now). There is a wonderful coffee shop right at the entrance to the resort which has better coffee than what I usually find in the States. So honestly to sum everything up in one word: fantastic! Thank you for making us feel welcomed here!

Best location and the most lovely place!”
We absolutely loved our stay here! It is so clean and in a nice quiet place a few minute walk away from Had Rin beach(fullmoon). In this place you will get a good night sleep and you can easily walk to beaches near the place and 7eleven is right next to pooltrap! Bungalows are amazing, bathroom very clean and nice. Bed was really comfy. Only minus was that wifi ain't that good and they only have one plug in the room. If ever coming to Koh Phangan again, definitely gonna stay here again

Great bungalow”
It didn't look so good on pictures but in reality it was very nice and clean. Shower room looked good like in good 3 star hotel. Staff is very friendly. Bungalows are within walkable distance from the Haad Rin beach and Full Moon Party area. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful atmosphere/ staff ”
Pooltrap was fantastic ! The location was close to everything but out of the way of the noise, very cosy outdoorsey vibe. Like being at a cottage ! The people who run it are also so fantastic and kind. When my boyfriend got sick the day we were due to check out she made us very comfortable and helped me purchase things to aide his recovery, and let us stay past due ! The breakfast and coffee shop is also a bang for your buck and very tasty! Also the bathroom was incredibly huge with great ventilation. All in all great stay .

Fantastic for couple backpackers ”
We cam during the full moon party and booked quite late so everything was booked up. We knew some people staying in a party hostel down the road so we just booked this as it was the closest and cheapest - although the reviews weren't great. When we arrived we couldn't be happier, it is a beautiful little place with nice private bungalows. Just down the road from coral bungalows the pool party hostel and only a 10 minute walk from the full moon party so the location is perfect because you can still sleep. We had a few insect visitors in the bathroom as it is partly outside but this is to be expected and as the bathroom is huge it is no issue. We stayed in an air con room which also had a fan and it was a great temperature - the fan was so powerful we had to turn it off so i think a fan room would have done fine as well. The owner grows her own coffee and bananas and she offers you plenty of bananas and water on arrival. Loved it!

Decent place, but insects”
This was a decent place to stay. It's located on the edge of Haad Rin, which personally I thought was a bit too far from the action (although it was still easy to walk to the beach). The major issue is that the room I was in was not fully insulated from the outside. This meant the AC had to be constantly on. And when there was a power outage (not hotel's fault), the room got super hot quickly. I would occasionally run into random insects in the room, and any food or crumbs I left open were quickly swarming with ants.

Okay Price, Okay Location.”
One of the cheaper priced places within 10 minutes walk of Sunrise (Full Moon Party) beach, but just far enough away for a bit of quiet time. Each room is actually your own private bungalow set apart by a narrow strip of well kept lawn and flowers, each bungalow also has its own porch to chill out or talk to your neighbours from. The rooms and en suite bathrooms are basic but at least have aircon and safe, mine was a triple, which meant a double and a single bed. Forget about the name 'Pooltrap', there isn't one.

Full moon party ”
We booked last minute as needed somewhere to crash for the full moon party. All prices are inflated at this time so you’re going to pay well over the odds regardless. The lady running it was lovely and stayed late to check us in. The bungalow is in a perfect location! Seconds away from 7/11, a clothes shop and easy walking distance to the beach. Room is very basic and bathroom was pretty bad (cold shower, dead bugs etc) but nothing that you wouldn’t expect. It was perfect for what we wanted - relatively cheap and close to the party. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere to crash after the party.

Greeted us with cold water and cake with no charge, were very nice. Room was pretty clean, had shampoo, body soap and we received 1 toilet paper each day for every guest.We had some bugs because of the location but Would definately stay again

OK Stay”
We stayed during the Full Moon Party. It isn't the nicest facilities and they do their best to keep the rooms as clean as possible. The woman who runs the place is AMAZING. She is so sweet and helpful, giving free waters and bananas and a lovely smile. She is the only reason to stay there! Wifi was very slow, and the walk to the restaurants is kinda scary on the small road with all the motorbikes. We really enjoyed the coffee shop right next door. So much we stopped there everyday of our stay, either for breakfast or coffee and some faster running wifi.

Good location, lack of amenities”
Close to Full moon party beach, walking distance about 5 minutes. However my room type is too basic, no kettle and TV. The coffee table & chairs are outside room. Not much can expect for this money in peak season Full moon party date.

Nice Place for Full moon party”
Very Close to Full moon Party (Head run). The place is clean. Only major cons is there are a lot of insects and mosquitos because of its garden type of resort.

Ants”
There were ants in our bed which gave very painful bites. Room is very small. Shower/toilet area was pretty dirty and there were lots of bugs/ lizards. Location was great for full moon (slightly out of the noise but close walking distance). Friendly staff
