Great Place to Stay”
I have stayed at Poonsa several times and had no complaints. The place is clean, and the price is reasonable. It’s near the supermarket, different restaurants, and coffee shops. I highly recommend this place for family or solo traveler.

Perfect location”
Located not far from all the main attractions, can either use e-hailing or walking distance. There's Coop Mart just at the corner of the apartment as well. The staff was very accommodating to our needs with clean and spacious apartment. Would choose to stay here again for next trip.

Feel like staying in your own home”
We are a family of 4 adults staying 4 nights from 29th October 19. We feel like that we were staying in our own home with all the neccessary facilities, room is very clean. We could do the cooking with all the cooking equipments provided , a washing maching inside was a bonus.. Location was great with a lot of restaurants near by, a supermarket around the corner... Staffs are excellent, polite and helpful.. thanks so much for your helps through our stay . They worked with theirs best to ensure we are comfortable in anyways. Well done guys. We are definitely come back to stay again on our next trip and I would not hesitate to recommend Poonsa service appartment to my family and friends

Great location ”
Pros: location, decent price for an apartment for our family where we could cook food. They gave us a room without a washing machine so did laundry for us. Cons: were not able to book any tours etc just went to hotel next door. When room serviced they took towels but did not replace them, given no toilet paper so had to ask for that too.

The actual name outside is Saigon mansion serviced apartments. When we arrived they didn’t have our reservation or our room. Instead of a efficiency they put us in a two bedroom and locked one of the bedroom doors. The kitchen only has a few items in it. During the day several times two people woke Up my husband to work on water pipes on our porch. they also came And rang the doorbell At 10 PM to use our porch to work on pipes. I don’t understand why they didn’t just move us to another apartment or at least compensate us. There is no housekeeping service on Sundays which they didn’t tell us. We asked for a taxi at 4:15 AM and they forgot to call one. The air-conditioning, pillows, bedding and bed are wonderful! The shower is hot and strong. It is in a safe part of town with restaurants nearby within easy walking distance. We really like the area a lot! For the same price I would look around more to find something better. It is a bit tired.

Apartment does not appear to be the same as the photos. ”
Good location, clean room. However, the apartment was not on par with the photos shown. Apartment is a bit run down but clean. Was told that there is a 24 hours receptionist. But when we wanted to check out at 6am, there was no one to be found and we had to wait for around 20-30 mins for a random staff to appear before we could check out. We were lucky that we were still on time to catch our flight.

I had an emergency at the airport where someone had stolen my bag containing a lot of valuable belongings including my ID. I did not check into the hotel and sadly the hotel had not contacted me at any time. I spent my night at the police station instead. As I cannot submit my review without star rating I will put 1 for everything.

Saigon Mansions/Poonsa Serviced Apartments”
We had a wonderful stay at Saigon Mansions/Poonsa Apartments. The location is quite central and if you are brave enough to cross the roads then you will find most areas of interest nearby. We did walk to the War museum which is located on the same road as the apartments, and you are in walking distance of a supermarket as well:) You could probably walk to the markets and the theatre (and other areas of interest), however, we took ubers to and from for around 20,000- 30,000 VND (approx 1 GBP). We were met by Yin when we arrived, who was most helpful. She booked the tunnels trip for us and helped organise transport, and also pointed out the local sights nearby. We had a great time in Vietnam and as a family of 5 appreciated having the 3 bed-roomed apartment. The kitchen was equipped enough for us to eat in and also had a washing machine:). High ceiling and good sized bedrooms meant that we could relax together and had our own space too. All staff- reception, cleaning to housekeeping were very good. If we visit Ho Chi Minh again, we will stay at Poonsa:)

The apartment is part of Saigon Mansion Apartment. We were very confused at first since no one at reception could inform us how to go to Poonsa. But all was solved after we called the number given by Poonsa. Ms. Phang was very helpful and kind, we were very thankful to her. We were given three bedrooms apartment instead of two. Although we were not allowed to use the third bedroom but there was no fuss about it, unlike our experience in Melbourne. Thumbs up

Nice modern rooms. Spacious with good furnishings. Everything that u could want is there. They don't really have a front desk but always found someone available to help us. Didn't see the Poonsa name anywhere. The building just called Saigon serviced apartments. Bit confusing at first but very minor issue. Highly recommended

It’s within the walking distance of Independence Palace, Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica, Central Post Office, Thang Long Water Puppets Theatre, Co-op Mart (a supermarket also sells Vietnamese style ready-made food), ATMs, and good restaurants (highly recommend Phuong Chau Ky, near the left corner on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Rd.) We were upgraded from a studio to a 2-bedroom apartment. We were only allowed to use one bedroom, but 2 bathrooms were available to us, plus a nice kitchen completed with a huge refrigerator, microwave oven, laundry machine, kitchen wares and cooking utensils. We watched the beautiful sunset over Saigon from our living room and balcony. Air conditioners worked well. The comfortable bed was wider than US queen-size bed. Staff spoke good English. After we checked out, they kept our luggage in a locked room for us to pick up later. Ride to the airport is about 30-40 minutes during high-traffic periods and cost about VND$110k plus a VND$10k toll. Highly recommend!

Excellent Serviced Apartment in Saigon”
This is a nice and wonderfully clean and fully equipped apartment with very spacious bedrooms in a very convenient location just walking distance to the Reunification Palace and the Turtle Lake roundabout. Staff is very friendly and there are lots of dining options close by as well as a supermarket not far from the apartment.

Wonderful gem”
I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is only minutes from the main sites by walking, and if you're after food, there's some great places nearby. Additionally the room was huge! I've never seen a room as spacious at such a good price. Really well kept. I have to give special mention to the reception lady who was brilliant and friendly. I can't say enough good things about her. Well worth every dollar and would recommend for couples, families, and groups.

spacious rooms, home-like feeling”
I booked a 2 bed room but a 3 bed room instead. Rooms are spacious than I expected. Everything is clean and have almost everything we need. Door lock needs a bit upgrade though, you have to lock the door with the key after entering the room. Receptionist is not always there at the front desk but if you call, they do answer, just takes some time when check-in and out. Good money spent, will come back for sure.
